After having a wonderful vacation at Rhapsody in Blue in July 2022, there was no question about my family wanting to come back again and, in July 2023, we did. There was no need to even think about staying somewhere else as we already knew Rhapsody provided everything we needed and wanted for our family of seven, ages 12 to 71. The up-to-date home is beautifully decorated and so very clean with the most well-equipped kitchen. And after spending a long day at the beach or pool, it was a pleasure at night to crawl into the comfortable beds. My granddaughter even told me how good her sheets felt! The three levels of the home gave everyone room to spread out or we could all gather around the kitchen table and play a game. And there are so many outdoor areas, whether it be the front porch where you can swing and have your morning coffee or one of the several balconies, all very private. The location of the home is perfect for walking to Rosemary to shop or eat or you can jump on your bike and ride up to Alys Beach. We highly recommend renting bikes as it’s the way to get around. The beach isn’t far and a tram to the beach stops nearly right outside the front door to pick you up and transport you to the beach. The pool in this community is beautiful and huge, having two levels with a fountain in the upper level which my grandkids loved. Oh, let me not forget to mention the grill out back, the beach chairs, boogey boards and the outdoor shower. I’m telling you, Rhapsody in Blue lacks nothing! And to top it off, the owner, Frances, is the most delightful person with whom to work. She is so kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to work with us to make our dates work. She was only a text or phone call away prior to and during our stay in case we had questions or needed anything. I can assure you that if you choose to book Rhapsody in Blue you, too, will have the most enjoyable time in this beautiful home and location.

This house is perfect for two families. The main leve King bedroom is huge and nice for those that don't want to go up and down steps. Two living areas is also nice so the adults could be downstairs and the kids could go up to the loft. Frances provided a well stocked kitchen in additon to a gas grill. The house is super convenient to the shops and restauarants at the Village of South Walton. We can't wiait to stay again!

Description
Rhapsody in Blue
is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath home in the beautiful community of Seacrest, found along scenic highway 30A. Built in 2006, a complete home renovation was completed in February, 2019. The new décor features fresh colors, refinished wood floors throughout all three levels, new kitchen cabinets, Quartz countertops and all new appliances. Immediately past the front door is a large, open den and dining area with a wooden table. The new kitchen is fully stocked, next to a large island that offers plenty of bar seating. The main level bedroom includes a king size bed and convenient private full bathroom. The rear bedroom doors open to a spacious wood deck with a private outside shower to wash off sand from a great beach experience! The spacious second floor features a large master bedroom suite with sitting area. Within the master bathroom is a newly-tiled walk-in shower with frameless door and a large free-standing soaking tub.
Close to the master suite is a third bedroom featuring three unique bunks. The fourth bedroom with queen size bedding and full walk-in closet shares that bathroom with the third. All bedrooms have doors to access a nice deck or balcony. The third floor is a loft that is perfect for hanging out. There is a large sectional sleeper sofa, television, and gaming system. Another set of doors open to a nice open balcony suited to relaxing and watching the sunset!
Within easy walking distance of both Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, the Seacrest community features the largest tropical lagoon pool on 30A. Several new features were added to the pool area in 2018, including enhanced greenways and stage area where local musicians play frequently during the summer evenings!

“Rhapsody in Blue” was built with Hoppe© brand heavy-duty hurricane doors. The frames are steel and incorporate a multi-point pin system at the top and bottom of each door. To latch and lock properly, both doors must be fully shut, and then the handles lifted fully upwards to engage the top and bottom pins. With the handles lifted upwards, the key can be inserted and the dead-bolt locked.
To open doors, push the handles fully downward to disengage the top and bottom pins, then unlock with the key.
