Our family had a great time despite the rainy weather. The house was beautiful and clean! We would definitely visit again!
The house was wonderful and I hope my family can have the same house next year! You have everything you need and the screen pierce was awesome for my little dogs to feel safe. The beds were comfortable and the huge bathtub was awesome! My children (27 and 28 years old) loved it there. Dolphins in the morning and shells everywhere! We will be back next year. Thanks to the rental people for being so kind and helpful!
Our rental was not ready for our trip. We only had 2 weeks to find something. Teresa’s Beach Homes came to our rescue. We are so grateful for their help. Aloha house is absolutely stunning! You cannot get closer to the beach. Sitting on either balcony you are right on the water. The house was more than we could have asked for. Thanks for another amazing trip to the Cape!
Our stay at Aloha House was fantastic! It sits directly on the beach with a screened in porch to enjoy the magnificent sunset with the beverage of your choice. In just a few steps you are on the beach. Inside was comfortably furnished with everything we needed.
Aloha House and CSB 2019 surpassed our expectations. The bedrooms were all comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the screened porch with tall Adirondack chairs was a wonderful bonus. The kitchen is well-stocked and and has recently been updated. Extraordinary sunsets from either of the porches or the beach can not be beat. Our family loves CSB and wanted to return to show support for the community after Hurricane Michael. We thought we were the ones "doing a favor", but the treat was ours. Do not hesitate...book this beautiful home (just not the dates we want it!)
This is my second stay at the Aloha House. It's a wonderful home directly on the water with both a screened in porch and second floor porch overlooking the beautiful waters of the Cape and an excellent place to sit and watch the sunset every night. The home has all the amenities you could imagine and the beaches are beautiful. We were a little scared of coming back after the hurricane; however, Teresa's Beach Homes assured us we would have everything we needed and prepared us for what we might see. Yes there is a long way to go with some of the houses and the marina. But, the sand, sun and shores are still in tact. We shopped at the Piggly Wiggly and CVS in Port St Joe and ate at Peppers Mexican, the Indian Pass Raw Bar and Sand Bucket. All have excellent food. Most of our meals we made at the house with seafood purchased at the St Joe Shrimp company. They always have excellent choices. The home has everything you need to make wonderful dinners and dine-in. The furniture and beds in the home are comfortable and very nice. We rented kayaks from the Sand Flea and took them out into the bay and ocean and went horseback riding on the beach. It may take a while for everything to be back in order, but there is nothing missing for a wonderful and relaxing vacation by the beach. We will be back again soon!
This is our 3rd stay in 2 years to Cape San Blas and we will be going again before 2019 ends. CSB is our favorite place to be and truth be told we will most likely retire to the cape and die happy. We love staying in March because the weather is gorgeous and the beach is quiet. Well...the beach is always quiet. First, the area: The hurricane had a devastating effect of the surrounding areas and local businesses but having been here both before and after hurricane Michael, and living through the aftermath of Katrina inland of the gulf coast, I can say that I’ve never seen an area pick up so quickly and get things back in order. They are doing it the right way and you can tell just how much they love this place. In our experience pretty much all of the infrastructure has been repaired or in progress and did t negatively impact anything we wanted to do or anywhere we went. Awesome job!! Second, the house: very well decorated and comfortable. Gorgeous view right on the water and well maintained. We had trouble with the internet, not very “high speed”, but fine if you aren’t using it much or plan on streaming. The sunsets are magnificent off the decks and we sat outside a lot. We could see dolphins in the water and hear the ocean from every room on the house. We didn’t use the oven, washer or dryer during our stay but they have them! We used the stove top, microwave and dishwasher and all worked perfectly. Terri was great to work with and we will definitely look to book with them again for our next trip!
My husband and our dog, Beauregard Bleu, stayed at Aloha House the week of March 16, 2019. I recommend the Aloha House for its Gulf front, screened-in deck and comfort. The Aloha House is directly on the Gulf. Access to the beach is adjacent to the home down a boardwalk then down about 6 steps and your feet sink in the white sand. One can walk barefoot or use sandals or even jog with running shoes on this wide beach. The beach is clean with the exception of some shells. No heebie-jeebie weeds or unknown in the water, just sand. Dogs are welcome on the beach (please clean up after them) with a leash. Lots of families playing Frisbee, football, paddle ball, laying in the sun, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc. Bottom line, if you look up an ocean-front vacation, the Aloha House Gulf Front would be the source of the description. Next, the screened in deck at the Aloha House is outstanding. For any weather the screened in deck is perfect for just looking at the ocean and relaxing. The deck overlooked the Gulf front and included some high Adirondack chairs with foot stools. For some reason Beau liked it too. He would sleep out there in the afternoons and when we were about to leave he went on the screened-in deck and cried. I felt the same way, I didn't want to leave it either. It's like a front porch on main street. The Aloha House has everything. Pots, pans, glasses, blankets, pillows, utensils, everything you need. There are some great restaurants nearby but we only ate out twice the whole week. It was just so comfortable and the house so nice. There were a couple of days where we just napped and then sat in the living room, staring out the window at the ocean. I also worked a difficult puzzle at the dining room table. The other thing that was very nice was the outdoor shower. We used it to wash off Beau after we had him on the beach; we used it, too. We used the charcoal grill a couple of nights to cook dinner. Beds were cozy and the entire house spotless. No problems and we had everything we needed. Terri provided a list of supplies that she recommended we bring (i.e. paper towel, napkins, tinfoil, etc.) but everything else is there. Overall, this is a great rental house. It's right on the Gulf, the beach and water are Norman-Rockwell-like, and the house has all the amenities that wouldn't require anyone to leave during their vacation week. We plan to return to Aloha House in the future.
