Midnight Mullet: A Gulf Shores Cottage, Gulf Shores, Alabama Vacation Rental by Owner

This was the perfect place for our 3-day weekend getaway trip. We enjoyed every moment spent here. We appreciate how well stocked this house was and everything provided. We plan to be back again!

Thank you for the wonderful stay at Midnight Mullet. We enjoyed the adorable house, it was perfect for my husband and myself. All the small touches were perfect, the location was perfect. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching all the people. We will be back to enjoy another vacation!

Thank you for a wonderful vacation on such short notice, but what can you say?! Only amazing! Your cottage is just perfect. The decor and just the whole place. I want to bottle it up and save it forever. The location to the beach and the lagoon was perfect. My husband is worn out from all the trips taking the boys fishing. My son had never gotten to fish the ocean or see the ocean animals as much as he did this trip. I just really enjoyed your place and all the care and extras you have. We really didn't need to bring anything. Once again, thank you and we hope to be back soon!

You have a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay so much! We love the location and the short walking distance to the beach. The Midnight Mullet had everything we needed and is decorated so cute! I'm so glad we found this place and hopefully we can return soon. If my daughter makes it to state again next year in track, we will definitely be back! This was our first visit to your cozy cottage but won't be our last for sure! Everything was so cozy and we loved all the personal touches. Everything was so well stocked we literally could just pack a few clothes and nnot have to woorry about anything else. Our children loved all the games and coloring sheets.Thanks for sharing yoru cottage with us!

Repeat renters, and again enjoyed our stay at Midnight Mullet. Wish our schedule wasn't so tight, could have used a couple more days. We so appreciate your preparation and thoughfulness when we come here. It was a great place to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We'll be back.

You have picked the most wonderful place for your adventure. We can't imagine you will lack anything here. Lauren has gone above and beyond for us and we greatly appreciate the attention to detail and kindness of this family. We were met with generous welcome offerings and perfect house instructions. This was our first stay in AL as we go though our bucket list to visit as many states as possible. The state is beautiful and so welcoming. On our several daily walks, we encountered nothing but kindness and friendly faces. Sadly, we head back to our winter in Canada, but leave with the fondest memories of Midnight Mullet and Gulf Shores.

My husband and I stayed four nights/three days. Both our schedules cleared up and we booked our stay. We were not disappointed! The house was ready and had everything we needed. This place felt like a home away from home. The owners left information out on all the local restaurants and tourist things to do. We decided to visit Fort Morgan. Neat historical site close by. I definitely recommend this house, and plan on going back with my family!

Just leaving now and wish we could stay for more! The house is so close to the beach and lagoon, with a nice big kitchen to cook in and also near plenty of restaurants. The beds are also super comfortable which is sometimes hard to find! The owner has definitely thought through all the nice touches of home. We will be back!

As soon as we walked in the door we fell in love with this little house! It's obvious to anyone that comes here, you've poured love and lots of work into this place. We've had such a good time eating all the yummy food and just relaxing on the beach. We've booked a sunset dolphin cruise for our last night here! Thank you for all the tips and for having the most well stocked house I've ever seen, you really have thought of everything. We enjoyed our first trip to Gulf Shores and will definitley be back!

My family really enjoyed our stay at The Midnight Mullet. Host communicated extremely well. Perfect location and very convenient! The “extras” made our stay extra special. The beach is one block away. Beautiful sunsets! We will return!

We absolutely loved our vacation while staying here. It was so cozy and everything that we needed was provided. A basket with snacks was waiting for the kids and a grocery run was even offered. If you are looking for something with a short walk to the beach, this is for you and your family!

My family was so glad we found Midnight Mullet in Gulf Shores AL. The house was perfect and every detail was thought out to make our stay amazing. It was so comfortable we almost stayed in the whole time. Beach chairs you can borrow, plus other things you may want for the beach. The location is also great. Just a block from the beach or the lagoon with tons of fishing and great bird views. If you need groceries or want to find a restaurant they are both just minutes away. If you book your stay here, you'll fall in love with the Midnight Mullet and Gulf Shores, just like we did.

My husband, 15 year old daughter, and her friend experienced Gulf Shores, AL for the first time at Midnight Mullet and we are already plotting our return. Everything was perfect: the decor, beds (memory foam twins in 2nd room, luxe Queen in the main), linens, fully outfitted kitchen (including lettuce spinner, a personal fave) and special touches (fresh flowers, spare beach towels and chairs, and even a bowl of peppermints.) Quick, easy walk to the beach and lagoon. Lauren the owner was always available to offer recs. I just cannot say enough good things about how great our experience staying there was. Highly recommend for families of four!

Our family of 5 had such a great time vacationing at Midnight Mullet this Spring! The beach cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable, fun and relaxing stay. The beds were especially cozy! The location cannot be beat! It was just steps to the white sands of the Gulf Shores beaches or steps to the lagoon for fishing and watching epic sunsets. There were several good restaurants and stores nearby. The kids had fun playing putt-putt and exploring the area on bikes. Something for everyone! We did not want to leave and will definitely be planning a return trip. The rental process and self check-in was super easy and the owners were very helpful when we had questions. Can't wait for our next trip!
