5BR Oceanfront w/Pool, A+Loc- Summer Dates!, Gulf Shores, Alabama Vacation Rental by Owner

Our family rented this home during Thanksgiving week and everything was fantastic. Mary had thought of everything needed for your stay. From full stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly want or need to games, puzzles and electronics for children and adults. The location is wonderful as well. Our family gets together at the beach Bi-Annually for years and Watersedge has been the best yet, combining, beach, pool, and accommodations. We Will definitely be back!!!

We had a great stay at this beach house near the end of October. Three couples, no kids and plenty of privacy for each couple. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the dressers/closets in each room. No one wants to live out of their suitcase all week. The location was close to town for convenient access to grocery stores, restaurants and seafood markets, but away from the high rise area. Cooking was no problem as the kitchen was fully stocked. We planned our vacation stay around the Blue Angels practice schedule and spent one day at the air museum in Pensacola. If you get a chance, be sure to see the Blue Angels practice! It was very windy while we were there with red flag warnings every day, so putting up a shade canopy on the beach was impossible. But the back deck had a perfect view of the ocean, just over the dune. Our only wish would have been for a little bigger deck space, (it was just a little tight for all six of us), and a little more shade by the pool. We have stayed at a lot of places in the Gulf Shores/Ft. Morgan area. This was one of the best.

The house is beautiful and is location close to all the activities. You can't it any better than a house on the beach with your own pool. Awsome time we will be back

Thank you Mary! We had a wonderful time vacationing with 4 generations together in Gulf Shores. Our son surprised us with a marriage proposal on the beach [??] The house was clean and provided us with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The pool was perfect for the young and old to relax after enjoying time at the beach. This is our 3rd visit to GS, we stayed next door in the past and enjoyed it but found yours to be cleaner and in better condition. We definitely plan to visit again in the future!

This was our family of 7's first time in Gulf Shores. Mary Martha was great to deal with the entire time. The property was just as described. The beach access is amazing (it's only steps away) and was never crowded as the property is a ways from any high-rise condos. It was fantastic having a pool as a we had a day or 2 of high surf warnings that closed the beach. The interior is very well stocked with the essentials and everything was neat and clean. We had some concerns with sharing the building w/ another family but we never once heard any noise from the other tenants inside the house and sharing the pool was never an issue. The location is only a couple minutes away from anything that you need (shops, food, supplies etc). I'd absolutely recommend this property. You simply can't beat the location. The combination of a private pool and being right on the beach was perfect for our family. If you're going to Gulf Shores, this is place is an absolute must-stay property!

The beach is beautiful and clean, the pool right I. Front of the house is perfect, the house is very well maintained and has everything one or several families may need for their stay. The hosts were proactive, kept in touch and took care of our needs during our stay.

This was our first time staying here but the 12th year our family (14) has gone to Gulf Shores or Fort Morgan. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the house, the pool and the beach. The house is close to all the activities and restaurants in Gulf Shores which was wonderful Overall, this was the best house we have rented. The owners are pleasant and easy to work with.

Location, house, view, pool.. all was great!

The home was exactly as described. We had a wonderful vacation with our 2 daughters and families. Excellent location and the kids enjoyed the beach and pool. Beach toys, chairs and umbrellas being furnished was a plus. I would definitely stay again.

This was a perfect vacation for our family. The house is very well maintained and was super clean. The kitchen is fully stocked! We loved having access to the pool and being right on the beach. The area where the house is located was not very busy being an area with private houses and away from high rise buildings. The view from both balconies was spectacular and we saw dolphins almost every day! the house is close to restaurants and shops. The owner was very accessible by email and message if we needed anything. Definitely recommended!

First, let me start by saying, Mary Martha is the best hostess I've encountered in years of booking vacations. She was there to answer a multiple of questions!! Since we were booked during a pandemic and 2 hurricanes!! She went above and beyond to answer all my questions. The unit itself is beautiful. And I have never seen a unit so well stocked! If you need, dishes, pans, blenders,she's got it!! And there is an entire utility closet filled with chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and floats! Everyone loved their bedrooms and the kids adored the bunk room!! What we loved the most is the beach!! This unit is right there! And you have so much privacy! We were the only ones there! The kids loved having their own private pool. This unit is amazing and would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway!!

