BRAND NEW Luana Life, Destin, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

Our family spent spring break 2022 at Luana Life. We were a group of 18 and the space was perfect for us. Everything was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had so much fun in the backyard - there were plenty of swim toys available for us to use. We had to drag the kids out of the heated pool every night. The walk to the beach was quick and easy with beach access right at the end of the street. This was our first time in Destin and we will definitely be back and I would recommend Luana Life to anyone.

We spent a wonderful week in Luana Life. Everyone in our group loved the house. It was decorated beautifully, very clean and had everything we needed to make the perfect vacation. Our grandkids loved the large pool and all the water toys. The area was very nice and close to the gulf. Natalia was so helpful and easy to work with. We hope to stay in Luana Life next year again!

We were a group of 4 families with children ages 7 to 18. We had a blast at this house! Each couple and the younger adults each had their own room with a TV and private bathroom, and the younger ones shared a room with bunk beds and bathroom. The whole house felt very comfortable! The distribution is perfect for providing privacy, comfort, and fun! The dining table, living area, and pool are perfect for large family gatherings. The house is within walking distance to the beach (less than 2 blocks away) and the golf cart is convenient to take the younger ones with their toys, chairs and boogie boards! Natalia is a superb host too who makes herself available for any questions related to amenities in the Destin area. I would recommend this to anyone planning to have a memorable week by the beach!

The moment I contacted the owner Natalia, I felt at ease booking. The pictures of the home do not come close to how amazing it is! This home is spotless, come well equipped with everything you could ever need. Upon arrival the check in process was easy. Everything was on, including pool heater and home AC. The extras that are provided put this property over the top! Bedrooms- With 7 bedrooms and 7 full bathrooms, this home has plenty of room. The beds are comfortable and plenty of extra pillows provided. The bathrooms come with nice amenities to start. Family room/dining area- The beautiful dining table easily seats 16/18 people. Separate seating area for games, morning coffee, to relax after a long sunny day just next to the kitchen. Love the open concept of the kitchen and living area being all together so everyone is involved yet, has there own space. All the appliance were spotless. Drawers loaded with everything you could possibly need to cook. We spent 8 weeks there (we kept extending our stay) and we cried as we left. The pool is larger than most rental homes we looked at. We spent most of our days in the pool. They have updated the lounge chairs which made it very nice. They have provided bikes, surf boards, sand toys, beach chairs, everything you need and more including a nice grille with back up propane tanks. The outside area is nicely maintained and the driveway is left enough for multiple cars, and your golf cart. Trash service is on multiple days making it very easy in case you forget one day. The beach is a short walk down the beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The barracuda beach entrance is easy to get to and park if bringing your car or golf cart. The property manager Lindsey is a gem and answered so many questions. We have traveled a lot, and this home exceeded our expectations all around; we fell in love with Destin!

We were four families with 6 teenage kids and 1 elementary kids, plus 7 adults. From the planning stages and communication with Natalia, our outstanding host, to the check out process, our entire stay in this wonderful home was handled with class. You would think that with 4 families, we would have found something negative to say about this house, and our stay, but there simply is nothing negative to say. Everything was simply outstanding. Beach: it was a 2 block walk through this quiet residential neighborhood to the public access beach. We were able to walk back and forth very easily, even carrying the (provided free of charge) 2 paddleboards. The beach that you walk out onto is private. There is also public areas on the beach (that are more crowded, but easily accessible) that are just a short walk further down (maybe 400 meters). There were a lot of toys/beach items that were provided like shovels, pails, a wagon to pull it down to the beach, bikes to use, boogie boards, coolers, etc.

HOUSE: WOW. What a gorgeous house. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with plenty of room (both bedrooms and bathrooms had great space) !! This was SO nice for multiple families as we didn't have to be on top of each other. Everything was so CLEAN. There were towels and many toiletries provided. The balconies out of the 2nd floor rooms were beautiful. The KITCHEN was stocked with everything we needed. The eating spaces were wonderful too. We had 14 and could eat together, or in different areas. We never felt cramped at all. The TV and WIFI were super easy to use and nice to have. There was a very nice TV in every room.
AREA: A quiet residential area, with retail and restaurant areas within walking (5 blocks ish). There is a WalMart within 10 minute drive. There are closer grocery stores if you wanted as well. It was a very easy access of the freeway/bridge into Destin. There is plenty of room for at least 4 vehicles (many houses did not have this nice of a driveway area.
POOL: The kids, and the adults, all enjoyed having the private pool area with plenty of space and chairs. It was protected from the wind on a windy day that was cold at the beach, but beautiful at the pool.
HOSTS: Our hosts were amazing from start to finish. They were very quick to respond to all of our questions! They were very available during our stay. The check in and check out process was extremely smooth and easy.

We absolutely loved our time at this new modern home just two blocks from the beach yet still convenient to Whole Foods. My husband and I stayed here with friends and their extended family. This home is as described though somehow even more beautiful and spacious in person than it appears in photographs. The floorplan is ideal for multi-families, couples or a group of friends staying as SIX of the seven bedrooms have their own full private bathrooms. This means no fighting over who uses the shower when! We are both tall. Shower pressure and height is important to us. My husband is 6ft 4in and the height of the showerhead was above his height with terrific pressure. The seventh bedroom has two large bunk beds featuring four double mattresses. It is the perfect room for a slumber party. All bedrooms are equipped with smart TVs which adds to the convenience. The heated pool was perfect for cooler weather and gorgeous especially when all lit up at night. We explored nearby fresh seafood and grilled out by the pool. Totally worth the extra cash to rent the golf cart with a large group. I can’t wait to return for the 30A Songwriters Festival or Wine Festival with my girlfriends. The owners have thought of everything. We could not have had a more spectacular stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Luna. Located two blocks from the beach and really close to grocery stores and restaurants is a plus. We explored restaurants around and we BBQ at home too. The house is inviting to large families. Large dining table accommodated all of us. Some of us biked and others walked to the beach. The weather was a little bit cold but paying extra for the warm pool was well worth it. Our room had a balcony which we enjoyed with our morning coffee. Loved having our own TV with streaming capabilities. Definitely, we will come back.

Our group of 17 loved this house! Six master suites eliminated any "discussions" over who got the bedrooms with bathrooms. :-) And the bunk room had 4 double beds and a bath, plenty big enough for all the kids. This house was as-described but definitely exceeded our expectations. We had the pool heated and got our money's worth. Every one loved the pool! The kitchen was modern with great appliances including a separate large capacity ice-maker. The owner and property manager were very responsive to our questions on heating the house, a dishwasher (non-) issue, and a light bulb change. While it was a bit chilly for the beach, we spent a little time there as it was only a short two blocks away. This house is new and fresh, in a great location and I would highly recommend it to others.
