Welcome to the NEW Shore Thing! With all these amazing improvements, this house, which was known as Barefoot Bungalow II, needed a new moniker to go along with the renovations. Shore Thing is just the right name to let you know you are sure to have a blast here. What else is coming at Shore Thing? 10 bedrooms, 9 with a King or Queen bed and adjoining bath, plus a bedroom with a Twin over Full Bunk and a shared bath.

The outside has had a dramatic facelift with all new windows and doors, more than double the amount of windows facing the beach, a larger pool (10x13) that is now up on the expanded main level deck, and the addition of a top floor deck that extends the entire width of the house and offers access from all of the beachfront bedrooms. Phase 1 of a dune walkover has been added--FEMA will allow the rest after an upcoming dune restoration project. You can be one of the first to stay at this wonderful newly renovated Gulf Shores Vacation Rentals beach house. Summer weeks are Sunday to Sunday, so you miss that Saturday traffic jam heading into Gulf Shores.

The main floor features a huge great room with plenty of gathering space for everyone to eat together. The kitchen features a spectacular beachfront view plus 2 full size refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, an undercounter icemaker and a long breakfast bar. Here you'll find 3 main floor bedrooms including 2 beachfront King bedrooms, and a lagoon view Queen. Each also has a daybed for lounging for extra sleeping space (see full description of bedrooms below). You'll also find a half bath and laundry on this floor. New for 2023 you'll find an expanded main level deck with the pool, outdoor dining, seating, lounges and the first stage of the dune walkover that includes stairs down to the ground level. There you'll find a large charcoal grill table with two 22" Weber kettle grills, plus a few games.

The top floor has 7 additional bedrooms including 5 beachfront King bedrooms, a lagoon-view Queen bedroom, a lagoon-view Twin over Full Bunk, plus a second laundry. New for 2023, all the beachfront bedrooms now open to a large beachfront porch and the views are wide open with the addition of more windows on the beach-facing walls.

Shore Thing is located on West Beach Boulevard, 5.9 miles west of Hwy 59 on 100' stretch of quiet private beach.
