This year we all took a vacation in the Destin area instead of South Walton area. Upon looking around we decided to choose this particular home because of its location and how beautiful it looked. we stayed in another home in the same subdivision about 14 months ago and saw this house being built. Wonderful layout and what makes it really nice is basically it has two master suites, one on the main floor and one on the second floor. The second floor has its own private balcony and then has a third floor deck that has beautiful sunset views and you can also see the ocean. The house is incredibly close to the beach and the Crab Trap restaurant. It took all of about a minute and a half to walk to the beach. The pool and back entertainment area of the home is just out right awesome. It was fun to sit around the fire and chitchat at night. The house sits on a lake but then overlooks the ocean so you get the best of both. Some really cool things, the bunk room could probably facilitate six kids comfortably. They have a large closet and a tub/shower in that room. Both master suites have electronic bidet style toilets. The master bathrooms both have incredible showers. And, the master bedroom downstairs bathtub actually fills from the ceiling! The massive TV in the living room is more than big enough along with the outdoor TV in the covered lanai. One thing we really liked is that all of the Lanai were covered so even if it was a rainy day we were fine. The third floor is more of a “pergola” style outdoor area and has large beams covering it instead of an actual roof. It was nice having Apple sized TVs in the bedrooms versus some of the other homes we stayed in that had very small TVs. All of the TVs had an immense amount of services on them, Dish Network, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max and more. The house has a very welcoming floor plan and easy to cook and talk with family and friends. Our family booked a Christmas vacation for this Christmas and everybody decided on Destin. Second week, we browsed all of the websites as we wanted the perfect home. We wanted something fresh and new that accommodate our family. And after three days of searching we ran across “always and forever“. After seeing to the pictures and talking to guest services we decided to book this house. Wow, simply wow! We were told that this house was finished in the last eight or nine months and it definitely shows. Beautifully decorated home, beautiful woodwork and gorgeous lighting. My wife fell in love with the jellyfish and the staircase and the artwork in the ceilings. Yes, not only is there artwork on the walls but there’s actually artwork in the ceilings. The home was very spacious and had a credible outdoor area for us to enjoy the beautiful weather. Christmas morning in the morning after was pretty cold but with the outside fire pit we all enjoyed it. The house was incredibly clean and fresh and was very quiet with beautiful views of the sunrise over the lake in the morning and up on the third floor tower it was beautiful views of the sunsets every night along with some ocean views to the south. The bunk room was a hit with the kids and we especially appreciated the USB charging ports in each of the individual beds for the kids phones and iPads. The automated cabinet or or the top and the twin dishwashers along with the awesome range with a steam oven was a hit as we cook a lot of our meals at home. This was probably one of our most favorite homes we’ve ever rented and absolutely and positively have plans to come back to this home again! As far as activities, we loved my Destin Commons and the huge Christmas tree there. We went down to 30A and went to the Watercolor and Seaside markets. Aptly named "Always and Forever", the home will surely impress you the moment you arrive. Showcasing several handmade lighting fixtures, local artists rendered artwork in the foyer and the staircase. The headboards are handmade along with the bathroom mirrors throughout the home. You will want to make this home your go to Destin vacation home every year, hence the name.
Upon entering the front door, the home controls greet you and allow you to turn on every light with one touch. Lighted ceiling artwork adorns the hallway into the living room. A broad 6-foot-wide hallway leads to the rest of the home allowing you to enjoy the local artwork in the ceiling.
The spacious living room adjoins the gourmet kitchen with an island large enough for your family to feel a part of the cooking process. The kitchen features a chef's dream cooking area including a Thermador 6 burner gas cooktop with a grill and griddle. Two Bosch dishwashers for those busy meals, a free-standing ice maker, a Subzero refrigerator and freezer, and an amazing Thermador coffee/latte maker are some of the fabulous features of this home. With an open concept between the Dining, Kitchen and Living room makes this a wonderful spot for those special gatherings.
Six ensuite bedrooms will give you and your family enough private room when not together. All of them with floor to ceiling beautiful tiled and stone showers. Three of the bathrooms contain special artistry made custom tile. Many of the showers are full shower systems making those sun basking days easier to recover from with a nice long spa like shower experience. Both Master Suites feature full Shower experiences including hand showers, rain heads and body jets. Both Suites also include full electronic bidet style toilets along with heated seats.
