A227-Ground Floor-Outside View, Fort Walton Beach, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

This was our first time staying at Waterscape. Since traveling with two toddlers, it was super convenient having the wagon, pack n play, high chair, beach chairs and umbrella all right there available in the room upon arrival! Although Danica's rooms are more expensive and caused me to hesitate prior to booking, it is completely worth the extra expense in my opinion. The room actually smelled clean upon arrival and was one of the cleanest condos I've ever stayed in. Cleanliness is a huge concern for me and I felt completely comfortable in this room. My only complaint was that the room we had didn't have a view of the ocean from the balcony (which I knew upon renting, just didn't realize how much I would miss it). AND it was a longer walk than I would have liked to the beach. There are ALOT of amenities in between the beach and the room and they are super convenient and amazing for the kiddos, but that causes your walk to the beach to be longer. Would absolutely stay here again and just get a room closer to the beach next time. Staying with Danica though is a MUST!!! We stayed in room A227 and was right next to the Kiddie Splash Pad area!

This was my first time booking a vacation without my family and with a toddler. We had the best time. Check in and out was so easy. Walking into the unit I could feel my stress and anxiety melt away. The room smelled amazing had some fun music playing that me and the toddler (20 months old) danced to. We immediately changed and went swimming. The kids area was so much fun we got to relax and Trace got to run and play and get all of his energy out before dinner. Waterscape was so clean and beautiful and Danica made sure everything was so simple and stress free.

We had a wonderful stay in A227! Our unit was clean and being so close to the parking garage made it very convenient to unload and load all of our luggage (with 4 kids, that is a lot!). Danica was very easy to work with and always responded quickly! The grocery delivery prior to our stay was sooo nice!!! Also free beach service, wagon and beach chairs/umbrella and beach toys in room were a huge bonus!! We would 100% book with Danica again in the future!!

Danica has gone above and beyond with entities in this condo. From the shower heads to the most comfortable beds you have laid your head on. Just steps from the first splash pad to the first adult pool. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and I’m looking forward to next year already

This is our 5th time to waterscape and 2nd time staying in one of Danica’s condos. We were there for a week and stayed 7 nights in a “Vacasa condo.” We weren’t ready to leave and I texted Danica asking if she had one night available in one of hers so we could extend another day. Luckily she did and I literally could have kicked myself for not booking our other one through her for the week. Only reason we went through Vacasa was because we had a large group and wanted them all in a row. Her condos make the others look like super 8 motels. Just like the first time we stayed with her when we walked in we were greeted with beachy music playing on the iPods, lamps and lights on ready for us, the cleanest condo you can imagine. We were a little panicked thinking about checking out of one and wait time for the other but NOPE! Danica got us in at 8am! My kids walked in and said “man I wish we had this condo all week!” The beds were more comfortable than mine at home. Her kitchens literally come with every utensil and bakeware there is. Never have I ever had a crockpot in a condo. We got to go ahead and pack our beach chairs and toys in the car because she has it all! The sand umbrella she provided saved our life because we didn’t want to run down there and reserve up close chairs. Everything was perfect and so clean but the absolute best part is coming. At checkout you can donate your unwanted food. I literally feel horrible when we leave and I have to throw perfectly good food out because we can’t fit it all in cooler. To know it was being donated made my day. Can’t wait to book with her again next year even if that means my friends will be in the super 8 Vacasa condos way down the hall. 🫣🫣😂😂😂

We loved everything about Unit A227 at Waterscape. Danica was the perfect host and her condo is just perfect! It literally had everything we needed for a stress free beach vacation. We didn't have to pack everything we owned to make it thru the week because the condo came with all the things we needed plus a lot of little extras! We can't wait to come back. I think we have found our favorite new place!

