Our family really looks forward to our annual Labor Day trip to Destin and this rental. Mike & Carol are always great hosts and we enjoyed the improvements that they had made over the past year.

Another year at Destin and again had an amazing time at Unit 1, we had a great week! The house was clean, well stocked with the essential supplies and housewares. The parking was a plus since it can fit 4 cars, the fifth bedroom on the beach level was a great addition. Will be back next year

My family loved staying here!! We had 11 people, including a baby, and had plenty of room. Our favorite part was the beautiful view and private beach just steps from the back door. You could look down the beach and see the crowds at other areas. The house is beautifully decorated and feels very clean and beachy. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay. I also loved that the kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of towels & wash cloths, parking for 4 cars, and the house included baby items. We enjoyed our stay so much and now I am spoiled to a private beach. We definitely recommend the Sandollar unit 1 to others!

Our family loved staying here! We had 11 people and never felt crowded. We had plenty of room to spend time together, eat dinner, play games, etc., but enough space to have privacy. Being right on the beach and having our own space was amazing! Mike was very responsive to all my questions from the 1st inquiry to the last. We would love to stay here again! Such a view from every deck! This is our second year staying here. We love the beach and deck. The 2 swings are a great addition. There is room for everyone. Such a beach vibe interior. Everything is so clean and fresh looking. Michael is easy to work with and makes planning easy. We will be back in 2024.

This was a perfect setup for a group of 10 friends! Everyone had their own space and it never felt crowded. Walking off the back deck and being on the beach was awesome! I don’t think I can ever go back to staying in condos! House was very clean and comfortable. Mike was very responsive to any emails or calls I made. Would definitely stay here again. Only complaint I might could see someone make (even though it was not an issue for us) is that the main access to the beach level is off the balcony of a bedroom. So if those people were still sleeping we had to use the spiral staircase that might be challenging for some people.

This was our family's second year to stay here and the place continues to exceed our expectations. Love the improvements that Mike & Carol have made - top notch! They are great hosts. The location right on the beach and with private beach access can not be beat. Already looking forward to next year.

We have been renting the unit for many years now and it does not disappoint. The location is beautiful, the 5th bedroom is a great addition with its own bathroom. The big deck and swings is a plus. Will be back next year

This was our second year to stay at the sand dollar unit 1. We’ve stayed at other units and this one is by far the best unit. The floor plan and all the bedrooms work out great for our big family. We had enough parking for 4 cars and the location is amazing. The balcony at the bottom has two showers to rinse off and lots of extra chairs and sand castle toys for the kidos. We are excited to book again for next year. Best house on the beach with all the great amenities.

My family has been vacationing in this area for the last 10 years together and we unanimously agreed that this was the best house we’ve ever stayed in. The house was a perfect space for our large family, with plenty of room on the inside and outside! Mike was great and quick to communicate any information we needed. The house was very clean and exceeded my expectations with how nice it was. Our family hopes to make staying here a yearly tradition!

This townhome is so perfect for a family vacation! It has an incredible amount of space! The kitchen is beautiful and the bathrooms are so nice! The multiple decks have incredible ocean views and comfortable seating, including 2 porch swings! You are steps from the ocean water and have your own space! There is even a heated rainwater faucet to rinse off at before coming inside! It is also the end unit with a larger parking spot! If you have the opportunity to stay at this townhome, you will not be disappointed! It is amazing!

This townhouse was a dream! It was so tastefully decorated and recently renovated. We took our girls on their senior spring break and stayed here. It was perfect! The beach was private and literally right off of our deck. It was my first time in Destin and I definitely want to stay here again!

We stayed at the townhouse during our week of fall break. This is our third different trip staying in the Sanddollar community. Without doubt the absolute nicest unit we have ever stayed. Being an end unit there was ample parking and our beach access was perfect.The location is perfect. Everything is perfectly updated and decorated superbly. Mike and Carol definitely have a hidden gem with this townhome. We plan on being repeat guest for a very long time.

My family stayed here over Labor Day weekend and the following week. We were very impressed with the condo - Carol has done a great job remodeling and decorating it. Can.t say enough about how convenient it is having the beach in your backyard and this is one of the few sections of the beach that allows you to set up a tent. Mike & Carol were great hosts and everything went smoothly. Looking forward to our visit next year.

My family and I stayed 5/8-5/15. This was our first trip to Destin and we loved this beach house. The owners have done tons of remodels and updates and this place is lovely and well stocked with everything you need. The location is amazing and probably one of the best locations in Destin in my opinion. It was wonderful walking down to the water without any hassle, you are literally steps from the ocean at this place. There is enough room for 4 cars to park and easily 3 family’s or a really large family inside. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We enjoyed it so much. We cooked all of our meals here for the whole week. The pots, pans, dishes, and everything else in the kitchen is brand new. Bring an oven mitt, I wasn’t able to find one, but otherwise everything else is there. The full size washer and dryer was also soooo great. I did all of our laundry the night before we left, so came home with clean clothes to put away instead of a weeks worth of dirty clothes to deal with. You won’t be disappointed if you book this place. It’s so good and we plan to book again next time we come to Destin. I’ve already told all of my friends and other family about this place. The owners are kind and very responsive if you do have any needs. We had an issue with the downstairs shower not working, they had just done some work in that area right before our stay. Owner sent maintenance out right away and hey fixed the issue.

Our family of 14 went together for my 30th birthday and this home made it very easy to access all locations in Destin, Miramar and Panama! We loved walking right out to the beach and the swings in the mornings while doing devotions was our favorite. All of the updates made it feel like home! Mike was very easy to work with. Responds very quickly and so kind! We will be back for sure!