We visited Gulf Shores for the first time this year and we absolutely loved it. From the very first encounter with home owner to the week of beautiful weather on the beach, everything about this vacation was simple. The renting process was very easy and home owner was very professional. The home was big and beautiful. We had three families (6 adults and 7 children) and there was plenty of room for all of us. The pool was fun for the kids and beach access was close. We enjoyed the fact that Gulf Shores is very "low key." If you are looking for a place to go and really vacation Gulf Shores is the place to go! There are plenty of places to eat and activities for all ages, but it is not all on main strip so the children are not always asking to go and do. Our family loved eating at "Lamberts" and riding Go Karts at "The Track". But most of all we enjoyed relaxing in this big beautiful home and spending time on the clean beautiful beach with our family!

We just got back from Watersedge and can't say enough wonderful things about it. There were 9 in our party, 5 adults and 4 kids ages 8 months to 4 years old. The later sleepers slept upstairs (an idea I got from another commenter) and we didn't hear anything downstairs. This house had everything we needed, especially for the beach. We were spoiled having our own pool (the other unit wasn't rented out) and spent a lot of time in it every day. The beach is literally right outside the back door. Our 2 year olds walked out to the beach/ocean easily. The house is just as it looks online - when we walked in, I was more than pleasantly surprised. Booking the house was very easy and the owner was very helpful when we needed her. We loved watching the dolphins all day long and another favorite was the impromptu air show we saw two days in a row from the Blue Angels (we think - it was definitely a blue Navy plane). It was amazing!!! Be aware of the jellyfish - based on what I've read, I think they are pretty common in Gulf Shores and they were definitely out this past week. While in Gulf Shores, we ate a wonderful meal at Steamers which is really close by. I would recommend going to Walmart for groceries/necessities. It's extremely close as its right off of 59 and 180. We went to Belle Foods first and found it ridiculously pricey (I thought). One day, we took a road trip to Alligator Alley in Summerdale which was worth the morning trip. Overall, everyone had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend Wateredge as a vacation destination and hope to visit it again very soon! Thanks Mary Martha!

This was our families frist visit to Alabama. It was wonderful. The house at Watersedge was perfect. It has everything you need. It is just steps away from the beach. The pool really was nice for when we were taking a break from the beach. There are stores in walking distance, if you like to walk. We plan on making this trip again. The house has a great deal of room, the the master bed room up stairs has a view to die for. Thanks to Watersedge and MS.Mary fro a great vacation. Patti

Great house and great views. This was a last minute rental for us since my wife was to have back surgery on the Tuesday after we returned. Would have been more enjoyable if LEE (as in Tropical Storm) hadn't been paying a visit. Mary Martha was very easy to work with and the rental process went off without a hitch. We have been going to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach since the 80's and this was one of the best properties we have stayed in.

Our family reunion at WatersEdge was simply amazing. The accommodations were top-notch. The property has a large ocean-facing pool which is just steps away from the white sand beach. The house is beautifully decorated, with large bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, large seating area, and wonderful deck overlooking the gulf. Mornings were especially enjoyable relaxing on the deck watching the dolphins or taking a long walk along the shore. The house is very quiet and centrally located, accessible to many local markets, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Our family reunion is definitely one to remember! We look forward to a return visit.

The duplex was perfect for our family - the kitchen is so well equipped, we loved the big table. Spent many hours playing games around that table. We can't think of anything you need to change. We will definitely check in with you when we make plans to return.

It's hard to believe that a week ago today we were leaving Mary Martha's beautiful Waters Edge property. The location was perfect and the beach was beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay and so will anyone who rents from MaryMartha. The kitchen was loaded with anything a person needed for any type of cooking. We could have used a few extra kitchen towels and wash cloth's but we managed. The large kitchen table was great as were the beds. Everyone commented how comfortable the beds were. The pictures of the property are a true portrayal of how beautiful the interior and exterior of the property is. We didn't use the pool that much but it looked cleaner then the pools on either side of this property. Our neighbors were from Missouri and they were very nice people. On behalf of my family we all gave this a 'thumbs' up for the best place to reconnect. We really enjoyed watching the dolphins. The best view is definitely on the balcony of the upstairs master bedroom. Unfortunately due to the number of additional family members planning on coming next year we will not be able to fit at WatersEdge but I would definitely recommend this property. Our family of 9 (ages 18 months to 56) recently spent a week at WatersEdge in Gulf Shores. What a wonderful vacation! The property was exactly as advertised with all of our needs met. Having the pool and the beach right out the door was perfect for our little ones. The properties around us were filled with similar family groups and we felt very comfortable. This was our first visit to Gulf Shores and we could not have been more pleased. We went out to dinner only one night (good food but long waits at any restaurants) so we enjoyed preparing our own meals at the house the rest of the time. Beach and pool toys were plentiful and anything our family needed was available (child gate for stairs, pack and play, washer and dryer). All in all it was a very relaxing family week that we always treasure. The 4 and 6 year old did not want to leave and talk about it every day.

