This condo was perfect for our sister trip with the grandkids. We were able to sit on the patio and watch the kids in the pool. The owners were very nice and took care everything. We will definitely stay here again.

Condo was super clean and just as described. They have lots of extra amenities if you are traveling with children. Access to pool/ and beach couldn’t be beat when needing to grab a snack/ use the bathroom/ or taking items to the beach. On the down side of that if you like to have privacy to sit out at night or in the morning you normally don’t get any because of the steady flow of people, but for use we found it not to be a problem and enjoyed the easy access to everything. Weather wasn’t the greatest while we where in Florida this time around which caused the beach to not allow swimming for a couple days due to safety. The beach is beautiful. but even when unable to swim they did allow safe play on the shore line. There are life guards that patrol the beach and we witnessed 3 times they where called out to rescue people who got too risky and went out too far. The storm caused the pool and hot tub to break:-( They had the hot tub back up and running in 1 day and the pool up in 2 days. Both of these areas are cleaned daily and kept very maintained. We would definitely return in the future and appreciated the wonderful communication with the property owner and manager.

Wow! What a fantastic condo. It had EVERYTHING we could have needed for our stay. I love how this is so close to the pool and hot tub. With kids running in & out all day this was so handy being right there. I thought I would miss the view from the balcony but the convenience outweighed that X10! You won’t regret staying here. It has been a month and I’m ready to go back!

We have been to IP many time throughout the years with our family. This condo is our favorite! We wish we could stay a month! Wonderful condo, amazing beach & if there is an issue they are quick to respond.

After reviewing previous reviews, there is very little I can add. The condo was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. One of the highlights would be the great communication and service that was provided to us by Casey. She kept us informed and answered all of our questions plus, was very helpful. One of the biggest benefits that might have been left out was the closeness to several restaurants that were handy for the family and of course excellent food. We hope to return.

This condo was immaculate! My husband and I vacation with family and friends twice a year and we’ve been to many places up and down the Florida coast, the Island Princess unit 106 was far and away our best experience yet. It was decorated so cute, perfectly clean, many thoughtful little touches throughout. It had the perfect location on the ground floor right near the hot tub and steps to the beach. We will absolutely be back.

The unit was great and couldn’t be more conveniently located on this property. There was construction going on so that did hamper the stay a good bit but that was out of control if the owners. Couldn’t use the patio but we imagine it would be great. Great unit if you want a ground floor one!

The Henderson condo was so beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and hated to leave. It’s the perfect location, right next to the pool and beach and was beautifully decorated!! Thank you for having us!

This condo was perfect for our family! Ideally situated poolside with the closest access to the beach. Well-stocked condo and nicely decorated. It made for a great vacation — we’ll surely be back!

My family has been coming to Ft Walton for 8 years now, this was the first time staying in this condo and certainly not the last! This condo was by far our favorite! The owners had this condo fully stocked with anything imaginable from cookware all the way to beach/pool toys! It was very clean and welcoming! The convenience of being on the first floor, just steps away from the beach/pool made everyday that much more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone! We look forever to returning! Thank you so much for taking the best care of your tenants! Also, communication with Casey was very easy and open, like talking to someone I had known for a long time!! Job well done to all!!

This condo far exceeded any expectations that you may have. Where do I start! First, the communication with the owners is wonderful. They are so willing to answer any questions and help in any way possible. Second, the condo is by far the cleanest and most well stocked of any I have visited in my many years of travel. Third, the location of the condo to the pool and ocean can not be beat. Fourth, just go for it and book the condo you will not regret it. This was one of the best vacations we have experienced in years. Thanks for letting us enjoy your fabulous condo!!

