Blue Skyes Cottage, Cape San Blas, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Skyes Cottage! The owner has created a beautiful home in this this lovely gated community of Barrier Dunes. The location is wonderful, safe and convenient. Everything you could think of needing is here. Very comfortable beds with such nice bedding. The whole setup of the house is so convenient. We loved the ramp at the back of the house making entry to the home easy and good for loading and unloading the car. This home is close to the beach and we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood meeting other homeowners and vacationers. Everyone was so friendly. The decor in the home is beachy and fun. There were games in the closet and books to enjoy. I read 2 of the novels during my stay. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Deborah!

This cottage is in a safe, quiet, gated community an easy walk to the beautiful white sands and emerald waters of the gulf. Our family of 6 adults had plenty of room (two slept on the sleeper couch). We used the fully stocked kitchen for most meals, grabbing takeout low country boil our first night. The house is very clean, not at all dingy or trashy. Smelled very clean on entry- we felt safe there. Room to park, two nice pools, uncrowded beach. Large porch to enjoy our morning coffee on. Deborah was very helpful with our questions, quick to respond. A very restful, recharging vacation to take our minds off the pandemic. Our little dog was very comfortable there also. Another visit will be in our future.

We just returned from a relaxing stay at Blue Skyes Cottage. The cottage was perfect and Deborah has thought of everything you might need. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. The kitchen is fully stocked if you enjoy cooking. A beach wagon, umbrellas and chairs were provided. We rented bikes for the week and enjoyed riding on the bike path. Cape San Blas is still as perfect as ever! This was our 4th trip to CSB and we couldn't imagine going to any other beach! Thanks for sharing the cottage with us Deborah!

My family of 4 stayed here late July. This was our second time staying at Blue Skyes Cottage. It was perfect for us it was clean and has all you need in the kitchen. There is a little walk to the beach but it was not a problem for us. We were worried about the beach damage from hurricane Michael . The beach access was all repaired an the beach itself was great. Great place to come!

This was the first adult getaway for my brother and me with our spouses. It fit just right! Ms. Deborah is an excellent host and her cottage is very cute and comfortable. We loved the short walk to the beach, pools, the porches, and all there is to see and do at Cape San Blas! Planning on another trip with our families!

My happy place! We have stayed in the cottage twice and plan on coming back. The cottage has everything you need. The cottage is beautiful. Spent a week in June.

The Cape is a magical place. It’s serene, laid back, non-commercial, and pet friendly. Our favorite beach. My wife, my son, his wife, our two grandchildren and our fur babies thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage. We had great beach weather and the kids loved sitting on the comfy front porch listening to the rainfall and the frogs from the local pond. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfy. Great floor plan for a two BR. AC works great. The owner (Deborah) is very nice to work with and responds quickly. We hope to return for another stay.

Our family stayed at Blue Skyes Cottage the first week of April. The cottage has all the comforts of home .... PLUS the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. All you need to bring is food and sunscreen. The owners have thought of everything else you'll need for a relaxing visit to Cape San Blas. (Beach chairs, wagon, towels, bikes, etc.) While there be sure to visit Weber's Donuts at the Trading Post .... but go early as they often sell out. Another treat is Skully's Low County Boil. Our favorite thing about the cottage is that you're able to disconnect from the real world, slow down, and relax. The cottage is very comfortable, the beach is clean, and the area is family friendly. Note: If you need more room, the owner has a condo in the same complex. The units back up to each other so it's very convenient.

My wife and I along with our small dog stayed five weeks in January and February of 2018. The property was great. We found ourselves taking long walk on beautiful trails and neighbor hood sidewalks. We could be at the beach in 5 minutes which we did often. The home had everything you need to have a great stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. We will be back if our schedule allows us to do so. The owner is wonderful to work with. Thank you for the great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed here in August of 2017. We really enjoyed it. The place has everything needed to have all of the comforts of home. Fully equipped kitchen, grill on the back deck and rocking chairs on the large front porch. If you stay here you will not be disappointed. It is an easy walk to the beach. We will be staying again.
