This house is everything and more as shown in the pictures. Very clean and a great location. Very short walk to the beach and the wagons were a great asset hauling our beach supplies. This was our first stay at Fort Morgan. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and minimal traffic. We will definitely be back and to this same exact house. Thank you Julee for answering all my questions and thank you for sharing your beach house!

We visited the second week in August and it was our first trip to Alabama shores. It was wonderful. The beach house was just as described, so comfortable and perfect for our family of four, plus one (MIles-golden retriever). Julee has everything we needed for the beach in her storage so we didn't have to travel with anything. The girls wanted a boogie board so we picked one up and of course no reason to bring it back to Kansas, so it has become part of the storage toys too. We loved that the immediate area was fenced in and had no issues with our 85 lb. golden retriever getting loose. We locked the gates on the deck open and he just went up and down to the bathroom area while we were all outside. So very convenient. I just wanted to say thank you to Julee, we had the best time and truly enjoyed your beach house. We would love to visit again.

I have never written a review before but always read them before booking a place. This piece of Heaven called for a review though. It was absolutely amazing. I wasn’t for sure about the washer/ dryer and full size bathroom being on the bottom but it worked out perfect. Get a shower before you tracked sand in the house. The owner was great to work with. Answering my ton of questions It is a little bit of a walk to the ocean , not too bad though. We have always stayed right on the beach so I was a little nervous about it. Don’t let that keep you away from staying here! With it being a private beach you can leave your canopy up, umbrellas / chairs there. Just know that the wind can damage it. Just a FYI. Sassy Bass ( about 5 miles up the road). Is delicious. Also there is a Tacky Jacks 2 down the other direction about a 1/2 mile. Of course we didn’t find it till the morning we were leaving . We will definitely be staying here again
Thanks Sandi - Of course I have stayed at my beach house numerous times. With the 2 wagons to haul stuff to the beach, it has never been any trouble that it is about 7 houses up from the private beach. Plus, the other owners and renters on the street are always friendly and you get to know people (and their dogs!) while you're meandering down the street. I love it there - so much more than I was expecting! Thanks for the nice review, and I look forward to having you return!

We have been renting from Julee for 4 years now. We love the new beach house. It was everything we needed. It was great to be able to bring out dog. The decor is fabulous as always. The views were great. My kids loved the ice cream truck that came around everyday. We will be back.

This was the perfect beach cottage for our whole family (fur babies included)! It has everything you need. Perfect location! Just a short walk down the street that dead ends to the beautiful beach. Thanks Shelley! You're my first review since I began renting my new beach pad! After working hard on fixing up a new vacation rental, it's great to get a positive review. I'm here now between renters. Based on some feedback, I've bought a new comfy chair for the living room (small recliner) and also a smart TV for the bedroom with the 2 twin beds in it. I heard that will be helpful for people with kids! I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay, and I do hope you'll be repeat renters!

Updated Beach Cottage in PEACEFUL Ft. Morgan - Pet-Friendly!
House has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, open living area for living room, dining area and kitchen. There is a large balcony with outdoor furniture and views of the Gulf. One of the bathrooms is on the lower level with the full-size washer/dryer. The covered carport has a storage room (which houses 2 large beach buggy wagons to haul your gear to the beach!), as well as an outdoor shower & faucet to rinse the sand off before going upstairs to the main level. This groovy pad is completely non-smoking. I regret that I cannot rent to anyone under 25.
There is a fenced-in back yard area for dogs or kids. The entire house is enclosed with fences and gates to keep your dog from getting out. If you are bringing any pets, please indicate this in your inquiry. Max 3 pets - dogs are $50 each or cats are $25 each,.
In addition to the activities listed here for Ft. Morgan, you have all the fun activities and restaurants close by in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley, etc. And you're very close to the ferry to cross the bay over to Dauphin Island! But many people just love the idea of showing up stocked and not having to leave the peacefulness and wonderful beach. If you're getting weary of the hustle-bustle of the other nearby beach areas - the crowded, lengthy waits at restaurants, terrible traffic, crowded beaches and hoardes of people everywhere you go - then this area of Ft. Morgan might be exactly what you've been longing for! SURF'S UP!!!
