We have been fortunate to have spent time in this outstanding condo twice in the past couple of years. We found it very clean and comfortable with all the conveniences you would expect in a luxury home. The condo is large and you have a feeling of spaciousness because of all the windows. The beach is a short stroll over the bridge crossing the lake in the resort. There is a beach cart to take your supplies for the day or you can park in the lot close to the beach provided for resort guests and just walk across the street. There is so much to do in this area—plenty of restaurants right by the beach (Whales Tail, Surf Hut, Royal Palm Grille, Pompano Joes) and many more a short drive away, a convenient grocery store you can walk to, even the large outlet mall is within walking distance but you’ll need your car to carry home all those purchases. We enjoyed some day trips down 30A, spent time in the village at Baytowne Wharf, explored Destin Commons and Harborfront as well as golfing at some of the area courses. If ever you do spend time in this condo, the view is lovely from all the many windows and balconies. Sometimes we found ourselves having a quiet glass of wine at the end of day on the balcony in the back watching the golfers and enjoying the view of the bay in the distance. Other times, we preferred the sun in the front balcony and stayed until the glorious sunset. The manager, Kathy, was very responsive when we had any questions and she was pleasant in all our dealings. We would recommend this unit to our family and friends and definitely plan on returning to enjoy it again.
Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review!

What a great place to stay! Seascape is a great resort tucked away from the main drag yet close enough to everything! Plenty of restaurants to choose from, several grocery stores nearby and the outlet mall is fantastic! The walk to the beach is very easy and short, and the beach is absolutely gorgeous! We even got to hitch a ride on the Seascape bus which takes you to and from the beach. The driver is a hoot! The condo was very nice with a great bunk room for the kiddos. The beds are so comfortable, and the decor is beautiful. Kathy is very attentive, always making sure everything was just right. She answered every email promptly and even called to make sure we arrived with no problems! Highly recommended, you will love your stay!!

Now we’ve barely mentioned our beach! The Emerald Coast is on the western panhandle of Florida that has the famed “Sugar Beach,” so called because of the nearly pure white super fine silica sand which has the consistency of sugar. These super refined crumbs of the Appalachian Mountains that have been washed down from the mountains for thousands of years now cover the beaches of the Emerald Coast and are around 97% pure quartz. This sand is unique in that it is so soft that it will squeak under your feet. Little wonder that it is considered one of the finest beaches in the world! Western Florida boasts over 300 sunny days per year. Water temps are high 80's in the summer and low 70's to mid 60’s in winter.
What to do besides enjoy our wonderful beach...Should you wish to explore what the local area has to offer, you'll find an abundance of choices. Sidewalks line scenic 98 for walking, running or bike riding. We are a short drive to the Silver Sands mall to the West, or luxury shopping at Destin Commons to the East. Kenny D's, The Crab Trap, and Pompano Joe's are all within a short drive. We encourage you to leave menus of your favorite restaurants when you come.
