From the owners - Although we were both born, raised, and still live in the Midwest, our family LOVES the beach and ocean (gulf).  This is our Number 1 vacation choice!
We fell in love with the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area during our first visit in 2007... with the absolutely gorgeous white sand beaches.  We bought a condo in Fort Walton Beach, because we like its close proximity to restaurants, and entertainment, without the hassles of crowds and traffic. Since there are no high-rise buildings allowed on Okaloosa Island, the beaches are never very crowded.