I would highly reccommend this property to any large group desiring a beachfront rental with a private pool! Our extended family, consisting of 7 adults and 2 teenagers, had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed the week. We even had 2 additional adult family members visit us for the weekend and still had more than enough room. Larger groups good easily be accommodated if willing to double up or use the pull out sofa. The bunk room is perfect for teenagers and young adults or even a family with young children. The upstairs master with private deck was perfect for older parents who loved the view without the sand! The pool was clean and the pool service checked the pool twice during our visit. The property is very well decorated and equipped. We had more than enough supplies in the kitchen. We even entertained friends for dinner during our stay. The outside storage room is full of beach toys, floats, chairs and umbrellas. Waters Edge is located close to a fabulous seafood market and convenience store making trips to the grocery less frequent! The location is also in the residential part of West Beach making the beach area directly in front of the house somewhat private and certainly not overcrowded. The owner is very gracious and helpful during the renting process and was accessible to answer questions and provide additional information.

There were 11 in our group from age 8 to 64 and we had a wonderful time. There were seashells everywhere on the beach and there was a full moon which was just beautiful shinning on the water. We hated to go home. Everything in the house was just as the pictures showed. We went on a dolphin cruise which was fantastic. One of the children in our group is handicapped and we rented a beach wheelchair for her from Ike's and it was great. They delivered and picked up at the house. It was just effortless to push in the sand and you can push it right out into the water. We would definitely go back.The location of the house was great, away from the crowds but close to anything you needed or wanted to do.

We just returned from a wonderful week at WatersEdge in Gulf Shores. This rental is named appropriately, because it truly is on the "WatersEdge". It was fantastic to be able to step right off the back deck and onto the beach! The private pool was great fun for all of us. We had a large group and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of room in the rental, everything was clean, and the location was fantastic. We could walk a block down the street and hit the beach stores or stop for ice cream, the kids loved it! I would recommend this rental to anyone who plans on visiting Gulf Shores. The Owner was easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure we had a good time. Everything was just as she had described. For the vacation of a life time go to WatersEdge. It is a home away from home. The house was recently updated and is very eye catching. There is something for the entire family to do.The swimming pool is large and it was a big hit for the young as well as the young at heart.If you just want to relax on the spacious deck sooner or later you will see dolphins playing in the water very breath taking.On my morning walks I would always find sea treasures washed ashore by the tide and the beaches are miles of white sand--so beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to dine at home. Grocery stores are near by as well as restaurants if you choose to eat out. My extended family and I stayed at this lovely property recently. What a vacation we had! The home was more than described....we were so very happy with our choice. The decor and colors are both happy and tasteful. There was not a single thing we needed that wasn't found there and the owner was both pleasant and helpful. For us, the pool was a huge amenity and we were happy to see the size accommodated our larger group. It was nice to descend the back stair and be on your pool deck. The entire group made the most of it all. The beach was just beautiful, and we left a number of sandcastle masterpieces on it! We enjoyed being close to grocery stores for that inevitable missed ingredient (although the house did have a nice spice rack). The grand kids were ecstatic to be 2 minutes from Scoops Ice Cream! We will be back! I can - and will - highly recommend WatersEdge to friends and family.

We loved our stay here! Our family of five stayed at this property this past March. ( It could accommodate a much larger group if needed.) The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and roomy with many amenities. The beach was everything that we hoped for with the white sand that stretched out for miles and the pool overlooking this lovely setting. It is conveniently located to shopping, a wonderful tennis complex in town, dolphin and fishing trips and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful and prompt in her replies. I would recommend this place to any of our friends.

