We were so impressed by sun set cottage on St George Island. On the bay with private fishing dock. Beautiful sunset on back porch in rockers and a grill or at our private pool and hot tub! Furnished with everything you’d need and more. Very comfortable! Close to beach and grocery store. Golf cart for rent locally Spacious for Children but great for a romantic getaway for two. Lots to see within an hours scenic drive. We will be back!

Stayed on the bay at Sunset Cottage for the 2nd time this year and it did not disappoint! Sunsets, fishing, swimming, golf cart rides, short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Kathy and Don are the best!

We stayed at Sunset Cottage for our first time and were greeted by the wonderful owners Don and Kathy. We went with all our kids and grandsons. Everything about this place is perfect. I taught my young grandsons how to fish and they caught many. The pool was perfect size for our family of nine. This home has everything you need and we definitely want to stay there again. And Dons fresh homemade bread was delicious along with all the spreads and jelly’s he brought over.

This home has all you need and more! Best owners on the coast ….Don and Kathy go above and beyond to make sure your stay is exceptional! Terrific view of Bay right from the dining room! Covered and screened back porch is perfect for napping with serenade of sea gulls and ocean waves! After a day of sun, relax with a home entertainment system with surround sound …. Lots of channels to choose from and the sound is fabulous! This home is packed with beach chairs - beach umbrellas- pool gear - corn hole - and there’s room for 2 cars to stay shaded during your stay! I’ve been coming back several seasons….never disappointed!

We had the most fun staying in this cute cottage on the bay! Easy check-in and check-out. House is clean and well stocked. The owners, Kathy and Don are great! Easy walk to beach. We rented golf cart which makes for easy travel to restaurants and stores. We caught so many types of fish off the dock. So much fun!

We had a great time at Sunset Cottage! Beautiful home well stocked with extremely comfortable beds! Don and Kathy are the best! They were very attentive and always just a text away. Don also makes the most fabulous fresh bread, with homemade jellies. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We will definitely book here again!

Don and Kathy are amazing hosts! Sunset Cottage is the perfect vacation getaway! Don and Kathy have gone above and beyond to make sure the house has everything you need. Our kiddos forgot their boogie boards, but there were 4 there they could use. Ocean is just a few minutes away by golf cart and very easy to access. Fishermen will love the dock. This is definitely our new favorite and will be our 1st choice for vacations to come!

Sunset Cottage is a very nice and well kept vacation home. It looks small on outside, but Don and Kathy have maximized every bit of space. The dining room and screened back porch over look the Bay for fantastic views of playful dolphins and soaring seagulls and pelicans. The kitchen and baths are well stocked and the kitchen is equipped with updated appliances. Oh, by the way, the home entertainment system is awesome too! You can’t go wrong with this vacation home. Don and Kathy make you feel like family . Sunset Cottage is my home away from home! I will be back!

Don and Kathy were amazing host! We had a splendid time at Sunset Cottage! The views were amazing, the amenities endless and the delicious bread they provided mid-week will be talked about for months to come! They even borrowed a iron and ironing board from the neighbors for us??! We will definitely be back! Thank y’all for being AMAZING!

The first thing I want to say is Kathy and Don saved our family vacation. We had booked a house a year in advance, due to a computer error the house was doubled booked. I thought we were not going to get to go to the island in 2022. Kathy heard about our problem and called to offer her house, Sunset Cottage. She had to move her daughter's and grandkids vacation to accommodate our family. Of course we accepted and we had a wonderful time. The house is in a perfect location on the bay. The sunsets are beautiful and in the morning there are dolphins. The pool is cleaned everyday and there are plenty of pool gear and chairs. Don and Kathy also supply beach gear. All the equipment is in perfect condition (umbrellas are a must on the beach). The beach is just a short walk from the house. We rented a golf cart because it is easy to carry all the beach gear. The inside of the house is very comfortable. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen of any house I every rented. The beds are fresh and comfortable. I slept like I was at home every night of my stay. There are a lot of towels both beach and bath. They are of high quality. The washer and dryer are new and detergent and fabric softener are supplied. Don and Kathy were wonderful to work with and are the nicest people to know. They have real pride in their property and keep it in excellent shape. They were kind enough to provide fresh bread one evening and it was delicious. They also gifted us with pictures of every sunset that occurred during our stay. Our family will definitely stay at Sunset Cottage again!

The written description doesn't do this wonderful cottage justice! The view is breathtaking! Sunsets, Seagulls, Dolphins... and that was just from the breakfast nook! The screened in porch is amazing! The pool was fantastic! The house was immaculate! It's VERY accommodating with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and just about every kitchen gadget you could think of! And the owners are so sweet & considerate! They made sure we had e everything we needed while we were here and had it all set before we arrived! The pool is cleaned every day. They are only a call or text away if needed, but never intrusive. And the bread! Oh the bread is divine (handmade by the owner)! That was a wonderful, unexpected treat! Oh! It was more than worth the trip; and we hope to come back soon!

We just checked out of the Sunset Cottage where we stayed for a week with our family. First the views are amazing, sunsets were beautiful and dolphin watching was fun. The dock is perfect for fishing and just hanging out. The house is very well stocked and organized. Rooms are spacious and well kept. The owners are very friendly and even brought us fresh baked bread with jams and butter. I would highly recommend this house for any small family looking for a bay side rental

Our family had a wonderful week at Sunset Cottage. The sunsets were gorgeous from the back deck and dock. Watching dolphins in the morning was so much fun. The pool area was very nice and was cleaned daily. Don and Kathy Cox were extremely hospitable I may add that Don makes delicious bread and shared with us. A high chair was purchased when they knew we had a 5 month old with us.

We had such a great time at the Sunset cottage! The unit is well stocked with all the essentials, fishing from the dock was fun and the sunsets are impressive!! The owners were great to work with too.

Just spent a week at Sunset Cottage and loved it. We have stayed in many houses all over the island and this is by far the best place. The owners are perfect in every way and we have already booked with them for next year. If you want a quiet, peaceful home with the best sunsets on the bay then stay at Sunset Cottage! It is now our favorite place on the island!!

Sunset Cottage is our new favorite vacation home. The house is spotless, fully stocked with anything you would ever need, high speed internet, Roku and DirecTV. The dock, pool and screened porch will make you want to never leave. The owners are the kindest, most hospitable people that make you feel right at home. We are already planning our next trip to Sunset Cottage.

We definitely want to come back.

From the gorgeous sunsets to the amazing dolphin play, Sunset Cottage is just steps from the scenic bayside waters. It is definitely a cozy and relaxing home away from home with all of the amenities.

I was so blessed to be able to call Sunset Cottage home for a month! The sunsets are breathtaking ?? & we would sit in the living room & see dolphins playing in the “backyard” on a daily basis. The memories we made are priceless & the owners are a treasure. We will DEFINITELY be returning
