Staying at Okaloosa Island/Ft Walton was beautiful. The condo was nice, having plenty of space for our grown kids, husband and myself. This was our first visit to the area and we loved the blue waters, white sand and beach vibe. Kim was helpful with suggestions and very accommodating with questions. We loved the 3 bedrooms/3-bathroom option and the condo was clean and comfy. The balcony was a fave with gorgeous views along with many dolphin sightings. Jake was super friendly and ready to get our chairs daily with the best service ever! I recommend renting with Kim and we are excited to plan our next trip here again.

From the very first inquiry about the place, Kim went above and beyond to help make our stay the most enjoyable it could be! As far as location, it’s the best! It’s easy to get to from the main road, it’s beach walking distance to the pier and food, and it’s right on the beach. I love that Summer Place’s pool is beach side, and that there is ample walkin and sitting space around the pool. Summer Place is well kept and clean! 602 was an ideal location to stay in. The balcony protrudes out further than the ones around it, giving it an even better view! Kim’s place was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and very spacious. I never felt on top of each other. The kitchen has every pot, pan, utensil, and storage space you’re gonna need! The fact that the unit came with 2 setups was SUCH a nice perk!! I would absolutely stay here again!!

We recently stayed in Kim's 602 Condo. As always it was PERFECT! We have stayed in several of Kim's condo's, and they have never disappointed. She is very attentive and makes sure that your stay is everything you hoped for. The 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas' make it especially nice to enjoy the beautiful water. All in all, we had a perfect week and can't wait to return to Kim's condo's soon.

Each year we come to summer Place for our girls trip!! It’s great! We come in may and the weather is just perfect! The condo is fabulous! Has everything you need and always is updated and super nice! Love to have breakfast on the patio! We been coming for many years and have never been disappointed. Kim makes sure everything is taken care of and she’s always available if you need something. Ft Walton is only 5 miles from Destin and we like the vibe of ft Walton. Quiet and less crowded! We have found many new restaurants or we ride into destin some days for dinner. We also lOVE having the umbrellas and chairs out for us each day!!
You're right that once you find Okaloosa Island, you're spoiled forever!

Kim was absolutely an amazing host, we ran into an issue with our booked condo and we were in need of a new place. Kim was so kind and explained everything about her condo, stayed up late to make sure we got checked in ok after a long day of driving with 3 kids. The condo was everything we needed! 3 beds/3 baths was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and The condo is so well appointed with everything you will need for vacation. Last, but not least the views are wonderful, top floor of the building with gorgeous views of the beach and swimming pools. Jake with the beach service was very attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back as this is a perfect location and Kim was the best host. Now, all that is left is for anyone reading this review to go and book Kim’s condo and have a wonderful vacation!

Our family was extremely pleased with this wonderful unit. Kim, the owner, was so easy to work with and made the booking process very simple. She was very friendly and responsive to inquiries. Her unit is well cleaned & well furnished with everything we needed. Plenty of bath linens, comfy beds & nice kitchen essentials. The 3bed/3bath arrangement was perfect for our group. Of course the location cannot be beat! Great beach front & walkable to several restaurants. Asiago Skillet is a must for breakfast/brunch & Stewby’s Seafood is always great for lunch or dinner! We will definitely be looking forward to our next stay at this amazing place!

The unit was immaculate when we arrived! And it is in a great location - so convenient to everything! It had everything we needed and the beach, pools, and hot tub were great. The attendant was very helpful and watched the weather for us and had our chairs ready just like we wanted everyday. And the owner was so easy to work with. She was very responsive and gracious. This is our new family favorite and we will definitely come back!

This was our first trip to the Destin area and to do it in the middle of a pandemic was definitely interesting. What I can say is that the experience we had was absolutely wonderful. The owner's communication was exceptional before we came down. She quickly answered our multiple questions on everything from the unit, to the their cleaning method, to some great recommendations for local food (and afterwards helping us get back something that we accidentally left there). The unit itself was very clean and exactly as advertised with beautiful views and lots of room for our group (and having three bathrooms was REALLY nice). Having the gas grills on-site was also a very nice bonus as we cooked in a lot! The beach chairs and umbrellas being included and set-up for us each day in the same place was SO nice and the attendants were very friendly and incredible working with us to ensure we were able to socially distance ourselves. Would definitely come back and stay here again if we come back to the area!

We just recently returned a few weeks ago and had a good time. We have stayed in summer place before but this was the first time in this condo. Very clean and neat. We had plenty of space and storage for everything. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. My husband and I stayed in the master suite which was very nice but we are used to a soft bed so we did not sleep too well. Overall it was a great stay with no complaints. Highly recommend for a family!

This was my family's first trip to the Destin area. We were very happy with the Okaloosa Island location of this condo compared to the crowded, congested Destin area. However, we were still close enough to make the 7-10 minute drive to Destin for dinner and attractions. The beach and ocean were the most beautiful I've EVER seen, and my husband and I have traveled to a lot of beaches over the years! The condo had absolutely everything we needed with amazing balcony views. We are definitely returning and staying at this Summer Place 602 condo!

Summer Place 602 is a large 3 bdrm and 3 bath condo redecorated in December, 2022! Our penthouse views are the best in the building and our large, private patio is the ideal place to watch the country's most beautiful sunsets -- trust me that when you see one, you'll agree. This unit is the perfect vacation home -- amazing Jameson beds, 600 thread count linens, a well equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a family meal while watching the emerald waters of the Gulf, TVs in every room with an eye popping 60 inch Smart TV in the spacious living room, and so much more. It's a consistent favorite with our guests and we're convinced that once you see it, you'll want to come back again and again!
Our gulf front living room has lots of seating for your family/friends with 2 couches and a comfortable chair. You can read or talk while enjoying the ocean views or watch the game on our new 60 inch Smart TV or you may choose a video from our collection for a family movie night.
The master bedroom has a king bed and perfect views of the water and the sunsets. There is a large private bath with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. Our mattresses and sheets are heavenly!
The second bedroom features 2 new queen beds with Jameson mattresses and luxurious sheets, a TV, and a private bath with tub and shower.
Our third bedroom has a private bath and a great king bed with the same high end mattress and sheets as our other bedrooms. We believe that a great vacation starts with a great night's sleep!
We have a full sized washer and dryer in our condo and we provide laundry detergent if you'd like to throw in a load of clothes. My motto is always pack light. :)
Our kitchen has great counter space and is well stocked for cooking. We have stainless steel pots and pans, baking dishes, mixing bowls, cookie sheets and muffin pans and pizza pans, a crock pot and more. Our coffee maker is high end complete with a timer so it's ready when you are and a stainless carafe for keeping a pot of coffee warm for mornings on the patio. I've done my best to anticipate your all your needs and most of your wants! My goal is to have you return to our place again and again.
For parents with little ones, we have a pack and play, a highchair, a booster seat, and a baby monitor so you can relax on the balcony in the evenings!
Summer Place has 2 large beachfront pools as well as a hot tub. We also have the only beachfront grilling and picnic area on the island. Our wide beaches are the most beautiful you'll find with sugar white sand and views forever.
