Sugar Sands Sanctuary, St George Island, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

The location of this house right on the beach with the infinity pool and the view is nothing short of amazing!  The house was also great with tons of space for everyone and very nicely stocked with whatever we needed.  We had to bring very little!  And the beds, they were SUPER COMFY!  The owner was great and very helpful with all of the technical questions we had about the house and electronics during our stay.  We will definitely be back!

I can't even begin to describe this vacation.  We are 3 generations on our annual beach trip.  This was our first time to St George Island.  First, SGI is our new favorite place. Its phenomenal. Now to this property...NO WORDS!  Its beyond description. It met every need we could possibly dream up. We were there 6 nights and I still couldnt remember where things were in the kitchen...yes...its that big and equipped with everything you could ever think of.  The beds were SO comfortable.  Everyone had their own space.  I think the best part was we could sit on the deck, watch our family in the pool as well as watching the rest of us on the beach....without ever getting up!  

Now to the owner.  I can't say enough about BG.  He was on call 24/7 (His words).  Any issue we had or questions we had, he was on top of.  THE BEST OF THE BEST!!  I feel like we are good friends....that says a lot!  

I can't say enough about this incredible house.  Its everything you can imagine and more.  We can't wait to return next year!  Thank you BG for sharing your amazing home!

Our stay was a dreamy vacation for our family and felt like our own private paradise within the st. George island plantation. This coastal sanctuary is architecturally stunning with extraordinary interior design and a deep respect for the natural environment. The kitchen is state of the art and the chef quality cookware will make dinning in a five star experience. Every bedroom boasts sumptuous beds and opulent bathrooms with expansive showers and vanities. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax in the great room and adjoining sitting area. Outside the fun continues on the ample pool deck and the infinity pool overlooking the minty green gulf waters. Multiple outdoor dinning areas allow for different atmospheres to set the mood. The grill and bar area on the first level further allowed for another location for beachside fun. Lastly the owner of this home went above and beyond to show true hospitality and great kindness genuinely caring about our families vacation. We definitely look forward to our next visit at Sugar Sand Sanctuary!!!

The pictures don't do this house any justice. It is absolutely stunning! Truly one of a kind on St George Island. From the architecture, the furniture/decor, the fantastic art work, the ridiculous kitchen, the spaciousness, etc, we couldn't have asked for a more unique and luxurious vacation for our family of 8! Then, the outdoor space....to die for! The pool speaks for itself, not sure i've seen an infinity pool on the second level of a house before. We spent hours each day going from the pool to the beach and back. Tons of outdoor seating and dining space. We literally felt like we were in our own world when we were there. The Plantation is absolutely gorgeous for taking walks or bike rides. So scenic and beautiful. Lastly, the owner was fantastic to work with. We all had realistic expectations going into the trip, he answered probably 1000 questions, gave us recommendations on places to eat and things to do while we were there. Couldn't have been happier with the house and the service we were given. We can't wait to come back soon!!
