The 4 Seas Cottage was amazing!!!! This was our first time renting a house. We usually stay in oceanfront condos. We were traveling with a larger group than normal this year so we decided to rent a house. I was very skeptical because I love being oceanfront. This home did not disappoint!!! The ocean was so close and the quietness of the community was a definite plus. We had wonderful neighbors and our children made new friends. The house was beautiful and even larger than I thought it would be. We traveled with 4 adults and 4 children and we loved all the extra space and extra bathrooms. The home was very well stocked. Kathy was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions along the way. She stayed in contact with us from the time we booked until we made it home. I would definitely recommend Kathy and her rental homes. We look forward to visiting again next year!!!!

We had a really enjoyable (and fast!) week in Destin at the 4 Seasons. It was everything we imagined and more. The property was very clean and ready for us to unload for the 11 in our family. We had no issues and the property was well stocked for our needs. Kathy was a pleasure to work with and we appreciate her kindness. This was our 3 or 4th time to visit Beach Retreat and as always the facility was wonderful. Met so many nice folks from Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana and Wisconsin at the beach and pool. Weather was fantastic and only had one day of rain which ended by 4 pm. We enjoy our trips to Destin and as always there was not enough time to partake of all we had intended!! Thanks you so very much for the wonderful accomodations.

The 4 Seas Cottage at 49 Cottage Row is a lovely, four bedroom 2100 sq ft., beach cottage. It is located in the private gated community of Beach Retreat in beautiful Miramar Beach on Scenic Gulf Drive. Just steps to the crystal sands of the Gulf, it is ideally located for restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
Built in 2005, we purchased this lovely home that had not been on the rental market this year and have decorated this house with our enjoyment and yours in mind. The furniture. appliances and the flat paneled TVs in the living room and bedrooms are all new.
On the first floor you will find 3 spacious bedrooms: king-size master with bath; a queen with shared bath; and a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds and a trundle bed, as well as a laundry with high efficency washer/dryer and ironing board/iron are available.
On the second floor ( main level ) is the main master bedroom, a king-size room with bath that features a jetted tub and separate shower. The living room with a sofa chaise and two chairs , a half bath and kitchen/dining room complete the second floor.
The living area is open and spacious, easily accomodating your family and friends. There is a 60" TV with DVD player and high speed wireless internet throughout the cottage.
Your options are endless. Spend your days on the infamous sugar sand beaches just 50 yards away. We'll provide beach service ( two beach chairs and an umbrella ) during your stay ( March 1 through October ), you can take a dip in the 3,000 square foot, heated ( seasonally ) pool with a hot tub attached or workout in the private fitness center. All just steps away from the house. After the pool or beach, you can relax on the 2nd floor balcony where there is seating for 4.

What to do besides enjoy our wonderful beach...Should you wish to explore what the local area has to offer, you'll find an abundance of choices. Sidewalks line scenic 98 for walking, running or bike riding. We are a short 2 mile drive to the Silver Sands mall to the West, or luxury shopping at Destin Commons to the East. Kenny D's, The Crab Trap, and Pompano Joe's are all within walking distance to The 4 Seas Cottage. We encourage you to leave menus of your favorite restaurants when you come.
For evening entertainment, Destin is known for some wonderfully upscale eateries, as well as your regular fare. Friendly night life and nearby state of the art movie theater.
The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is a vacation in it’s own right for shoppers you will have access to over 100 stores, including, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike and Reebok - just to name a few. When you need to pause for nourishment choose from Panera Bread, Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill.
More great shopping can be found at the Destin Commons outdoor mall. Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, Books-A-Million & Maui Nix Surf Shop to rattle off a few. Stop for a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Café, Panera Bread, Tony’s Ristorante or Sushi Siam. More than just shopping the Destin Commons Center Plaza offers a soft-play kids playground and a 49-head pop fountain. Community activities and entertainment are held through the year at Destin Commons . Rave Motion Pictures is also housed at Destin Commons to catch the latest releases.

Destin, Florida is known as the ”World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” & boasts of being home to the largest fishing vessel fleet in the state of Florida. Fish from the beach or boat. If you do not want to bring your boat, one of Destin’s many charter boats would love the opportunity to take you out for full or half day excursions. Water surrounds Destin with the intercoastal waterway to the north and Gulf on the south, creating an abundance of water sports available, including kayaking, wave running, parasailing, kite surfing, snorkeling and so much more!