The Aloha House is less than 50 yards from the gulf. My four kids and I had plenty of room in this spacious house. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking and baking needs for the week. It's location is also ideal with the gas station and grocery store, plus the seafood markets all close by. Being so close to the bike trail was also a bonus for the week as we could go for a ride when the kids had enough of the water.

Aloha was a great beach house! Screened porch on main floor overlooking the beach. Second floor deck off master bedroom - great for listening to the ocean and star gazing at night. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking in. New furnishings in living/dining. Nice wooden walkway to beach. We have been coming to the cape for approximately 10 years and absolutely love it! This trip was with friends who made their first visit and they are making plans to return. Would definitely stay at Aloha house again!
Teresa's Beach Homes is always great to work with! They were very helpful throughout the entire process. Aloha House Is a nice house! It has been updated over the last year. It was very comfortable. The decks are really great to sit out and enjoy the sight and sounds of the beach. I was pleased with how well stocked the kitchen is and the overall layout of the house. It was nice having pantry space for our groceries during the week. The water hose and shower downstairs was very helpful cleaning up at the end of the day.
This house is wonderful! Love the screened and open porch options. We watched a meteor shower from the upper porch one night, and enjoyed the screened porch for lovely beach/gulf views during morning coffee and brief afternoon rain showers. (Well stocked) Kitchen and rooms are spacious-- and everything was immaculate. We have stayed in many homes on the Cape and this is one of our very favorites! Renting from Teresa's Beach Vacations is always a very positive experience! We will definitely be back...
First time staying at Aloha House and 4th year vacationing on the cape. This was our best rental out of the 4 years. Teresa made the process super easy for deposit and payment. She responded immediately. The location was perfect in between the Trading Post and Scallop cove. Walked to get groceries. House was very clean. Perfect for our family of grown kids and teenagers. Loft bed could use a new mattress, but that was the only complaint. Loved beachfront and not a long walk way from house to the beach as compared to other properties. Plenty of parking space available. House was updated and furniture was very nice. Air conditioning worked great. We would definitely rent this property again and my family has said they would like to stay here again next summer.
The Aloha House exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful and if we needed anything, Teresa responded very quickly. One of our best vacations in years. We will definitely return!
We wanted a quiet spring break get away for our family and this was exactly what we needed. First time in the area and everything went so smooth. The Aloha house was great! Roomy, amazing veiws, wonderfully stocked kitchen, great location! I could go on and on. We would definitely recommend going with Teresa's Beach Homes to anyone wanting to go to the area. We will be going with them if we can get back.
What a beautiful home. This home was perfect for our family. We had 8 people and the size was perfect. The home had everything we needed and the house was right on the beach. Thank you
Christine, thank you for your kind words! Aloha House really is a wonderful home. Hope to hear from you again in the future!
Grateful the beach and home were in fantastic shape when we returned last fall. We thank mother nature for nurturing the amazing beauty of our beaches on Cape San Blas...and Teresa's Beach Homes for their meticulous care of Aloha House. It's like time stood still, everytime we return to our beloved CBS beach home. This year, we spent November through February at Aloha House. While there, we installed new flooring upstairs, bought new kitchen appliances and dining room furniture - and several miscellanous items to continue to help guests feel cozy, and right at home. But the main attraction, by far, is the beautiful, white, squeaky sand beach just steps from the house. We spent many hours on the beach this year, walking the dog, hunting for shells, watching the shorebirds and visiting neighbors. We enjoyed entertaining several visitors too. The screened in porch continues to be the favorite place to "hang" and enjoy good conversation, read, gaze upon mother-nature, play games and watch a new sunset every night. This year, we also participated in the never-ending local festivities, either in Port St. Joe or Apalachicola. Both cities continue to expand their dining venues, and CSB's new Scallop RePublic is "the bomb" for good wine, local craft beers and nightly music entertainment. We look forward to our return in the fall of 2018. Big thanks to the crew at Teresa's Beach Homes for all they do to keep Aloha House awesome!