This place sold me on staying on the first floor with kids! So convenient to let the kids play on the patio while everyone has breakfast and gets sunscreen on for the day. So easy to just head to the pool and come back for meals/naps. The beach being so close with chairs, umbrella, toys, floats, and towels all provided allowed us to spend more time enjoying the trip rather than all the packing and setup! The condo itself has such a great layout for two couples with a handful of toddlers, we still had plenty of space! And it really has everything you need…if you’re like me and still think you’re gonna need TP and paper towels, forget it-they’ve already got you covered! They have really thought of it all!! I mean being able to wash a load of clothes before returning home was a dream when it came to unpacking. Fort Walton is a quiet but fun little area that’s not too crowded but still has all the “things to do” close by! We hope to be able to return soon! Places we ate nearby: The Shack, Al’s beach club burger bar (right on the beach with a fun vibe, music, dancing, kid friendly!, on the board walk for shopping and ice cream after), Tailfins in Destin, also the Gulf and FUBAR Pizza were cool places to eat on the bay side. Things we did: night crab hunting on the beach (there are nets provided too!), sunset dolphin cruise in Destin, and paddleboarding with the same company who sets the chairs up (such nice guys!) Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach/pool vacay, a fun adventure filled vacay, or a mix of both (that’s what we did); this is the place to stay!!!

I am a 6-decade beach lover and have stayed in many condos through the years. This one is my favorite by far! The colors are warm, welcoming and beachy. The furnishings updated and still comfy. All the extras are here...plenty of kitchen ware, upgraded and fluffy towels, hand, laundry and dish soaps, dream-worthy beds and so clean! WOW. Add all of that to stepping out the sliding glass door being just a few small steps to the hot tub & pool....and a few more until my feet are in the sand! It just can't be beat! This was my first time to be here "off season", so I can't wait to return when the days are warm. Our family will welcome the convenience of no elevators and a short walk with coolers to the beach. 5+ stars! The owners have outdone themselves on earning our return! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

I have stayed in this condo multiple times. First when Julie owned it and now since Henderson’s own it. Nothing has changed like I was worried it would when switching hands. The new owners were amazing to work with. The condo is perfect for our family and has enough room it allows us to bring my in laws with us. The location can not be beat and their condo is fully stocked with everything you would need and more. We absolutely love it and will continue to come here year after year building memories with our children. We are asked daily by our children when we get to go back!

Great Family condo!!! Everything was perfect from being close to the pool and hot tub to being steps from the beach!! Kim was fabulous to work with. We’ve already booked next years trip.

This place is the most family friendly situated condo! It is located right next to the pool and the beach access. We would roll out of bed and onto the beach literally every day. The beach was not super crowded at all. And after a long day at the beach, our family would rinse off our beach gear and conveniently drop it off at the gated porch area and go for a swim until dinner time. We loved the location! The condo itself was beautifully decorated and fully stocked! It had everything (and then some) you could possibly need (beach towels, extra rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap etc.). We honestly loved staying here and it was super memorable for our entire family! Thanks Kim for allowing us to stay at this wonderful oasis! 

What a perfect beach destination! We just recently got back from our Spring Break stay (3/29/21-4/3/21) with the family. We are a family of 5, (2 boys, 1 girl). Here are our call outs: Condo: it was very clean and all of the furnishings looked brand new, also, it was amazingly decorated, well equipped, plenty of room for all 5 of us! Julie and Ron obviously take great pride in keeping this place as if it were their daily home and not some random investment property left to a management company. Location: For us, the location on Okaloosa Island was exactly what we wanted. We were not constantly bombarded with crowds and traffic of Destin, but were close enough that we went most everyday for dinner or activities. The location of the unit within the property was also SPOT ON. With having kids that are 13, 11 and 10 we were perfectly situation on the ground floor, next to the pool and just yards away from the beach. The wife and I could easily relax on the patio or inside the unit and still hear or quickly see the kids if needed. Customer Service: only once during our stay was there any issues that needed resolved. This was a mix up with the beach set up and nothing within the control of Ron or Julie. That said, one quick phone call and Julie was on it. Within and hour, the mix up was resolved and corrected beyond our expectations. Bottom line, we travel a lot and stay in rented condos such as this 99% of the time. This is by far at the very top of the list and hits on all of our key needs and likes. I can undoubtedly say that when we return to this area we will be staying here again! You can't go wrong. 

