We had the pleasure of spending a week here in May. Not only was the weather perfect, but so was the house and the amenities. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, the backyard pool, and the convenience of the golf cart. We love the location of the house - quiet community but close to everything! We did had two minor issues (one with the pool and one upon our arrival in the home) that Breann immediately responded to and resolved well beyond our satisfaction. I cannot recommend this house and Breann more! We will definitely stay here again!

We had the PERFECT vacation staying at this beach house in Destin. This home was in a prime location and we could walk to the beach in about 3 minutes. The is even a private gated beach entrance that you are allowed to use when staying in this community. A huge perk to avoid the crowds! We used the golf cart we rented directly from the hosts to get around everywhere. We were regulars at the Crab Trap durring our stay which was only a few minute cart drive from the house. The home is well stocked, clean, and has a nice open concept so everyone had plenty of time together while also having their own space. We will be back to visit the Cashmere Coconut again!

Now that we stayed at The Cashmere Coconut on Scenic Highway 98 we cannot imagine staying anywhere else on our vacations. All of the restaurants, shopping, and nightlife are just a short golf cart ride away, and we loved that the owners had the golf cart parked at the house and ready for our adventures when we arrived. Everyone in our family picked out their favorite restaurants and we felt like we really did get to experience the City of Destin and all it has to offer. Having kids at the beach all day can be a challenge, so we were so pleased that we could just walk back up to the house and spend the rest of the day hanging at the pool together. Our family gives this house a 10/10 as we had the best time on our trip and it exceeded our expectations!

Come Visit The Cashmere Coconut
Picture yourself poolside in this adorable 4.5 bed/3 bath home that sleeps up to 15. ***TWO of the Bedrooms are on the MAIN FLOOR! The Perfect Beach Getaway with the best amenities, including a private 26 x 13 pool as well as a community pool, Amazon Fire TV Stick & WiFi included. Street legal golf cart also available for rent and there is private beach access for fun in the Destin Sun.
"The Cashmere Coconut" is in a quaint neighborhood of Miramar Beach and the streets are lined with upscale luxurious beach cottages. This hot spot of Destin is probably the most sought after vacation location in the area. Scenic 98 curves past a unique blend of beach homes and hot spots like The Crab Trap -- a tourist favorite!
We offer a street legal battery powered golf cart at the property for rent to help you navigate the area without worrying about parking your car. If you choose to rent the golf cart it must be rented for your entire stay. Our cart is from Destin Golf Cart Rental and we use their seasonal rate structure. You must be 25 to lease and drive a street legal cart and an insurance lease agreement must be signed. We accept payment for the golf cart via a separate request.
You can walk to the beach in 3 minutes as we are only a block to the Private, Gated Beach Access which is one of the many luxuries of staying in this gorgeous neighborhood. During the busy season it may be best to rent chairs to be assured a great spot.
If you're looking for a larger public beach the next beach east, James Lee Public Park, is also very accessible. There you will find public restrooms and showers, The Crab Trap Restaurant and Bar, and a large public beach with parking for our golf cart.
It's easy to get back and forth from the beach to the house if you need to go back to freshen up your beverages, ice or use the facilities.
Nearby you will also find Destin Commons, an outdoor lifestyle center with restaurants, boutiques, Rave motion pictures and a Bass Pro Shop. It’s often the epicenter of Destin with outdoor musical productions, dog costume contests and fun activities for kids like dancing water fountains and a bungee trampoline.
