We have nothing negative to say about this property. The owners were always so quick to respond. We had no troubles throughout our week long stay. The place was immaculate when we arrived, the views were beyond amazing. It was everything our family needed, and more! We look forward to staying next year!

We loved our October stay at Sterling Shores #PH16! The condo has everything you could need and the VIEWS are to die for. It's across the street from The Back Porch for easy access to food and drinks on the beach. Also super close to Wal-Mart for groceries and supplies. The appliances are brand new, as well as the pull-out sofa and chair. Everything was great and made our Destin vacation amazing! Can't wait to come back!

PH16 was nice place to stay for short vacation. Great view from the balcony, clean rooms and fully equipped kitchen were all that we (4 adults) needed for three nights. The place itself is just a few steps to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay in Destin, particular due to the spectacular views we enjoyed from the property. Property management checked on us frequently to make sure everything was going well. The washer was damaged and could not be repaired during our stay, however, we were thoroughly informed of what was going on and also given a credit for the mishap. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Destin.

Great communication with the owners. We had some anxiety coming to Florida with covid, riots and then possible hurricane. We had people back out last minute and after talking to the owners decided to come on the trip and loved it. Thank you for making us feel safe!! Beautiful room with a amazing view. Great pool and location. Minutes from the beach. Literally walk thru pool area n thru other pool area n beach right there. Every morning out chairs where placed out on beach with our name in them!! Thank you again!!

The view was wonderful, as is the location. The property is well maintained. The unit had everything we needed for amenities. The owner was very responsive to any questions, and provided us lots of info about the area prior to our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was our first time in Destin and our first vacation with our 3 year old daughter. This penthouse condo was perfection. Felt like home. You can walk to the beach. The pool was perfect for our toddler- in fact prob her fav part. We will come back every year now!!

We booked our stay to visit family living in the Niceville area. The condo has spectacular views!! It is also very clean and well maintained. There were several rainy days, but we still managed to use the heated pool, beach chairs & grilled steaks by the pool. We’ll be back!

We could not have asked for a more fantastic week at the beach! The condo was extremely well furnished and comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony for our morning coffee and dinner taking in the amazing views. The owners were extremely easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. Welcome to Sterling Shores Penthouse #16!
This unit is on the top floor of Sterling Shores Resort, an 11 story, resort style gated condo facility. Super high ceilings! This unit is part of the Sterling Shores/Vacasa rental program which means you receive all of the services the resort provides. There is daily front desk service, so someone is available to answer your questions that might come up. The resort offers a beach side snack shack during summer months, and a large workout facility. There is private beach access and beach chair service of 2 chairs and an umbrella is included during March through November. Also available are kayak and paddle board rentals. Sterling Shores two pools (one of which is heated), a mushroom fountain and tot area, in-unit Jacuzzi tubs, and gas grills are available for your use. Wifi is included in the unit.
The master bedroom contains a king size bed with new mattress and bedding. It has a large private master bathroom with a jetted jacuzzi tub/shower combination. The guest bedroom has a lofted twin bunk bed, above a full size bed, also with a new mattress and bedding. It is attached to the main full bathroom. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV's.
There is a washer/dryer in the hallway closet. The living room has a queen size sofa sleeper, as well as a large TV, with HD cable and DVD player. There is a large balcony with amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico, with table, chairs and a couch lounger. The unit is fully furnished, with all the kitchen supplies provided.
From the balcony, you can see beautiful gulf views and we often see dolphins! You can see the popular restaurant, The Back Porch, from the balcony, which is great for beach side dining and entertainment. Sterling Shores is also very short walking distance to many stores, restaurants, and activities including The Back Porch, The CandyMaker, Ruth's Chris (great for happy hour), Jim & Nicks, Hooters, Joe's Crab Shack, Beall's, Wal-Mart, The Destin Track and Big Kahunas Water Park.
This is a great area for walking along the beach, whether you choose to walk for miles along the uninterrupted beach, or take a short walk down the beach to the undeveloped Henderson State Park. Sterling Shores is very centrally located in Destin. You can make a short drive or Uber ride to all the restaurants, bars and shops at HarborWalk Village. In the other direction, you have close access to the Crystal and Miramar Beach areas.
Posted rates INCLUDE Beach Service of two chairs and one umbrella each day from March 1 until November 29. Cleaning Fee, Damage Waiver and Taxes are additional and calculated with the quote.

We currently live in Denver, Colorado. Bob is from Florida, and Pam is from the midwest. We love to visit beach destinations every chance we get.
Pam & Bob Ludwig purchased this Condo in 2018. This is our second condo in Destin. Please contact us about availability of either condo.
AMAZING VIEWS!! We loved the amazing views from the penthouse units! And the bright beachy decor felt like home, as it was very similar to our first place in Destin. We love sitting on the balcony or beach and watching the dolphins play, the military air and water training exercises, the gorgeous views. After a day of working on the condo or relaxing at the beach, it's so nice to have a choice of places you can walk to.
The very popular Back Porch restaurant is next door, along with many other great restaurants, shopping and activities.