Walking through the door of this condo and you feel like you've walked into you own home! The colors are beautiful, the decor is perfect and you have a feeling of love and warmth.

My Family of 4 and my Parents felt very much at home and there was more than enough room with extremely comfortable amenities. I very much appreciated the fact there was a large assortment of cooking accessories as our family does a lot of cooking at home. Add the fact the kitchen has a huge counter top and bench bar area and we had the perfect setup for making memories with food and fun.

Also, since we have an infant child the fact the condo had multiple high-chairs and pack-n-play there was invaluable.

Just out the back door is the extra large patio and instant access to the pool and beach. It's literally about 20 steps to the beautiful white sand beaches!

The owners have gone through great measures to ensure your stay is a wonderful experience and they also just seem like wonderful people who genuinely care about their guest . I can't recommend this home enough!

love being right by the pool—beach was near too 

I love ocean views so I was skeptical at first with this being 1st floor. But... this home is gorgeous and I couldn't have asked for a better location. Even tho we couldn't see the ocean from the first floor, it was absolutely amazing to be able to walk out of the sliding glass doors and be at the pool and a few steps from the beach. The home is in wonderful condition and kept up nicely. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The owners.... wonderful people. I feel like Julie and I have know each other for years!!! We will definitely be renting this condo on our next trip to Fort Walton Beach. As far as I'm concerned, there is no better option!!! Thank you for making our vacation even more enjoyable by allowing us to stay in this beautiful home!!! 

I can tell you that this condo is probably our favorite one so far!!! We were impressed with your condo and all it offered! You go above and beyond making sure EVERYTHING was provided, especially for children. We had a 3 and 1 yr old with and being on the ground floor, right next to the pool, was perfect!!! The condo was super clean and updated. Also, Julie checked in on us to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything...and to tell us where the fireworks were going to be!! Perfect host for a perfect condo!! Our family will be back!!! Thank you Julie and Ron for a great July 4th week!!! 

WOW! All the other reviews are spot on! I can only add that you will not meet nicer people to rent from. We had twin 18-month granddaughters and a five y.o. with us. So, we really appreciated the huge toy basket full of great toys and the collection of books. There were TWO high chairs and and even pool toys available. BTW, we have always taken our own hand/body, dishwasher, and laundry soap when renting from VRBO, and even though we used our own, we found that Ron and Julie go above and beyond to provide for all your needs. I should also mention that we noticed and appreciated the high quality hand soaps and lotions. Nice touch ! We've already booked next year!

What an awesome week our family enjoyed at the Faulk's home! It truly felt like we were just at home...comfy beds, clean surroundings, beach towels, plenty of beach toys, convenient parking spot, well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer included, easy access to pool and ocean, etc. The only thing missing was view of ocean from our condo, but we knew that going into it and chose convenience with toddlers over view. Thanks for a great beach vacation! 

O.K....that said....I DON'T WRITE REVIEWS!! so, I take key board to hand, to report a GREAT place to stay!!! We have been going to the Destin/Ft Walton area since 1975. We have owned a condo, and we have rented. From San Destin to Ft Walton. I'm not buying this condo(haha), but I know "pride of ownership" when I see it. Owners provide a nice place, with many features that typically seem not to be expected anymore...All the way from the beach service, to the maid service!! It appears to be a team effort....baby items are also a nice touch, as are the remaining "little" items, like dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, and coffee filters(don't even get me started about the t.p.)...these items, while not deal changer, indicate the care taken by the cleaning staff, as well as the owners....I enjoyed my stay, and my granddaughter said " it was the best place she has ever stayed"....she is 4 year old....but I trust her judgment....
