Overall loved this space! Very modern and chic. Would stay here again…. Just A LOT of steps! Was difficult for my elderly mom to talk up/down multiple sets of steps. - go down steps to get to bottom level of Baytown, up a flight of stairs to get into condo, up a flight of stairs to get to bedrooms, up a flight of stair to get to pool.
Make sure you download and read guide sent to you prior to getting into parking garage, no service in garage. I was lost in the garage and couldn’t get into guidebook so I called the rental company for assistance. They informed me “this is why we sent a detailed guide to you prior to your arrival.” Thought this was a little rude: however, we still had a great time!

I must admit, it is a little disheartening to hear how much hard work we put into everything ahead of time to not have folks take the time to review things. In our marketing, we do make very clear that this condo has many steps to access the property and is not ideal for folks with disabilities or who may not appreciate steps. We understand that not everyone likes the city-style charm and did our best to make you aware before you booked. Upon arrival, our response was quite different, and we hate you perceived it as rude. We immediately sent you screenshots from your guidebook and called and texted several times to ensure you found the condo quickly (to which you replied yes, you did). There are many photos that we have taken with very detailed instructions on how to access the unit. Again, we understand getting to the condo the first time can be confusing so the photos and details we provide ahead of time are meant to assist you in having a wonderful vacation and seamless check in. We'd love to know how you think we could make this experience easier as we have implemented all the best strategies we know to assist our guests before they ever arrive with understanding the uniqueness of this vacation rental - requiring guests to take time to review all the information we provide before check-in. Taking vacations and spending quality time with family is such a wonderful blessing we all don't get the opportunity to embrace. My hope is that your time with your mom, the cleanliness of the condo, and our continued communication with you throughout your stay was relaxing and made you feel quite safe and at home with us. The unit was exactly as advertised. It had everything needed for a wonderful five day getaway. The management team was incredibly responsive. We asked for extra blankets… And they were there within a few hours. It was exceptional. My only problem was I could never figure out how to work the washing machine. I should have called… But, I did not want to bother anyone. My only advice is that if you arrive at night… Have a flashlight. I could not see the door code because it was dark and I had Left my phone in the car because it was raining. It took several attempts to get in and I was soaked.
You were the perfect guest! You should never hesitate to call on us to answer any questions or address any issues you may come across while staying with us. We are always ready to help out guest out to make their stay fun and easy! Also, we will definitely look into correcting the lighting issue for the door lock for easier entry. You'll feel like you're stepping into the old charm of downtown New Orleans at this cozy Baytowne Wharf condo in Miramar Beach, FL. This popular vacation rental is adored by adult-trip seekers who want to be in the action, while at the same time being able to seek privacy in your own getaway.
It's important to note that there are many stairs leading up the condo - this helps offer extra privacy away from the crowds and provides a great vantage point of the courtyard below. You may hear some hustle and bustle from the nightlife, indulging you even further into the city-feel of classic NOLA. But fear not, from the moment you enter inside, the high-end furnishings, top-rated appliances, and unique vibe of this condo are absolutely going to sweep you off your feet.
Downstairs, you have the main living space, a dining area, and a cozy sitting nook. This space opens up to the grand kitchen, stocked with everything you need to prepare a delectable meal at home. There's a half bath downstairs, and also the balcony overlooking the courtyard below. Imagine rich, bold colors, paired with soft lighting - all designed for a romantic, peaceful experience. Upstairs, you'll find your sleeping arrangements with 2 Queen bedrooms, each with their own private bathrooms. This condo is a short drive or tram ride away from the Sandestin® beach access. Resort tram service access is included with your stay.
This property is NOT handicap accessible. There are several stairs up to the entrance of this condo, paired with the steps inside to get to the sleeping quarters.
** Stays more than 25 nights must be paid in full 120 days prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy is also different than shorter stays - inquire before booking for more info. **
We are more than happy to setup payment plans as you may need, so long as the final payment is paid before the due date. Contact our office to coordinate your payment plan.
We require a selfie along with a valid government ID at time of booking. The name on the ID must match the card on file. The Rental Agreement must also be signed by the card holder, otherwise your reservation will be canceled with full forfeiture.
