Ocean Retreat Villa, Destin, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

We had an amazing vacation stay in Destin! The home was clean and all basic necessities were already available in the home. From the hot tub and pool, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, golf cart rides to the beach, we will definitely be back to stay in this beautiful home.

The House was just as I expected. Pictures and description are right on the money. We had our entire family at the house nine folks ranging from infant to 70 years old. Private pool was Awesome. My four year old nephew could wake up and swim before breakfast. The property is private and gated with a beautiful large pool at the clubhouse with tennis/pickle ball courts. The golf cart was a bonus ride around neighborhood and take to the beach. One of the best family vacations ever for us and highly recommend to anyone.

Loved our stay. No issues with the home as the listing and photos are accurate. Quiet gated neighborhood. The pool was great for young kids and adult alikes. Plenty of pool floats, toys, towels available for use at the house (huge perk).

The saltwater pool did not disappoint! We all loved hanging out there. We opted to heat it for an additional cost (May visit). The hot tub was hot too. It was so nice to have our privacy. The clubhouse is close, but we preferred the private pool. I was glad to have a big basket of beach towels for our family of 7. We went to Crab Island for an excursion and needed them. The master suite is very nice. The rest of the house provided plenty of space for us. We rented the use of the golf cart. We used it for a few beach runs and dinner at Pompano Joe’s. We rented the bikes. Those were pricey compared to the golf cart. We used them a few times and it was a nice way to get exercise. Jan was communicative and helpful when needed, and prior to our trip she called to give us helpful tips and answer any questions. The Destiny East is a very nice area, safe & quiet.

This house was perfect for my family. We loved the gated community, kids enjoyed the pool. The homeowner kept in touch and responded right away when I had questions. I've been coming to Destin for over 10 years and this house is my favorite!

We just returned from our stay at the Ocean Retreat Villa over the July 4th holiday week and it was perfect. The house was bright and clean, and fit our multiple family crew with room to spare. The open layout with all glass doors along back side of home with a pool view was perfect for kids and swimming. The pool is amazing - perfect size and so fun with waterfalls and lights! The house was stocked with all essentials to get started for the week and had more than sufficient pots/pans, plates and utensils for our crew. Great location with a quick golf cart ride to beach and wonderful beachside restaurants. Must rent the golf cart - so nice! The community pool and playground are great as well! Overall wonderful home where many wonderful memories were made that we'll talk about for many years to come!

We were lucky enough to stay in this great house our last trip to Destin . We loved the pool and the screened in lanai was an added plus. The golf cart came in handy for our trips to the beach. Jan answered quickly to any questions I had. Everyone had a great time!

The house and private pool were exactly what we were seeking for a short New Year’s Eve stay. Jan was in contact with us from start to finish and was very polite and accommodating. The house and neighborhood was just as described- perfection. I have no complaints or negative comments. It was sincerely one of the most carefree get-always we’ve had. We hope to visit again soon. We just returned from our 7 day stay at Ocean Retreat Villa, and loved every minute of our stay! We loved the home and the pool was very inviting and relaxing! The golf cart was great for quick beach access, and the community was top notch! The owners are great, and very accommodating. We made many great memories and we will be back next year.

Amazing house that pictures don’t do justice. The premium feel in not only the house, but the neighborhood as well was just what we were looking for. Fast responses to any question we had and a homeowner who has EVERYTHING in the house for their guests makes for a remarkable stay!
 

A quiet & peaceful place to relax and vacation with family and or friends. The villa is in walking distance to the beach & has excellent club amenities and security. The host was gracious & kind and accommodating! You won't be disappointed.
 

Great location- close to beach and pool- home was spacious and great for our family vacation! Loved how the kitchen had everything for preparing meals! Great outdoor space As well!
 

The house is great!! Very clean and Jan the host was always available to answer any questions I or my family had. I love the size of the house and the location is the best!! The best part is waking in the morning having a cup of coffee on the back porch... so relaxing!!
 

Jan's home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The home was spacious and wide open. The golf cart came in handy for the nearby pool and beach. This was by far our best experience with an Airbnb home. Jan was in constant communication with us and was available to answer our questions. The welcome book with suggestions of things to do and where to eat came in handy. The only thing I didn't know was that the tennis courts doubled as pickleball courts so bring your paddles! We cannot wait to go back.