Danica was a tremendous host with excellent communication before and during our stay. The first day I messed up and locked myself out of the room and she responded immediately to help get me back in. My wife and I had our 15,9,7,3, and 1 year old on A227 and they all had a blast. The room was just a short walk to the toddler area that the 1 and 3 year old really enjoyed. The 7 and 9 year old loved the pool with the lily pads the best, and the 15 year old loved the beach and hot tubs the most. We had one minor issue with the bathroom fan being abnormally loud and no way to turn off since it is automatic with the humidity. Danica sent a maintenance person the next day and had the noise from the fan decreased and it was so much quieter. The room was very clean! The whole condo was also very kid friendly. We didn’t have to worry too much about the 1 and 3 year old breaking things since everything was pretty kid proof. There were tons of toys for the kids to take to the beach that Danica provides in a big toy box along with extra beach chairs to take to the beach. Waterscape is a very family friendly environment. We enjoyed meeting and talking to other families at the pool and beach. This was our second time staying in A227 and had another wonderful experience.

The condo was so nice! Clean, and decorated beautifully but not so much as to worry about young children breaking things. Kitchen had everything you needed as far as utensils, dishes and cookware. Even a crockpot and a blender and 2 different coffee makers. I made strawberry daiquiris! Lots of things for children to do and they loved the bunk room! Can't wait to come back in warmer weather. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Stewby's for the best seafood in town (I'm a local), FUBAR Pizza was very good!! Asiago's for breakfast was also surprisingly good. Danica provides a great experience and she cares. She or her crew were always available but we never had any complaints.

The condos managed by Danica are a step above the others condos we have rented. She has better decor, linens, and stocks an organized kitchen with all necessities, Her deluxe beach package is a plus too. Great communication. We’ll be back again soon.

This is our third time renting at Waterscape and have gone through Danica!! Give the condo a big 5!! Well equipped kitchen we only ate breakfast and lunch most days there and all the suggestions Danica sent we went and had great food!! Our first year without renting a car and was able to walk everywhere!! Waterscape is a great place to stay and great family environment!!

We stayed during fall break. The weather was great first two days but rained the last two. We love it here. Easy beach access, nice people. Great for families. Danica is wonderful. She makes you feel like her guest and takes very good care. Her condos are clean and well decorated. If you come to Waterscape, book through her.

Hi Guys! This is a note from Danica here. I received this email from a guest that I wanted to incorporate into a review. It was a reminder for me that you never know what someone has gone through when they end up on the phone with me looking for a last minute rental. This was a local guest with some electrical issues, who I did go a little out of the way to acommodate at the last minute. I had no idea all this other stuff was happening. Look at her sweet message to me.

Just extra useless info really but backstory on how the weekend started. My older daughter had to be checked out of school Friday and taken to urgent care because she had an extremely high fever. Thankfully it went away and she is okay! Shortly after we got her home from that I then had to take my younger daughter to the emergency room because my mom accidentally popped her elbow out of socket. At the time we thought it might've been her shoulder because she was not moving her arm at all, but after x-rays, we realized that again thankfully it was just her elbow and was easily fixed and she is okay! And then, as we got close to time to pack and head to your lovely condo, our 7 year old pit Sadie got really lethargic and her mouth was swollen and she wouldn't eat or drink water so she had to go to the emergency vet. She had to get 3 shots; steroids, benadryl, and a nausea medicine, and then they gave her a liquid iv. She has to have a follow up appointment with her regular vet to have tests run for mass cell tumors. So with all of that happening between 12 pm and 8 pm on friday and you saving our butts last minute to have a place to stay. You also provided us with a place of peace, a place of pure serenity. The amenities were more than up to par in my opinion. We had everything we needed and then some. The feeling as though we were in a paradise, just got so much greater when we took the girls out to do anything. KyLee, 6 years old and Kimberlee, 18 months old, there was something for them to do everywhere outside. EVERY single pool was kid friendly and I have to say that was one of my favorite parts. Aside from watching the sunset on the beach before bed, who doesn't love that? Even though our weekend started a complete S#!T S#OW, you gave us our peace back.

