Day Dream Penthouse, Destin, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

I don’t even know where to start with this review other than to say this has to be one of the absolute best places in all of Destin. It all starts with the owner (Anna) and the property manager (Jessica) – they are absolutely incredible to work with and attentive to anything you need. They worked with me to get the days and price we needed so that our family could enjoy this wonderful condo. We had an issue with the fridge when we got there and both Anna and Jessica responded to me immediately and told me how to resolve the issue which worked perfectly – and it was almost 10pm at night. Best owner\property manager I have ever worked with. The entire condo has been updated with incredibly high-end stuff – it’s like staying at a super high-end resort when you stay here. The condo is fully stocked with everything and anything you can imagine – you literally don’t have to bring a thing with you to enjoy your stay here. Automatic blinds that you use Alexa to open and close, huge TV’s throughout the entire condo, ultra comfortable bedding and the toilet seats – Wow! Who would of thought I would ever include a toilet seat in a review? I know its crazy but they have Toto Washlet toilet seats in 3 of the 4 bathrooms – these things are like $500 each and they are everywhere in the house. Totally incredible, heated toilet seats with a bidet built in. My kids and I could not stop talking about these things and, needless to say, we will be installing them in our house as well now.

Another awesome feature is that the condo comes with its own private beach so no one, other than the guests staying at Crystal Dunes, can access the beach between 8am-5pm. That is a huge bonus when you see these public beaches stacked 10 deep with people. Anna even goes the extra mile with this and includes 4 chairs, 2 tables and 2 umbrellas with your rental! Every morning the beach attendant sets up your reserved spot right on the water that you can enjoy all day long. We used this just about every day and you feel like royalty on your own private roped off beach while the public one next to it is stacked all the way back to the street. They even have security that enforces it so only guests can enter. The beach attendant was awesome as well. But the best part is definitely the view – WOW. When we were looking for a place in Destin (which we have never been to) my wife was insistent on renting a place with a view so we settled on this one. This view has to be one of the best views in all of Destin. Penthouse floor overlooking the Gulf – the views are simply breathtaking – daily views of the Dolphins swimming in the water. And if for some reason you can’t see them just use the binoculars that come with the unit! They have literally thought of everything in this condo. No doubt we will be renting from Anna and Jessica again next year. My family and I cannot thank you enough for a wonderful vacation in Destin.

We absolutely loved staying at this condo! All the rooms are very spacious and the technology upgrades are a big plus. Location was also great for us and we didn't have to worry about waiting on the elevator forever since it's a smaller building. This will be my first choice when coming back to the beach!
