My family and I vacationed here for a week and this condominium in a whole was fantastic! Location was spot on, views were amazing and the condo was perfectly sized for our family of 5. Also being pet friendly in an amazing condo was a plus plus for our family! We will definitely stay again! (VRBO Review)

It's a great location. One of our biggest concerns before we got there was the road traffic going to be horrible, and it wasn't at all. What really sold us on this property was they are truly pet friendly, not small purse dog friendly. We were allowed to bring our black lab with us. It was very nice to be able to walk to dinner, or for ice cream, and to local shops. We recommend beach retreat, and we would stay here again in the future. (VRBO Review)

We have visited Miramar Beach about a dozen or more times and have stayed in several condos and private homes. This was however our first stay at Beach Retreat and we could not have been more pleased. The view is excellent the condo was very well decorated, very clean and extremely quiet. . Amazing location! Walk right across the street to the beach. Easy access to pool also! Always plenty of parking, great view from the balcony, and quiet at night. Quick and easy access to local restaurants, shops, etc. perfect for our small family!

We had a group of 5 of us stay for a family trip. The property was very centrally located to a main road with tons of shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and very easily accessible to the beach with carts and an elevator to assist bringing suitcases up/down from the room. The condo we rented was clean, neat, and perfect, and it was a bonus we could bring our pet with us. All amenities worked well and we'd definitely stay here again and recommend this condo to others! The location was great! Across from the beach with a beautiful ocean view. We were able to walk to stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. The pictures don’t do justice. It is very quiet inside and a beautiful view with plenty of space to enjoy your vacation. The bunks are a very nice treat for young kids.

Property was great. It was listed for 9 people and was adequate yet a little small. Would have been ideal for two families with a few children. Loved the location and beach access was very easy.

Spent a week at Beach Retreat 404. Great views from the balcony! Complimentary beach chair rental was a bonus with private beach access compared to the crowds at the public beach, and the beautifully maintained pool was a favorite end of the day retreat. Everyone that we came in contact with during our stay was so friendly, and it was so nice to be able to bring our dog with us on our trip! Restaurants were within walking distance. Property Management was especially helpful during check in when our door code did not work, and it was quickly resolved! Highly recommend this property for your next trip to Miramar Beach! We would definitely stay here again!

Unit was very clean, kept up to date. Great location and great beach access. Area/ neighborhood was very friendly. We had a great time and enjoyed staying at unit. Owner kept us well informed on check in and check out process. We plan to return to same unit shortly once I can arrange and schedule dates

We just returned from our short getaway and I can’t say enough great things about this property. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the condo was perfect and well appointed. We were able to drop our things and just stare at the ocean, which was the main goal! The beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean and well maintained. Very impressed and will be back! Super nice condo with great view. Place was very nicely furnished and decorated. Beds were comfortable and linens were nice. Kitchen was well equipped and good for eating in. Great for 2 couples with the king beds. I would highly recommend this place.

This beautifully decorated condo with breathtaking views definitely succeeded our expectations! We can't wait to return!! Conveniently located (within walking distance) to many of our favorite restaurants Kenny D's, Pompano Joes and Crab Trap. Provided peace of mind about transporation. We enjoyed easy access to the lovely beach, the perfectly maintained pool and hot tub. Definitely the perfect Beach Retreat! Highly recommend this place! Thank you

The condo was clean and in a perfect location. The private beach across the street was never really crowded and neither was the pool. Would definitely stay at this property again.

This is our second time renting from these owners. Both times have been great!!

This is the 2nd year in a row we have stayed in this condo and it has been a great experience. The check-in process is simple and easy to follow. Hope to come back next year and get a bigger condo.

My husband and I, along with another couple from a different state, met up at Beach Retreat 404 on April 27th for a glorious week. Exactly like the photos! Absolutely beautiful with everything you could need. Our one big surprise was how close we were to the beach! Out the door and across the 2 lane road and you are on sand! 5 minutes max! Heavenly!

Traveling with kids

My family and I had never been to Destin and having 2 young kids made it especially challenging knowing where to stay. This condo couldn’t had been more perfect! Mere steps from the private beach - the sand was so soft and clean and there were enough kids to make it really fun for ours. The chairs and umbrella were also a huge selling point for us. The pool is great and the hot tub is a nice plus. The condo is located close to really great restaurants - 2 within walking (with kids) distance. We loved that the condo was pet friendly. It was also very well decorated and furnished with the must haves. Tip for those traveling with kids - bring toys!! There is nothing for them to do in the condo - and be prepared to put up a lot of breakables. The only real “con” I have is that check out is at 10:00am Central - which is earlier than even hotel check outs - and although the check in time states 3:00pm it’s best to plan for 5:00pm so you’re not upset when you show up at 3:00pm after a day of traveling only to find that check in is BETWEEN 3-5. Will definitely be visiting Miramar Beach again!