Needless to say you have gained a FOREVER renter. For any and all future vacation needs you will be our point of contact without a doubt. Just for fun here is a picture of the girls Sunday night having the best vacation a little girl could have.

I can't say enough good things about our stay in Danica's condo at Waterscape. She has the hosting gig down to a science - she really thinks of everything. Her condo was very clean and fully stocked with everything a family would need for their vacation. Our unit came with beach chairs, umbrella, tons of beach toys and floats, beach wagon, pack and play, high chair, comfortable beds, tons of kitchen items, and she labels everything which is so helpful when you're in a new place. Waterscape itself is a wonderful family vacation spot with zero entry pools that make swimming with little ones so much easier, but renting from Danica takes the resort to another level. Danica is available to provide additional services like grocery shopping, shuttles, great articles on nearby restaurants and things to do, boat rentals, party decorations, etc. It would be so easy to fly to this beach since Danica provides everything you need, and that's saying a lot coming from someone who normally packs a ridiculous amount of things to make sure we have what we need. One neat thing about the property is it is close to an Air Force Base which meant we saw dozens of fighter jets flying over while we were on the beach, and there is also a free Air Force Armament Museum close by that was a huge hit with our family. The beach at Waterscape is very nice. The sand doesn't get overly hot, and there is a sandbar not too far from shore that creates an area between it and the shore in the ocean where it is calm and easy for little kids to swim. If you don't plan on spending all your time on the beach or at the amazing pools, there is plenty to do nearby whether you walk or drive. Booking a vacation at Waterscape is a good idea, but booking through Danica is an even better idea! I can't imagine that any other owner could provide a better experience.

This is not the first year we’ve rented from Danica and definitely won’t be the last. We’ve really been spoiled by her hospitality. All the extra little touches she leaves for her guests, the beach music playing when we arrive. The whole experience never disappoints. Waterscape has been our go to for the past 4-5 years and I don’t see us changing our spot anytime soon, the grandsons are obsessed with the lazy river and pools. The newly updated workout room saved me from Running in the heat a couple of mornings! Can’t wait til next year!

Danica is so attentive and super responsive. When we arrived there were buckets for each of the kids with their names on them. I loved the fact that I was able to reach out to her for anything.

Easiest and most enjoyable trip to Waterscape. Our unit was in tip top shape. Great experience all the way around.

When looking for a condo you never know what you’ll walk into. It could look exactly like pictured or it could be the worst thing you could ever imagine. With Danica it’s more than pictured. It’s above and beyond expectations. Not only is she extremely kind and inviting, she’s there for all the things. The condo was sparkling clean, well stocked and so inviting. Room A227 was a great room for me, my wife, and 4 children (plus baby). It was conveniently located by the parking garage and a short walk to the kids pool play area. We never had to use the elevator unless we took the wagon to the beach then we used it to get the wagon down to the first level. Room was very clean, spacious, plenty of bathrooms for my family. It was great to have a kitchen with a Publix less than 1 mile away. I went to Publix several times for groceries and we cooked instead of eating out a lot. There are also several grills by the pool to use. We grilled hot dogs one night. My family had a blast on the beach and in all the pools. My 14 year old really liked the hot tubs, too. We look forward to returning. Danica was a fabulous host. Her communication skills are 100%!

This was a spur of the moment girls trip and it was everything I could have asked for! Danica was an amazing host and so helpful. Her condo was beautiful, clean, and organized! We can't wait to come back.

We loved our stay at Waterscape! The condo is huge and was so clean. Danica even gave us a personalized tote bag upon check in! We had one minor issue with our keypad and she was quick and attentive to fix the issue. Our kids loved the entire resort and we can't wait to return!

I cannot recommend Danica and her properties at waterscape enough! Our unit was spotless upon arrival, nice little personal gift waiting on us. She kept in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Gave us recommendations for places to eat and visit. The location was perfect. No view of the gulf but I knew that going in. She has many other units available with gulf views. We stayed in unit a227. So a quick walk around the corner and you are at the pool and a few more steps on sugary white sand where 2 chairs/umbrella waiting on you! I can't wait to come back!

