Our family of 6, 2 adults, 4 young kids really enjoyed this beautiful condo. It was VERY clean and well maintained, and everyone had their own bed, which was great for sleeping arrangements after a long day at the gorgeous Ft Walton Beach. We couldn't get enough of the huge balcony with incredible views and spent most of our time that we were actually in the condo, out there! We spotted dolphins in the morning and loved seeing all the people crab hunting at night. It was a great condo for us first timers to the area, and we will definitely be back. The few improvements I would suggest is maybe some blackout shades, especially in the bunk bed room; the morning sun woke my little guys up pretty early each morning. And also, the kitchen knives, they were pretty bad, I tried to cut up a watermelon and had to toss it because there wasn't a sharp enough knife to use. But small issues! It was a wonderful place for our family, and we made some lifelong memories in a week that flew by too fast!

Welcome to Gulf Dunes Resort, unit 413. (new photos coming soon - see "upgrades" below). This elegant 3 bedroom condominium, with its beach front balcony ocean view, may be perfect for your family. The fifth floor elevation provides seemingly endless views to the east and west along Okaloosa Island. This Gulf Dunes vacation beach rental provides enough space for 8-10 comfortably. Flat Screen TV's in each room make it easy to relax.
The living room adjoins the beach side balcony, which also overlooks the pool. The sofa and chair will seat 4 comfortably with additional nearby seating at the dining table. Carpeted flooring makes a comfortable place for the kids to play. A sizable flat screen TV with digital cable provides entertainment for the whole family.
The master bedroom, as with most Gulf Dunes units, has a king bed, dresser, tv, walk in closet and access to the private master bathroom. The bedroom adjoins the beach front balcony. The bathroom has a double vanity, tub/shower combo, and toilet.
The guest bedroom features a queen bed and full bed, and nearby is the 3rd bedroom which features a set of bunk beds, small dresser, and TV.
Gulf Dunes Resort offers guests a getaway experience with spacious tropical grounds, sea dunes, tennis courts, grill area, two pools (one heated October thru March), and ample parking. The beach access does require navigation of stairs as you traverse the sand dunes. The beaches of Okaloosa Island are as pure white as beaches get. The sugary soft sand is found nowhere else in North America, attracting visitors from all areas of the world. Wade in the crystal clear water of the Gulf of Mexico. This stretch of beach is part of Florida's Emerald Coast, stretching from Panama City to Pensacola.
Gulf Dunes is near many of Destin's attractions, such as Destin Harbor, outlet shopping, and many other outdoor activities. Para sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, go carting, jet skis, dolphin tours, bungee jumping, and water parks are just some of what Destin has to offer.
This unit is professionally managed, which ensures that you will receive friendly, professional service from reservation to departure. Your vacation accommodations will be clean and functional. We are local and provide same day assistance, and If you need anything during your stay, you can be assured that our courteous staff will be happy to assist you in any way.

This property is available for occupancy. Your health and safety are our top priorities and concern. That is why we are implementing a rigorous cleaning regimen specifically targeted to clean and disinfect our property against Coronavirus with special emphasis on all high touch areas in our rooms and common areas. All bed linens, bath, and kitchen towels are sanitized and changed between guests. We ask all guests to exercise social distancing and preventative practices while in and on this property.
