Azure, Fort Walton Beach, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

We just stayed at Gayla’s Okaloosa Island condo-Azure and had a great time. It is beautifully decorated and very spacious for 6 people. The unit’s patio is right off (6 steps) from the heated pool and our kids were in heaven. The unit has a huge pantry which was wonderful for our 4 kids’ snacks. We felt comfortable keeping our beach wagon on the porch overnight without worrying someone was going to walk away with it. Gayla has some great pool floaties/beach items on the porch. Our stay was during a heat wave and the unit was long enough (35- 16 inch tiles worth) for me to walk in the air conditioning to get exercise while we waited for the sun to set. Gayla responded quick to an inquiry we had upon our arrival and was an excellent host. The beds were very comfortable and it was the best condo we have stayed in so far. One head’s up: if you have a tall vehicle (we have an Odyssey mini van with a clam shell on top) that is more than 7 feet you are limited to parking on the main level of the parking garage. Unfortunately, there are really only a couple spots for tall vehicles and it was luck of the draw each day if we were able to get a spot. Victor, the awesome Azure manager on duty advised us he would make any small cars move if they were taking up a tall spot. Overflow tall parking is 2 communities down in Summer Place. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we came back to the area. It’s an amazing unit with a great host.

Gayla is amazing. Always answers our questions quickly. The condo is exactly like the pics. The kitchen has everything you would need, lots of pots and different sizes, crock pot, coffee pot and keurig, wine glasses. The ease of access to the pool and beach is wonderful. Very family friendly. The beach is NOT crowded. The pool is always clean. This is our 2nd year staying in the same condo..Thank you Gayla for sharing your home with us..

This place is wonderful. Love the space, easy access to the parking and pool. No elevators so no waiting. Everything you need for the week. Gayla was wonderful with answering questions. No crowds on the beach and only 10 minutes from Destin if you so choose to travel. We enjoyed our stay and we have booked again for Summer 2019. Looking forward to our stay. What a beautiful condo! It was very clean and spacious, plenty of room for everyone. Love the open floor plan and the beach decor throughout. We were happy to find a condo on the ground floor, which made it so much easier to walk to the pool or beach. Great location for shopping, activities and restaurants. The sunsets are gorgeous too! I found the prefect place to celebrate my 60th bday with friends and family! Gayla, (the owner), answered all of our questions quickly and was very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this property!

The BEST vacation we have every year. We have had a reunion here with family from out of state for the last four years and we will go again. We always have the most wonderful time! The condo is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. Everything you could need. The ground floor access is great and proximity to the beach could not be any better. Thank you for sharing this lovely place with us!

My husband and I took a week to get away from our normal busy lives and stayed here to simply rest, spend some alone time together and enjoy the sun and sand. This is an amazing home. Very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, ground floor, convenient covered parking. We will stay in this home again. Wanda

This condo was the best. It was nice being on the ground floor to be able to walk right out to the pool. I loved that it had 2 king beds! It was also the best stocked kitchen of any condo that we have stayed at in Florida. The only thing I would change about it is I wish the curtains in the master bedroom were thicker, room darkening. I like a darker room to sleep. The room itself was absolutely beautiful!

The condo is absolutely beautiful.  Well stocked and very clean,  The beach and pool are just steops away from the back door,
Our stay would have been PERFECT except for the fact that Tropical Storm Cindy paid us a visit.  Even so, the waves were
BEAUTIFUL.  We were still a ble to use the pool daily so the kiddos were entertained.  Gayla was wonderful with communication!
We would definitely stay here again!

This was our 3rd time staying at this condo and we are still in love with the place! Gayla did a fantastic job redecorating the condo to make it feel even more beachy. It is clean, well maintained, and you cannot get better service and communication from any owner. My husband and I have been staying at Azure twice a year since it opened and this is by far THE BEST condo for the price. It is so convenient to have the pool, spa and beach just a few steps away. I highly recommend renting this property!