Just got home from a week at Aloha House, and it was WONDERFUL! The beach was beautiful, the weather was great, and Aloha House had everything we needed--the right number of bedrooms (and the right beds for 3 adult couples!), nicely furnished inside without being TOO fancy, and a great Manager who must have checked her phone and email by the minute. The beds were very comfortable and made it not so bad having to come in off the screened porch! We took our dog! We will definitely stay there again.
Cozy and comfy !! Our family vacation was absolutely fantastic. Fishing, crabbing, walking, shelling and fun in the sun. My grandchildren loved the adventure at the beach. The wildlife was so beautiful to see in it's natural setting. The sunsets were breathtaking every evening. Our day trip to Apalachicola was so much fun. The town and shopping was a real treat. Lunch at Up the Creek was great for the whole family. The outdoor eating was breezy and delightful. My daughter and Son in Law went back to The Owl for their anniversary dinner and gave rave reviews on the food, atmosphere, and service. Being as we ate in every meal St. Joes Shrimp Co was our shopping destination for all our fresh seafood. Such a lovely and welcoming place. My husband and I went to the State Park and explored. We wish we had another week to stay so we could have spent more time in the park and bay area. The loft in the house was so much fun for the kids and great for the adults too. Scallop Cove fills beer growlers with local brew. We really enjoyed getting to taste and try the different brews. The donut shop down by the Trading Post is a must. Such delicious treats. Get there early they sell out fast ! The Trading Post had anything we needed so we really never had to leave Cape San Blas. It is a 17 mile slice of heaven. My grandchildren loved the bike trail and took a long long ride with their mother and father. Theresa's Vacation Beach Rentals was so helpful. We had to change houses due to my oldest daughter canceling at the last minute. They assisted me with a new house in no time. We all agree we are coming back for more vacations at Cape San Blas !!
This is a beautiful home, with a gorgeous view. Everything you want in a Beach home, the kitchen is very well equipped. I always bring several things with, never got them out of the box. I cooked more this week than usual .Loved everything about this home from decor, room size, porch chairs. Almost too much house for my husband and I, needed family with us .. large bedrooms, very comfy beds. Bring a book or two and enjoy the screened in porch.
Beautiful place! The home house was very clean and stocked well. The beech was very close and easily accessible. We would definitely sty here again.
Our stay at Aloha House was wonderful. We enjoyed the well-equipped house, from the well-stocked kitchen to the beach cart. The proximity of the house to the beach is spectacular, as it is only a short walk to get to the sugar white sands and the emerald green water. The house is also a short distance to the Trading Post or the Scallop Cove Gas station; we often just rode our bikes to get ice and other supplies. The screen porch was a great place for our furry children to dry off and also a great place for us to sit and enjoy the scenery. Teresa and Terri are also very helpful. We have been coming to the Cape regularly for 5 years now, and we always try to rent from Teresa's Beach Homes because, from my experience with renting, they are the best. No one would be disappointed with staying at Aloha House.
April, As always thank you for your continued support! We are truly thankful to have you be apart of our TBH family. We look forward to having you back!
My family of 7 and two dogs all loved our stay at Aloha. The gulf waters are gorgeous and the sunsets are magnificent from the screened in porch. The beds were comfortable as was the furniture and the kitchen well equipped. It is obvious this house is well maintained and I loved the balance of durable and elegant in the décor. The service provided by Terri and Teresa as they answered our various questions and concerns as we booked our house was so warm and honest. Their responses were quick and thorough. We have rented thru various companies for the last 20 years of vacationing in the area, and I think we will always choose Teresa's Beach Homes in the future.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We appreciate when our guests notice and are grateful for the little things such as having well maintained and stocked homes. I am glad you had a wonderful stay with us and look forward to having you back in the future.
We have stayed in one of Teresa's Beach Homes, The Aloha, and have been delighted with everything. The house is always immaculate and Teresa and Terri are wonderful. The house was exactly as described which is always important on your first stay. We stayed during Spring break and are in the process of booking another one of her homes for next year. I would highly recommend you book with her.
Bev, Thank you for your continued support. We appreciate your review and look forward to having you back for another great year! -Terri
Aloha House was a perfect fit for us. As soon as you walk in it feels just like you think a beach home should feel. We loved the location and had everything we needed to make it our home for two months. We can't say enough about the enjoyable time we had. Spent lots of time on the beach - even caught a small shark when fishing. We also enjoyed local celebrations, and our dog was in heaven always getting to go with us. Of course there are the sunsets - beautiful every night. Thank you again for sharing your perfect beach home!