I stayed there for 2 weeks over the last week of June / 4th of july / leaving July 11. Cannot ask for a better location and you are literally right on the beach and it is not crowded. The 4th was so much fun and so many houses did fireworks over the beach. The pool has a a rotating schedule and is cleaned 2 times a week so felt very comfortable sharing that with the adjoining house. The house is fully stocked and the A/C works really well. The only suggestion would be that if you like to sleep in, I would bring an eye mask. The sun comes up really early and while the rooms all have shades, they are not enough to keep the sun out. There is also a recycling center on 59 and is 20 minutes from the house. Super easy to use. Mary Martha was great to work with and super responsive on any questions or repairs that were needed. I would definitely recommend the property and stay there again.

This was a great place to stay during the pandemic. We shared the pool with people on the other side of the duplex.. there was a rotating schedule that worked very well for all of us. The house was large enough that even with 2 days of bad weather the grandchildren had plenty of place to play in the house and the grownups didn’t feel like they were all over us. The house is the best stocked place we have ever stayed, linens, kitchen supplies, etc. We were right on the beach with only the pool between the house and the beach. Everyone had a great time. Mary was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this house as a vacation spot. Thanks

The property is just as described. The owner was very prompt in retuning text messages or phone calls when I needed her. Very enjoyable week. Because of COVID-19 we did not go out to eat but picked it up at local restaurants or cooked at the house. There are plenty of pots and pans and also dishes to stay in and not have to go out. There were also plenty of toys for all the kids in our group, from 2 years old to 15. The house is right on the beach so we didn’t have far to walk to the water. It is also within walking distance to other things such as the ice cream shop and seafood restaurants.

My family and I can't say enough about our recent trip to Gulf Shores. After months of isolation in Michigan, or trip to GS and this amazing property was everything we need for the mind and body.

The location is top notch, just away from the "busy" part of the island, but just a stone's throw away (great restaurants, ice cream, stores). Plus, are you kidding me with a beautiful pool outside your door? To top it off the ocean is less than 75 yards from the house.

The space is fantastic. 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Including a bunk room that my kids loved, that sleeps up to 6-8 kids if needed. The decks (from the master bedroom and off the living room) offer an amazing breeze where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail at sunset. Kitchen is perfect for what you need, DirecTV in every room, Strong Wi-Fi, Washer & Dryer, Parking for 4 cars, Storage room with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc. We can not say enough about this place. We loved it so much, we spent 2 weeks there!

To top it off, the owner Mary Martha is off the charts hospitable and accessible if needed. If there's anything you need, she's all over it! We never been treated better by anyone we've ever rented from in the years of doing beach houses.

You'll love Gulf Shores, and you'll really love this house. It has everything you need, in the best beach town in America!

I had a fabulous time. Your place is so relaxing and you were so helpful and your suggestions were awesome. I especially enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the deck watching the dolphins play in the ocean. I am looking forward to my return visit later this summer. 

I wish to personally Thank Mary Martha for providing my family such a fantastic home for our Family Vacation. Check-in and check-out was flawless ~ No lines to wait.

The location was just perfect! Just an 18 minute stroll down the beach to parasailing - just a 2 minute stroll to a convenient store, ice cream shop, and Restaurant for your afternoon cocktails! The house accommodated us perfectly with room to spare ~ Family members ranged from 78 years old to 11 years old . There was something for everyone - beach - pool - with golf/tennis/shopping nearby! Rental bikes were delivered to the house for our morning ride on the bike path just outside the house.

The dining area accommodated the puzzle/card/board games~ a great gathering place for All! For those late risers ~ they chose the bedrooms upstairs ~ early risers chose the bedrooms on the main floor. The decks were a gathering place as well watching the kids in the pool or on the beach. My family had photos taken just outside the house ~ memories to last a lifetime! (suggest early evening around 6:30 PM – khaki shorts/white tee shirts – made for awesome photos).

With Dolphins each morning ~ Stars at night ~it was just the perfect backdrop to a beautiful fun filled Vacation!

I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a convenient, accommodating and hassle free week of Sun and Sand! We will definitely be back Mary Martha!