This was our first time at Waterscape and booking with Danica was a breeze! We didn't have to deal with the front desk; check in and check out was EASY!! She helped us through the process and answered all our questions. She's the best at what she does-- very informative! We stayed in A227, not the best view but it was so easy to access the pool-- no elevator and no stairs. Plus the grill was close by as well!! When we entered her unit, music was playing and very relaxing. This unit was very clean, and I love she had all the light switches labeled!! My husband and kids enjoyed the reclining living room furniture. They were able to relax after a long day at the pool or beach. The beds were SUPER comfortable. Now, if you have kids that like opening doors fast, the 2nd bedroom the toilet is right by the door so make sure you lock it because I learned it the hard way (haha!). We will definitely book again with Danica!!

We loved our time in Danica's condo! We were able to check in early, and it was clean and refreshing. She had extra beach chairs, umbrella, and a fully stocked kitchen! The beds were all comfortable and plenty of room for a family of 5!

I made a last minute decision to rent one of Danica’s condos A227 and it was perfect. It was a beautiful place. Danica was very proactive sending us all the information she thought we may need. She was very responsive. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in A227 for five nights and it was wonderful! Upon arrival the condo was spotless and beach music was playing when we walked in the door. Danica provides recommendations on places to eat and things to do, which is great! We had a wonderful time and will be back!

We took our first family vacation summer of '22 and decided that Waterscape was the place for us with all their amenities, pools and being right on the beach. Danica came highly recommended, so we took the plunge! We were so thankful for the very clean, fun and well stocked condo because we never ended up leaving it for the entire trip! Our entire family ended up falling sick one by one the entire week we were there so, we were very grateful for all the cookware and entertainment in or at the condo!! She was so helpful with all our questions, needs, information and responses!(we ended up going to the local emergency room for my toddler). She went the extra mile to make it a happy and memorable trip for our kids with the personalized sand pails. We plan on returning this summer to make even more(and healthier) memories this coming summer!

This condo A227 is beautiful, comfy, and spacious! Danica is a wonderful condo manager! She is hands-on and available for any need that comes up. She has thought of all the essentials you may need for a beach trip and provided them at the condo. Wagon, extra beach chairs and umbrella, pack and play, highchair, coolers, ice packs, floats and beach toys. She also provides a list of close and good restaurants and activities during your stay if any. We had a wonderful stay! I love Waterscape! The only thing I would suggest is instructions for the TV (smart tv)switching from roku to cable..for those that don't have a smart TV. We figured it out, but I was afraid I'd mess up the TV. Lol... just me. Also a muffin pan.

Wonderful vacation! From the time of booking until getting home everything was great working with rentwaterscape.com. Easy communication, well cleaned unit, everything you can think of was provided, no complaints and looking forward to returning. This complex is very nice, felt safe around the area and didn’t worry about vehicles in the garage. Beach access was simple, especially with little ones.

We recently booked a last minute trip to Waterscape through Danica. We had stayed through another site several years ago and have always wanted to go back. I had been following Danica’s Facebook page for a while and finally decided to try staying with her. It was AMAZING!! Even booking last minute, she left us a little tote bag as a gift, had beach type music playing when we walked in and the beach decor in the condo was perfect. We were able to go straight to our room with a keypad code and didn’t have to check in. And the condo had everything we could need and more. We can’t wait to go back.

We recently stayed at one of Danica’s properties for fall break. She does a great job of planning and giving you any and all information you might need for your stay. The condo and resort was perfect for our family. The level of detail is impressive! We will definitely be coming back!

