We absolutely LOVED everything about Cathy & Jon’s condo. It was beautiful, spacious, and had an abundance of natural light. The kitchen was fully stocked with much more than necessities. The full size washer and dryer was a nice bonus! The beach and pool were never crowded. Cathy was very responsive with any questions we had and has a wealth of knowledge of the area. The location is perfect - a hidden gem on 30A! We can’t wait to return and will definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Cathy and Jon’s place! It was clean, beautiful, and spacious. It was more than fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Having beach chairs and an umbrella waiting for us on the beach was a nice bonus! Cathy was extremely responsive with any questions we had. We stayed at Cathy and Jon’s condo in the beginning of August. First, I will say that it is just beautiful and is immaculately kept. We were wowed right when we walked in the door. Everything is spacious and comfortable, and it is furnished with all you could need - beach towels, extra beach chairs, a variety of small kitchen appliances, etc. We spent mornings on the deck overlooking the lake with our coffee and were back again a couple evenings for cocktails. We also really enjoyed the location. The pools, lake, and beach provided for a variety of activities, and the proximity to the bike shop and bike trail was very handy. Finally, the communications with Cathy were all prompt, easy, and very friendly. We highly recommend and hope to return!

The condo is beautiful and exceptionally clean! We had more than enough space for 2 adults and 4 kids. The view over the Lake is so peaceful. There are always chairs and tables available by the pool and the private area of the beach was not crowded at all. We love the little boat ride over and the lake for the kids to play in when there were red flags a couple of days. We have stayed at this complex 3 times now and this is the nicest condo we have been in. We will definitely be renting from Cathy again. She is very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure everything was as expected. The condo is fully stocked with all the essentials (and then some) that you need. Again it is VERY clean!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your condo and make great memories with our family.

Cathy and Jon, on behalf of my family and myself, "Thank you!" Your condo is just beautiful. We opened the door and everyone was wowed. The place was open, bright, cheery, and incredibly comfortable. Most importantly it looked just as advertised... but better in person! Our two preschoolers headed straight to the room with bunkbeds...they loved their room! I stayed in the room next door to them...the bed was so comfortable...and the room spacious. Large enough for a coffee table and small couch. Loved the closet! All the hangers were a great surprise. I always seem to need more. This time I had left over. My daughter and her husband loved the spacious master (girls were always in there also so the space came in handy). Loved sitting on the balcony!.... All the furnishings were beautifully done throughout the condo. I would not have changed a thing. My sister in law came for a visit and commented on all the small and interesting touches like the details on the framed mirrors. We found plastic dinnerware for the children which was perfect for our two little ones. They loved the beach toys!... we had plenty of towels and plenty of beach towels. It was easy to get to the beach in the morning... and the girls loved the pool after their naps. You have such a beautiful beach condo. Thank you for making it so comfortable and open to us. My daughter said it was so nice to have quality furnishings, not cheap stuff. We would love to have the opportunity to return. And last but certainly not least, thank you Cathy for being so accommodating . I have to say, this was "Just perfect!"!

Awesome place and the unit itself was perfectly decorated in each room to make you feel like you are at the beach. Pools were great and the transportation to the beach was awesome. We did not wait over 5 minutes at any one time. Beaches were beautiful and not crowded at all during our stay. This is one of the best places we have stayed with our family. Cathy was great to work with and very accommodating. The unit was fantastic and we will be back soon. Highly recommend stay for any family with kids that like the beach!

This was our second time staying in this condo, and it was just as good as the first! The condo was large enough to hold our family of 5 and still have room to spread out. The unit itself is clean and on the quieter side of the building. It has everything you need for a great vacation - anything needed for preparing meals (pots, seasonings, utensils, plates), towels, etc. The pools are our biggest draw - our young kids love them and the depth of the kids' pools are manageable, which allows me to worry less about my beginner swimmers. We went to the beach twice and the chairs are spread out enough to keep socially distant, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning next year!

We have stayed at Sanctuary at Redfish, in a number of condos over the years, and Cathy’s is by far the best! The unit is very large, is beautifully appointed, well organized, and well stocked with everything we needed, including beach chairs, grilling tools, and all the cleaning and cooking items we could need. The balconies are spacious, comfortable, and offer views of the lake, woods and deer. Sanctuary at Redfish is a hidden gem of a complex on 30a! Close to the amenities in the larger communities, but away from the crowds. The pool areas are beautiful and never crowded, the beach is large, not crowded, and you always get “first row,” and the boat rude and outflow are highlights for kids (and the boat is much better than walking!). All of this keeps us coming back!

The pictures on the web site are honest to your experience. Cathy and Jon did an amazing job with their unit and it is a great place to bring a family on vacation. We had a wonderful stay at this property. The pictures of the condo and the community property do not do it justice. It was one of the nicest condos I had ever stayed it. It was gigantic, with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well-equipped. The beds were luxurious and the towels were nicer than anything I have at home! The property pools were amazing and the beach was lovely. Cathy was very communicative with us before our arrival (but not overbearing - I've had that experience with VRBO before). I only wish we could have stayed longer. I hesitated (only for a second) to write this review because I don't want to make it so popular that I can't book this condo in the future!