The main floor features four bedrooms. The kids room AKA “Bunk Room” contains custom made bunk beds. Two Twin XL beds above two Full sized beds cantilevered off the wall. All four beds have their own lighting along with shelf to charge those phones or tablets. This bedroom has a full bath and closet along with a large tub. The lower Guest West bedroom is a king sized bed with 12ft ceilings and a hallway closet and full bath. The lower master suite is a spa like experience as if you were staying in a five star resort. The bedroom has 13ft ceiling trimmed out in locally sourced cypress wood. A stunning masterpiece of fine carpentry. This bedroom has walk-in closet and a entry foyer featuring a beautiful art piece from acclaimed artist Jenny Lanna made for the homeowners. It features the owners and their two Basset hounds, Max and Zoey, taking a sunset stroll down Duvall Street in Key West. From the foyer you walk into the master suite bath. This bath features 13 ft ceilings with inlaid cypress up lit trey. This bathroom offers a beautiful stone soaker bathtub and an incredible experience shower. The shower is a Kohler DTV+ digital experience. Dial in the exact temperature and which shower features you desire, such as the Rain Shower experience, and off to fantasy island you go. Custom made lighting and mirrors adorn the walls in this bathroom. The Den features knotty Alder double doors, as the master suite offers, with a king-sized bed and adjoining full bath with a stunning draped metal link-chain chandelier. This room has a mirrored armoire in a set aside niche to not disturb the walkway of the room. This Den is off the living room.
The home features a beautiful staircase featuring the locally acclaimed “jelly fish” display. Custom jelly fish lights adorn the ceiling of the staircase which leads to the supple sitting room for the upstairs guests. Viewable from the street at night with multicolor accent light make this a delight coming back to the home at night. The sitting room features a Keurig coffee maker, an undercabinet custom refrigerator, sink and a Bosch Speed oven which is both a microwave and convection oven. Upstairs is two ensuite bedrooms. The upper guest west bedroom features a full bathroom with floor to ceiling tile. A hallway guides you to the bedroom which is a custom-made blue velvet upholstered bed. This bedroom looks to the north and west with sunset views and snippets of the lake. A short journey down the east hallway takes you to the massively large second master suite. This suite is nearly 400 sq ft indoor and a private lanai area overlooking the pool and lake that is another 400 sq ft. It will be a coin toss on who gets the upper or lower master suites. Up the spiral staircase off of the 2nd Flr master suite takes you to the Skydeck. The owners built this for pleasant evening sunset views and ocean breezes. Several views of the ocean along with sunset portraits make this Skydeck a special place. There is seating for nearly 100 people on the Skydeck and 12 on the 2nd Flr lanai.
Finally, the “Outdoor Experience”. Yep, it deserves quotes on that. What a way to relax while you are away on vacation. Beautifully decorated back yard with always green artificial turf. Several palm trees overlook the pool to create the oasis style luxury living. The pool is an art piece. Custom plaster containing polished stone and ceramics along with abalone shells with custom poured benches and stools that while seated you can enjoy the lake views and the entertainment of several Ospreys and Egrets along with the local family of several turtles. As if one was not enough, there are two, yes two rear fire pits in the back yard. One under the 2nd floor master suite deck that allows enjoyment and outdoor TV viewing on a potential rainy day or any time that you just need out of the sun enjoyment. In this lanai area there is a sectional sofa that will seat 8-10 people. To make TV viewing more enjoyable the owner placed two beautiful handmade copper gas lanterns on each side of the TV to make the experience at night even more impressive. The 12,000-gallon pool features two sun shelfs along with two seating ledges wrapping around the pool for fun in-pool conversations. Deep end is 5 foot two inches, and it’s slopes up to the steps to the sun shelf. The sun shelf is 8 inches deep the spa is 4 foot deep. Three stools sit next to the sunken fire pit that is pool side so as both parties can enjoy good conversation or games. From the pool you can enjoy full sun for the bulk of the day with relief happening later in the afternoon. There is a full outdoor kitchen with refrigerator, natural gas grill, power side burner and sink. Next to the lanai is the exit of the master suite with outdoor seating. The master suite has 10ft tall glass sliders that make for a beautiful view over the whole pool area, however, privacy is allowed as full custom drapery can mask the master suite sliders.

This is one of the most well-appointed and most beautiful of homes in the Destiny area of Destin Florida. The home features ICF construction with 12” thick walls that keep cool temps in and the heat and humidity out, not to mention sound. The internal walls and floors are insulated and sound-deadened with rock wool insulation. The home has a 17 ft tall seawall, far higher, if not the highest, in the whole area.