This property was exactly what I was hoping to find and is the perfect spot for a multi-generational gathering. The location is convenient to everything. The beach and property are just beautiful.. The dolphins patrolling the waterline in the morning and evening are such a wonderful sight. Having definitely found our spot on the beach. 
I want to personally thank Mary Martha for her top-shelf customer service.  She was as kind and helpful to us as I have ever experienced.  We were there but for a short time, scouting for a larger family adventure.  Even so, she answered all our list of questions with grace and patience and offered new ideas I would never have considered.   I can't wait to share this home with our family!    

Choosing a rental home can be risky - - well, have no fear if you are here. WatersEdge met or exceeded everything you have read in the description.

My extended family just returned from a week of beach & pool fun, and we have already given WatersEdge as a recommendation to our friends. Everything in this home was clean upon arrival. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We loved the easy access back and forth from house/pool to the beach . The beach was never crowded (compared to beach in front of the condos) and felt like our own private oasis! The location is a quick drive (5-10 minutes) to a multitude of restaurants and shops - and the young folks in our group actually walked to bars/music/lunch several times. We prefered to walk across the street to the ice cream shop! Eating out is fun, but we used the grill to prepare several yummy dinners, and the kitchen was equiped with everything we needed. WatersEdge has 2 AC units so the temperature inside was always comfortable on both levels. The "pool guy" comes twice a week so it was kept clean. And Most Importantly (because you never know what can happen)- the owner, Mary Martha, responds quickly to calls and texts and she takes pride in keeping this a beautiful home. There are many extras provided nearby too - - my sons rented a paddleboard, and others got kayaks (rentals provided drop off and pick up at the house). A few in our group chartered a boat for a very successful day of fishing. If you want beautiful photos taken at sunset on the beach - I recommend "Shore Shooters" - they took them right in front of WatersEdge and our family was pleased. Suggestions for your trip : bring kites and a game called "KanJam"- had a blast with both of those. However, need to say, that if you brought nothing along , you would have plenty here to enjoy a wonderful beach vacation!

We had a wonderful time staying at Waters Edge. The owner had a plethora of beach toys and supplies for my family and children to use. The pool is wonderful and being able to enjoy coffee on the ocean front porch every morning was fantastic. I would highly recommend this home.

What a lovely beach vacation and experience my family of 8 adults and 6 children had.  Our choice of this home made for a wonderful vacation In several ways.  First, the home really is lovely.  The location, while very restful, also has a fun vibe and is close to everything.  Mray Martha, you were so helpful and I appreciate your advice for my husbands birthday dinner.  We had such a memorable stay - we will most certainly be back. 

We stayed at Watersedge for a week and are still basking in the glow of our relaxing time together. We have stayed many other places in the Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan area, but my family enjoyed this home in particular for several reasons: the location is perfect..not too far from any access to restaurants and fun, but also the home itself is the most comfortable! The kitchen is the most well-stocked we have ever seen, the beds are dreamy comfortable, the access to the beach, though in an area one might assume to be crowded was very uniquely quiet and private (partially due to off season) and the 16x32 pool is a gem! The owner is one of the most easy-going, welcoming people and her instructions and ease of rental were all timely and accurate! Three vehicles can be accommodated in the covered area without any concern. The beach toys, umbrella, water chairs, boogie boards and floats are so numerous, we needed nothing...There are plenty of pool loungers, chairs and accommodations are kid friendly with games for those times our grandsons just wanted to chill. Our neighbors were the best and there was no noise between the two homes even with stairs and adjoining balconies. The bathrooms are strategically placed for easy access, and she has the thickest, most absorbent towels, plentifully arranged! The upstairs large bedrooms are quiet and extremely comfortable. Several naps were enjoyed by our early risers! We have beautiful memories, beautiful pictures and saw some beautiful sunrises directly from our balconies. We saw dolphins swim by a couple of times and enjoyed watching the occasional jogger, beach combers, walkers, small children and paddle boarders go by. I would HIGHLY recommend this property and we are grateful for the relaxing and fully stocked accommodations this property afforded our family! Oh and a nice surprise was the NFL channel for our football lovers in the family! Great times...thank you MMM...your place is a BIG HIT!