We stayed here with our newborn baby and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! It was so nice, updated and clean! Perfectly located in between sandestin and rosemary! Huge pool and just a short boat ride to the beach. The beach is private which is ideal. We loved it! Highly recommended.

Sanctuary at Redfish - Peaceful, Secluded Slice of Paradise
Sanctuary at Redfish is a magnificent, gated resort facility providing luxury and serenity while staying within minutes of fantastic restaurants, art galleries and charming shops. This sixty-four unit condominium resort is located on approximately fourteen secluded acres in Santa Rosa Beach Florida. The property slopes down to Big Redfish Lake providing breathtaking lake and gulf views. Only a few places in the world are fortunate enough to have favorable conditions for these lakes to form and they provide a unique environment for a diverse collection of wildlife normally in separate fresh water or salt water ecosystems. Of the fourteen acre property, the building sits on approximately six acres. Sanctuary at Redfish preserves as much of the natural vegetation as possible to create an environment of serenity and privacy unmatched along 30A. The property is bordered on the west and south by Big Redfish Lake which empties out into the Gulf of Mexico. Sanctuary at Redfish provides a long list of first class amenities for residents. The expansive pool deck consists of four separate pools, including one zero-entry pool, one adult pool, and one heated pool which is great for children. There are also two hot tubs. You can fish, simply float or paddle your way to the white sandy beach of the Gulf of Mexico with our complimentary canoes or kayaks located along the path to the left of the dock at the lake. However, you may also choose to relax and call Kristina to take you on a peaceful four minute complimentary boat ride on Big Redfish Lake that drops you off on our dedicated beach within steps of ocean water. We supply two beach chairs and an umbrella in the unit that you are welcome to use. You will need to transport them to and from the beach if you choose to use them. Purchasing beach service from the beach vendor is also available for your convenience. (I can provide you with the beach vendor contact information)
After your day at the beach you can take a short drive to our fabulous local restaurants or use one of our four gas grills to cook your dinner. S'Mores might be what's on the menu for dessert, which can be enjoyed poolside at the large gas fire pit.
Our condominium was completely redecorated from the cabinets and countertops to the Stainless Steel appliances. Our condominium is an end unit so that there are windows on three sides with outstanding views to the beauty of the woods and Big Redfish Lake. Our second floor location adds to the outstanding views. It has 10 foot ceilings with both Travertine tile floors and beautiful hardwood floors. The unit includes a master king suite with a jetted tub and a second master queen suite with a sitting area. Both masters have a walk-in closet. The third bedroom comes with 2 sets of bunk beds. The first set is a Twin XL (same length as a queen). The second set is a regular Twin set of bunks. Both sets top bunk hold up to 1000 lbs. Our unit sleeps 8 in beds, and features a large private balcony and a small 2nd balcony off the second master, which is perfect for your favorite cup of coffee in the morning or a quiet place to curl up with a good book. In addition to the 3 luxurious bedrooms, each bedroom is equipped with its own bathroom. There is a powder room and a separate laundry closet with a FULL size washer and dryer. We are located on the 2nd floor with windows galore overlooking Big Redfish Lake. Our unit has 2242 square feet that affords additional space in the living area and second master. There are 4 HDTV's for cable TV viewing and a Bluray/DVD player for each HDTV. We have a library of movies for children and families as well. There is also High Speed Internet and Wifi supplied in the unit for your convenience.
The large living room is furnished with two sofas, an oversized chair with ottoman and an additional accent chair. A coffee table, 2 end tables and TV console circle the gas fireplace for extra warmth on cool nights. The dining table seats 8, and there is extra seating at the breakfast bar for four. The open kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. For our tea drinkers and gourmet cooks, we have an 'instant hot' device near the kitchen sink. The kitchen is also fully stocked with conveniences such as dinnerware, cookware, glassware and an assortment of small appliances.
Bike rental is available and within walking distance at Big Daddy's Bike Shop (2217 W. Co Hwy 30A) for you to take a ride along scenic 30A. Call to reserve your rental at 850-622-1165. If you feel adventurous and would like to take a break from the sun, you may want to browse the quaint local shops as well as antique shops in the area. Going east on 30A just a few miles will take you to Grayton Beach, WaterColor and Seaside. For those who want to take on some major shopping, Destin Commons and the Sandestin Silver Sands Outlet Mall are just a short 12 minute drive west on Hwy 98.

Our condo sleeps 6-8 in beds with an 8 person maximum occupancy. We purposefully do not supply extra linens. Overnight sleeping on the sofas is prohibited. Any violation of our rules or the condominium association rules can result in immediate eviction. Our rules are designed to ensure a premier experience for all our guests each and every week. Deposits are refundable if canceled more than 60 days before arrival. Deposits are Non-refundable if less than 60 days before arrival, except where the owner can find a substitute renter. As a form of payment we accept bank transfers (U.S. residents only). We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards. A 3.5% processing fee will be added for all Credit Card payments.
