The layout is great, the pool is fantastic, the location can't be beat, and having our own dock was fantastic. However, there was trash around the pool, hair in the sink, loose boards and the stairs and deck, the TVs didn't work, the hot water didn't work, and the entire downstairs had no AC. The management company is really, really slow to respond. The AC was never fixed (we were reimbursed for a large part of the rental being unusable in August), the boards took 3 days, and we had to fix the hot water ourselves. It was clear that this was once an amazing house, but the owners/management are letting it fall apart. There's more I could list (dishwasher doesn't really work, curtains came out of the wall), but we did have a good time. The furniture was great, the beds were comfortable, and the common areas are really nice.

Perfect location! Very easy to get to all the restaurants and crab island by boat. My kids loved fishing off the dock and throwing out cast net. House was clean. Walk to the beach was about a 4 min walk. You could get to the Restaurants and crab island by boat in 10 minutes or less depending on traffic on the water. The downstairs apartment was very nice and the air conditioner worked great! Only a few negatives..Downstairs had a very weird smelled. Air didn’t seem to flow into room with bunk bed..it was pretty hot in that room but fans were provided so that helped. Bunk bed was pretty squeaky.. every time my kids moved, it would wake them up. Only one key card to get in the beach gate which is frustrating when everyone isn’t going to the beach at the same time. A code would have been better. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would stay here again.

I loved the view .. The house was awesome except the king bed was two twin beds pushed together (no springs) and the toilets were tiny 🤦ðŸ½â™€ï¸ðŸ¤·ðŸ½â™€ï¸ Aside from that it was an Amazing stay 🤗

With a 40-foot boat slip, this retreat offers enough room to lay up your large yacht alongside a lengthy dock. It's also perfectly situated, boasting an incredibly long view looking down the canal and the Destin Harbor. Pack your newest swimming suit and enjoy a refreshing splash in the private outdoor pool - the pool area has plenty of seating and loungers to enjoy the sun and get your daily vitamin D dose. Enjoy a thirst-quenching juice or cocktail in the shaded lounge area, or surprise your friends with a delicious barbecued meal thanks to the on-site gas grill.
Inside, the home offers a spacious open floor plan. The living area features a cozy C-shaped sofa in front of a TV and a small coffee table in the center. The adjoining kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher for easy post-meal clean-up. The dining table seats up to six people comfortably, and additional dining space can be found on the island with four chairs and an adjoining high table with four extra stools.
All bedrooms are equipped with TVs, and the spacious main bedroom has access to a private balcony and an en suite bathroom.