Upon entering the condo there was soft but upbeat music playing and instantly it felt like a vacation! Between the beachy decor and colors around the condo and the everything you need kitchen set it made for a comfy stay! The 2nd floor walk in play area was perfect for the small children and right next to it was a heated pool for the older kids and adults. Loved that they have a a concession area built like a little tiki hut for drinks, snacks and appetizers it was great to have that in the middle of swim time. Very easy to reserve and communication was smooth! Great stay 🐟 🧜🐋🐙

We got our condo from Danica. It was very nice/clean when we arrived. Took us a couple days to figure out the lay of the land cause the condo is huge! I loved the beach access! The pools and activities at the condo were great for my kids ages range from 3 to 11. They had a blast and enjoyed every minute! I would highly recommend and go again in the future!

This was our first trip to The beach and when I looking to book this trip I read reviews. I read comments. I fully look into all these things when booking somewhere. Danica has exceeded my expectations here for this vacation. She went above and beyond even did our grocery shopping, PUT OUR GROCERIES AWAY so they was ready for us when we got there. She picked us up from the airport and she truly made us feel at home. Danica was always quick to respond and answer any questions I needed answered. I give this 10/10 stars! She even left my girls a customized shirt! Thank you Danica. I appreciate you making this trip so easy!

We were delighted with the thoughtfulness and cleanliness to all the appliances and tools for the kitchen, toys, wagon, free kayaking each day, free umbrella/chairs, comfortable bedding, and selected music in the condo. The awesome pools and Lazy River with beautiful landscaping made it feel so tropical. Our granddaughter had a blast and never wanted to leave the water. The covered, secure parking kept our car cool and safe. There was easy access to some very delicious restaurants. Loved the fireworks! It was our 1st time to vacation here and we enjoyed it. Great vacation destination for the family. We’ve stayed 2x now and will definitely come back. The many activities they have planned throughout the week made the vacation that much more enjoyable for the kids.

Danica is truly the best owner we have ever experienced! She truly makes you feel like you are in a magical place. Music in the room when you arrive, cleanest smelling condo, beach toys galore, and any beach equipment you need! Oh! And lots of baby items too! We love Waterscape and Danica!

We had a great time renting from Danica and playing at Waterscape during our spring break! This condo is conveniently located near the parking garage for easy unloading/loading, near the pools and local restaurants/shops. Danica was very responsive and had great recommendations. Condo was clean and beds very comfortable!

Even though the weather could have been better, we had a great time. Both the 4 yr old and 9 yr old had a blast. We swam, dug in the sand, walked to nearby places, hung out and ate more treats than usual. Husband read his book and I read 4 books so you know we relaxed. We are already booked for October!

We stayed in A227 and LOVED it. It was quieter because it was on the outside of the building, so that was great for earlyish bedtime toddlers. Danica was amazing and we could tell the care she took to make this unit beautiful and clean (!) for us. Thank you for such a great vacation. Next time we will join you on that extra excursion!

Our condo was so clean and beautiful! Danica was always just a text away! Waterscape was very family oriented! We loved it and will be coming back!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Danica. She was so thorough and attentive to ever detail of our stay. The condo was perfect. My grandchildren ages 4 and 7 loved the pools and all the immentites. They were so sad to leave. We will definitely be back.

Danica is so amazing to work with. We have stayed at Waterscape one other time with other owners and they were great but Danica is just over the top great. She really makes sure every detail of your vacation is perfect. When we first arrived at our Unit (A227) it smelt so amazing and had an awesome playlist of music playing. Just set the vacation off great. And she really is just a text away like she says. Our unit was clean, decorated well, and very homey! Waterscape in general is great with many ways to entertain your entire family. We will definitely be booking again!

We stayed with Danica in June for a family vacay and again as evacuees. Both units were clean and very accommodating for our family. I cannot say enough about Danica’s hospitality! Thank you!!

Room was nice and clean,owner was very helpful and answered any text I sent quickly. She had info in her welcome package on things to do,places to eat and even helped us find a family photographer. The room came with plenty of stuff like a wagon for the beach,chairs,boogie board and kids toys. We also took advantage of the free paddle boards and kayaks each day that came with the room which was great. Overall it was a great stay no issues was able to check in and out with ease highly recommended to any one looking for a room for through Danica.