We absolutely loved this condo & can’t wait to go back! It is beautifully decorated with amazing views. I loved sitting out on the balcony, it was definitely my favorite spot! And if the weather wasn’t “beach” weather, it was still nice to be able to sit outside & enjoy the view from the balcony. There’s no need to go out every night because the unit is equipped with everything you need to make dinner at home & you will always have the best view whether eating inside our outside! If you like to go out to eat there are several restaurants within walking distance which was nice also. We travel with our 2 dogs & it is often difficult to find nice places that are pet friendly so we really appreciated that this unit was & my dogs enjoyed the balcony as much as we did! I loved that the chairs & umbrella were also included so all we had to do was grab the cooler & walk across the street to the beach without lugging our own chairs. This unit is in a beautiful area & there is a great walking path along the Gulf that my dog & I enjoyed walking along. This was my first time booking a condo as we usually stay in hotels & I liked how everything you need to know about checking in & checking out is sent via email & the instructions are very clear & easy to understand. We will definitely be back!!

We loved the Beach Retreat. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (parents with four college age kids). We loved the decor the owners have chosen. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was included- beach chairs and umbrella, outdoor seating overlooking the ocean, comfy beds and great kitchen. We ate in every breakfast and lunch and a few dinners and had all we needed to make meals. The owners answered questions quickly and were helpful in helping us select places to eat and things to do. Thank you so much for providing such a great place for us.

The condo has an excellent view from the balcony, our favorite spot. Spent hours here every morning after swimming with a fresh pot of coffee.
Unit is well furnished. Got everything that we need.
Can't wait to return.

Our unit was really nicely decorated and very clean. All the furnishings and sides even the towels and bedding was new and crispy clean. The view from the balcony whether Day or Night was so wonderful it would be hard to beat. Kitchen had everything we needed and we did not want for anything. The beds were very comfortable and the bunks were winners. Outside the beach was like a postcard and pool was also extremely nice. The condo and grounds were all clean and well maintained quiet but in the best location. The entire family loved it all and have informed us that they will move there when they grow up. It was the best. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

The property was as described. Very clean and comfortable and in great overall shape. We felt very comfortable staying there even though we usually prefer to stay in resorts or nice hotels.
Right across the road from the beach and with very nice Beach Service as well. Sand at the beach was absolutely beautiful. Pool was OK, not the greatest, but was clean and well maintained. We really appreciated being able to bring our small dog with us as well! 

We absolutely had the best time this week on our quick getaway. We had 2 couples and each brought our little dog. We each had an "ensuite" with very comfortable beds. We didn't use the bunks at all but next time I want to bring my daughter and her husband and our 3 grands. We had everything that we needed and more. We will be back soon.

It was really a great condo. It had all the amenities one would need for a relaxing getaway. Nice kitchen with plenty of serving pieces. We loved getting fresh seafood from Destin Ice and cooking as we find it a relaxing activity. We also went deep sea fishing and that was a hit as well. The beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed having cocktails each night on the balcony. I have no complaints whatsoever. Very well maintained and the condo was close to everything. Have plans to stay again next year. We travel a lot, mostly to the Carribbean, but this was a great alternative and close enough to drive. The pool was great for a fresh dip after being at the ocean all day. My shih-tzu could have stayed on that balcony all day long. he loved it.

Our stay at Beach Retreat 404 far exceeded our families expectations, the condo was so beautiful, clean and well maintained, we had all the amenities anyone could ever desire. it is hard to know when making a reservation online, if the photos accurately reflect the property, In the past, we have found that some pet friendly rentals are just not as nice and not truly kept clean, but not in this case! This condo was even more beautiful than the online photos showed. Our family, including our four legged buddies, truly felt at home. We relaxed and enjoyed the pristine beaches and clear waters in Destin. We will come back again and again, and rent from Renee and Laura who are very welcoming and went the extra mile to ensure we had a fantastic family vacation. We have already been telling our friends to vacation at Beach Retreat. Thanks for an awesome vacation.