We Highly recommend the Sand dollar Unit 1 townhome. We just had our 1st vacation here and it was awesome. The owners were responsive to our needs and very friendly. We had plenty of room, it was clean and family friendly, and the outside showers with hot water were great! We look forward to many, many more stays here.

Over the years so many happy days, laughs and memories right here on the beach! Spacious and open, yet plenty of privacy in big bedrooms. Everything you need is here! Avoid the more packed beaches and have space to play here! Owners are responsive to needs and obviously take pride in this Unit 1. I’ve already booked my return and haven’t even left yet!

We had plenty of room for our entire party, loved the easy beach access and large deck. Unit is well stocked with the necessities, even had a highchair and baby gates for our grand baby. Owner very responsive to our needs. We definitely plan to stay again, really hated to leave

We have vacationed at this townhome for 15 years! It is a wonderful place. This area has the best beach in Destin!! The new owners, Mike and Carol, have done a great job upgrading this unit! It was also super clean when we arrived! If you are looking for the perfect place to make lasting family memories, this is it! I raised my kids vacationing here and now I get to bring my first grandbaby here (see pic). Mike and Carol are great to work with and I just know if you stay here you will love it as much as my family does!

This was our families 7t year staying at the Sandollar (out 2nd in unit 1) Unit 1 is beautiful, the location is unbeatable. No roads to cross, you just walk outside and you’re on the beach. The townhouse itself is spacious and clean with several upgrades. Having 2 central air units keeps the entire proper comfortable. The owners have several chairs and umbrellas available for use so you don’t have to rent them. The home was spotless upon arrival. You can’t go wrong staying here. Michael was very responsive and helpful. We wish definitely be staying here again!!

My Family and I had decided to spend our Thanksgiving in Florida. We had never done this before. I was lucky to find this beautiful Townhouse in Destin right on the Beach. I called Lynn and she was so helpful in helping me secure the reservation for the Holiday. We had the best time ever. It was everything we expected and more. We had 11 people and we did not feel crowded at all. The Townhouse was beautiful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The view was amazing from every room. When I show the pictures to my friends and co workers they are amazed at how nice the place was for the price we paid. I am so happy to have found this place. Dan and Lynn Fitzgerald were the best hosts. We have all said how we can not wait to go back. Thank you Dan and Lynn for the best Thanksgiving weekend ever. Can't wait to go back and use it again.

This was our 13th time renting this great townhome from Dan and Lynn Fitzgerald! That should be all you need to know! We would not be coming back year after year if these folks were not the best owners!! They improve their home every year and always keep it up to date and accommodating. Miramar Beach is the best place to stay in Destin and I should know because I have been vacationing in Destin for 20 years!! This townhome has everything you need for a great vacation!

This was a great condo and a wonderful location. We had 13 people and we had plenty of room. The condo is well stocked with everything you need from the kitchen supplies to the great beach toys and chairs. We loved the aspect of the private beach in front of the condo and the fact that it's an end unit. We were here for spring break and the beach in front of our condo was relax and not crowded at all. The owners are so helpful and prompt to respond with any questions. We look forward to staying here again. Highly recommended.

Barbara & I have stayed here multiple times and it is a great place to dip your toes in the sand and beach for a relaxing time. Great beach setting, love the views from deck.

We have stayed in this beautiful condo several times and have always had a wonderful time. The views of the beach are breathtaking. We even got to watch a stingray swim down the beach from the sunroom in the master bedroom. It is so peaceful! The decks are the perfect place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a nice glass of wine. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to enjoy some beautiful beach time in a beautiful home.

We have stayed at Dan and Lynn's place for about 7 or 8 years. We love it. They always keep everything up to date and are so willing to help with any needs we have . This is a great place to stay right on the beach. We never want to come home. We are already booked for this year. I always try to book the next year while we are there. Thanks Lynn and Dan

This townhouse and the owners are wonderful! We have been renting this property from the Fitzgerald family for 15 years and you will not find a more beautiful location in all of Destin! The owners keep this property updated and are very responsive if there is ever any problem. The beaches here are not crowded and the view is spectacular. My kids have literally grown up vacationing here and would not go anywhere else! We love this place and the Fitzgerald family!!

Patricia R.We chose this wonderful property for our family vacation this year. Our group of 12 was able to stay comfortably in the home and found it had everything we could possibly need. The proximity and access to the beach were a huge plus for us and despite Tropical Storm Cindy, we all had a wonderful time! We will definitely contact Ms. Lynn to stay in this townhouse the next time we are planning to visit Destin. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

I have had the pleasure of staying at this condo for years. It is a perfect setup for a large group. There are nice large decks on each level to enjoy the outdoors from the condo; there's a swing and an outside shower on the bottom, & floats & loungers down there, already at beach level. One of my favorite things is the top floor sunroom nook, perfect for quiet reading, that overlooks the beach with views for miles. The separate floors make it great for kids & adults to have their private times. We enjoy spending all day on the private sandy white beaches, walking on the beach to restaurants, watching fireworks from the balcony. It’s perfect for romance or for family cookouts and fun! I highly recommend this place, and the owners couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating.

This is our 3rd time staying in this beautiful home!! Lynn and Dan are fantastic to work with and very accommodating. This home has everything you can dream of to make your stay comfortable. We celebrated my 40th Birthday there this year and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this home to anyone who wants a clean, up to date, beautiful place to stay while they are in Destin!!!
