Pleased about our stay.

My family and I had the very best time at Cake by the ocean. The picture are okay but they house is breath taking and is everything the pictures said and sooooooooo much more. Chuck and his crew were ready for us and we had to check in early which was no problem at all. The place was spotless. The views on every single floor were picture perfect. The ocean sounds put you to sleep and super relaxing. We had 12 adults and 7 children under 7 and was so much space we were never feeling cramped. The pool was warm and very enjoyable, the kids played for hours and hours. So many places to eat on the lower deck, middle deck and the massive dining room. We cooked every night with that many folks and 3-4 people in the kitchen was never to tight for space. The beds were the best. Super comfortable and smelled nice and fresh. The AC works amazing and kept the entire house super cold. We will definitely return next year. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your home

The house size was ideal for our 5 grown children and their families. Everyone had their own room and space. The porches were amazing with spectacular views. The beach right across the street was so beautiful. We loved the pool and nicely landscaped grounds. Chuck, the owner, took immediate care of all our minor issues. Overall, everyone in our family had an incredible time in this wonderful house.

I treated a group of my top saleswomen to a beach retreat last week and we were lucky enough to stumble upon this property. It. Is. Gorgeous. The view from the second and third floors is amazing. The updates are second to none. Every bed was so comfortable. The pool and outdoor area is amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us and enough bathrooms to go around. The owner was accommodating, responsive and attentive. The house was in pristine condition when we arrived and had everything we needed. The Crab Trap restaurant is right across the street which was so convenient as well as public beach access. When it comes to location you seriously cannot beat it. We can't wait to come back again next year, this has for sure become an annual trip!!

Our extended family gathered from WA, CA, MI, TN, AR & AL to celebrate my son’s 20 year retirement from USMC. The house was perfect for several large gatherings as well as quiet, restful relaxation. Chuck, the owner, was very helpful and easy to work with. The location is great for beach access, surf fishing, taking walks and across street from a restaurant & beach bar. Chuck, the owner was very helpful, friendly and easy to work with.

Welcome Home. That is how Cake By The Ocean feels. The owners Charles and Lori have put some many details into this rental home That make your stay complete. The decor is spot on in every room. Lori has not missed a corner when it comes to the finishings at Cake. We had 21 people staying in our group. Plenty of indoor outdoor seating, comfortable beds to accommodate everyone, bathrooms, dishes, silverware, pot/pans and serving dishes. A walk in pantry to store your food. With a large group it’s important to have space to get away. We loved that the bunks had curtains so if the kids needed private time they could get away. All the beds were comfortable as the pillows and Sheets were too. The house had everything you could need. The best part Is proximity to the BEACH and THE CRAB TRAP and having THE POOL on the beach side made Cake a TRIFECTA!! You just don’t need to go far or even leave at all! Cake has 3 levels of fun for everyone without ever feeling crowded. We had our coffee ever morning on the 3rd Level. What an incredible view! The pool was fabulous. The division between the toddler and deep pool made for some great volleyball games and the hot tub was a great place to watch all the pool activities. The pool cleaners came 2x during the week to keep things in tip top shape and the owner even stopped by and put more salt in the pool. Surroundsound through the house and tv’s on all levels and bedrooms. The 3rd Level is louder then the rest would be my only complaint but we enjoyed Billards and cocktails in the evening up there. Our group was very thankful that Charles and Lori have shared their home with us. We hope to rent again next year. Cake By The Ocean will not disappoint !

Cake By The Ocean is exactly that... you can have your cake and eat it too at this rental! What a fabulous experience; from booking to checking out, everything was phenomenal. Chuck was always one step ahead of us... questions were answered before they were asked and he ensured T's were crossed and I's were dotted prior to checking in. He provided excellent dining recommendations and we took his advice and booked our first ever fishing charter! We all agreed that his hospitality made our friend-cation the most memorable trip to date. I would HIGHLY recommend renting Cake or one of his other properties as they are all nearby and equally as gorgeous. Chuck, THANK YOU for opening your home to us!!! We can't wait to visit again!!!
