We had a great break from work at Santa Rosa Beach with warmer weather than Birmingham! Rose is great as always and easy to get in touch with every time. The house is beautiful and everything is perfect in the house. We rode our bikes, ate at a very near by excellent sea food restaurant, and the beach is beautiful as always. We keep coming back to this place because it is outstanding and plan to come back as soon as possible!

This beach house was perfect place for our family vacation. First time in Santa Rosa and will be back. The house was spacious roomy clean.

We loved how close it was to the beach, about a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed walking to close by coffee shop and restaurants as well (1/2 mile). The kitchen was well equipped for those who enjoy cooking. The layout of the house was perfect for two families, having two living rooms was great for the kids. Very thoughtful laid out and equipped.

Our stay was amazing, beds were comfortable, house was clean and we loved the location. It was a quiet area with short walking distance to a restaurant, and the beach ðŸ–ï¸. There is also a place that rents bicycles, and golf carts in walking distance. We actually loved the low key area. Not far to drive to shopping, other restaurants, Walmart etc. We would absolutely stay again.

The place is outstanding as always. When we go to Santa Rosa Beach, we always stay here since the house is terrific, Rose, the owner, is always available, and more importantly, we never have any problems with anything there. It is all super nice appliances, washers and dryers, and there is the beach and an oyster bar within easy walking distance. All 4 of us ride our bikes, and even though it was a bit cold for us, we still managed to get our rides in (middle 50s to high 50s in afternoon). We had a great time and will always come back here again! Thanks Rose!

This house was just what we needed for our wedding weekend! Our out of town wedding party stayed here and it was fantastic! The hosts was beyond nice and helpful!!

We loved the house and neighborhood. Close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Very easy to get around on 30 A. We will definitely recommend this house to our friends and hopefully we can return someday and stay at the same house.

I would highly recommend staying at Rose’s house in this sweet little cul de sac neighborhood. The set up of this home is perfect for 2 families and was luxurious for our family of 5. This was our second year on this road off of 30A and the location to the beach access could not be more convenient. There is a pool in the cul de sac that we took advantage of everyday and met several sweet families. I anticipate we will be back to this same home next year. Rose’s communication was top notch and the house had pool toys, chairs, every kitchen appliance you can think of and much more. Thank you for helping us have an incredible week!

Prior to booking, Rose (the owner) called me when I inquired about the rental property. She wanted to make sure I was 100% comfortable with renting through HomeAway since I'd never done so previously. We talked for a while on the phone and I found her to be very warm and friendly. Her friendly demeanor helped me to feel more comfortable with spending money for a vacation rental!
This place itself was absolutely wonderful! Rose, has thought of everything. We had 2 little ones with us and we were surprised to find a baby gate to keep the kids away from the stairs! We were shocked to find a beach umbrella, beach chairs, a crock pot, a pack'n'play, high chair, and PLENTY of hot water which was very important for 9 people living under one roof! We were only a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 1 minute walk to the pool. We had plenty of parking for 2 vans and a sedan. The kitchen was filled with adorable red, white and blue plates, bowls and coffee cups! The property itself was extremely well kept and orderly. The decor and bedding was perfectly suited for a beach house and the appearance also helped us feel more at home and welcome.
Apparently, there was an issue with the vacuum that the cleaning crew found before we arrived. The owner called me and offered to replace the vacuum immediately if we felt it was crucial to our stay. The whole house is tiled so, for us, sweeping was easier. I was impressed with how quick she was to address a potential problem and how eager she was to ensure we were happy. The only thing we really needed that the owner couldn't provide for us was more vacation time!
I HIGHLY recommend renting this property! I promise, you won't be let down!

Our time at the cottage was Amazing! We had 2 families staying there and we had plenty of room for everyone. Conveniently located and quite with everything we needed close by. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Santa Rosa Beach.

We just got home from our week of Spring Break. I had 5 of my 8 boys with me and it was absolutely perfect!! Rose was more than accommodating, she was kind, helpful and truly concerned that we had a great time. The house was clean with plenty of room. They have all the necessary kitchen appliances along with cooking utensils. All you need is yourself, beach towels and food!! We will be back as a family or it is great for a girl's trip too. The walk to the beach is about 2 blocks and there is parking at the public access if you want to take your car or rent a golf cart. The price is reasonable compared to other properties on 30a. Thanks Rose so much for such a great trip.

Our family of 6 (mom, dad, 17 yo girl, 14 yo girl, 13 yo boy, and grandma) loved this comfortable, well located spot. Ample space for everyone, easy walk to a great beach, easy access to shops and restaurants. Loved the decor and layout of the house. Perfect!

"BreakAway" from your regular routine and stay at our inviting beach cottage in Santa Rosa/Blue Mountain Beach! Make it your home away from home. Relax in the coastal and tropical inspired decor with an overall contemporary feel. The house is just a 5 minute walk or 0.2 of a mile (350 yards) to the nearest beach access, Gulfview Heights. It is also minutes away from the Ed Walline beach access at Gulf Place. Both locations are equipped with restrooms, picnic pavilions, and outdoor wash facilities to remove the saltwater and sand.
**NEW** Kitchen appliances and private back yard patio with main bedroom access.
Bright, shiny and airy....the 2 story cottage has hand scraped wood floors throughout except for tile floors in the bathrooms. The first floor consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, primary bedroom with en-suite bath, and half bath. The living room includes a queen sleeper sofa with Cozy Mattress, and 60-inch LED TV with DVD player. The TV can be adjusted to be viewed from either the living or dining area. The dining room has seating for 8 while the breakfast bar has 4 additional stools. The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and is well-equipped for your cooking and baking needs.
Located upstairs is another living area, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The additional living area has a queen sofa sleeper with Cozy Mattress, and a TV with DVD player. To add some fun and whimsy there are some themed rooms. There is a queen bedroom reminiscent of the beach. A sea turtle bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a fish decorated bunk room, with a twin over full bed, complete the bedrooms. These rooms are great for kids and those who are kids at heart!
The house is part of a small community called Beach Nest that offers a community pool just steps away from the house. This neighborhood has been called a "Hidden Gem" due to its great location. Come and experience everything 30-A has to offer! Restaurants and shops abound in the area. There is something for everyone. Walking hiking and biking trails (2 short blocks away) are very accessible.
You can explore the quaint town of Seaside where Tim Burton’s "The Truman Show" was filmed. Or, enjoy nature in nearby state parks. Many of the communities plan activities, such as outdoor concerts. There are several scenic and challenging golf courses in the area. And if you cannot find it on 30-A, you are in close proximity to Destin and Panama City Beach.
We, too, are consumers of VRBO and have tried to put ourselves in the position of someone spending time at the house. We have put much thought into making this house a home and hope you will consider our house for your vacation plans. In an effort to pay more attention to details, all bedding has been encased with allergy protection products to make allergy sufferers more comfortable. Perfect for large families, extended family and friends, golf getaways, and gals and guys' trips.
The HOA has surveillance cameras outside for the security and safety of home owners and guests. There is a HOA camera in the front of our house which captures the street and part of our driveway. There is also a camera in the back of the house which covers the area behind the first two houses. The community pool entrance is under surveillance by another HOA camera.