My extended family had such a wonderful experience staying at WatersEdge. The home itself was wonderful...relaxing and calm, while at the same time happy and vibrant. The space was good for our crew, and it was well supplied with everything we needed. Life was certainly both easy and enjoyable during our stay. I sat on one of the decks every morning with coffee and watched the dolphins. I saw more of them from my chair than I have seen on some dolphin cruises I have been on! It was truly a joy. The kids in our family loved the freedom of being right on the beach. They quickly established a circuit which repeated throughout each carefree day: beach, ocean, pool...repeat. This made life great for us all. It was wonderful to have our meals together at the large table. We played games there as well some of the evenings. The picnic table and porch swing under the house offered an outdoor dining alternative, as well as a shady spot for my reading during the day. The home is perfectly located. If you want to visit a local restaurant, shop, or grocery, you are a very short drive away....one can even a walk to a couple of spots. There is a fresh seafood market a short walk away. If you prefer to catch your own (or at least have fun trying), the boat launch for the bay behind this home is but 1/4 mi away. It offers a great place to fish from the bank, or take in the birds & other wildlife. A local rental spot was dropping off kayaks for another group while we were there. We spotted hermit crabs right off the bank, which thrilled the children! I highly recommend a stop here. Another spot for fishing, or "walking the plank" as our family's young pirate aficionado called it... is the nearby Gulf Shores Pier. It is a short drive up the beach and offers a great novel outing opportunity. The strong breeze kept us comfortable the afternoon we went. It you are more adventurous, there are all sorts of things to do nearby. One thing I noticed, in particular, was a fun-looking zip-line course. Alas, one has to leave something for next time....and we will be back! Perhaps some of our group will explore some of the adventure opportunities offered. I will once again stakeout my serene spot on the deck or beach and luxuriate in that! We could not ask for a better experience in this property, or with the owner. We stayed at Watersedge from Aug 9-Aug 16. Everything was exactly as the description and pictures said it would be and then some! The kitchen was fully stocked, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable for our group of 5 adults and 6 kids, and the pool was a wonderful amenity. We absolutely loved having our own beach space and not have to fight for beach real estate at 6:00 am which has been our experience in the past when staying at a high rise condo scenario. The best descision we made during our stay was to rent kayaks from a local company for the week. Every morning we would go out in the kayaks around 10:00 am and just wait for them to swim by and kayak with them. There were times we were as close as 5-8 ft away from a pod of dolphins. This was such an incredible experience and the highlight of our trip. We also saw huge sea turtles when we were our in the kayaks. We snorkeled and found starfish and sand dollars right up the beach from the house. I would highly recommend watersedge to anyone for a great family vacation. It was a pleasure to work with the owner who was extremely helpful and always very quick to respond with any questions that came up.

My family of 5 plus my parents, in-laws, and sister-in-law and her family of 5 visited Gulf Shores in June and stayed at WatersEdge. It was our dream vacation and perfect in every way! It met all of our requirements: beautiful and easy beach access, private pool, and plenty of room for the whole family to enjoy our time together as well as spread out a little. Our entourage totaled 8 adults and 6 children from 5-11. The house was perfect and exceeded our needs. It was beautifully decorated and the location couldn't be beat! The house is very near amenities such as dining, sight-seeing and attractions, but far enough away from the high rises and crowds. It was everything we had hoped it would be and the rental process was easy and smooth. Thanks Mary Martha and WatersEdge for making our family vacation as fun and as comfortable as possible!

We just returned from spending a fantastic week at WatersEdge. It is a nice place to be able to call home while in Gulf Shores. The pictures just do not do this place justice. We thought it was much prettier than what you see online. We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather! All seven days were nothing but sunshine and beautiful skies. There were 12 people in our party (10 adults and twin boys, age 4). The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes, glasses, and utensils. The storage shed was loaded with more than enough beach/pool amenities; chairs, goggles, toys, etc. We tried our hand at fishing and watched dolphin swim by while walking on the beach. We enjoyed our time sightseeing, saw the Blue Angels practice, walked around Fort Morgan, shopping, go kart riding, and of course great restaurants are everywhere. The house had ample supply of brochures to help with making choices for our daily activities. We happened to be there the weekend of the annual Mullet Toss at the FloraBama -- this was a unique adventure! We had such a great time and we plan to come back again next year. It is definitely worth a return trip and we hope it can become a yearly tradition.
