This beautiful two story beach cottage has large wraparound balconies. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities to provide you with a fantastic vacation. On the second floor is the main master with a king size bed and master bath with a whirlpool tub and separate shower. The second master is also on the second floor. It has a queen size bed and attached bath as well. Both bedrooms have access doors to the large wraparound balcony for enjoying the evening breezes! On the main floor is the well appointed living room along with a kitchen that boasts stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. This beautiful home has beds for sleeping 8 plus a sofa sleeper for an additional two guest. The kitchen is fully equipped for making your vacation as easy as being at home. The main floor also has a washer and dryer next to the first floor bathroom that adjoins the main floor bedroom. This bedroom has a queen bed and a set ofbunk beds and access to the wraparound balcony as well. Each home has private parking for two vehicles in front of the home. * Parking is restrcted to the two cars only. If you have an additional vehicle you may rent a spot in front of the Club House if one is available.

Our home is located in the gated community of Beach Retreat. It is a very short walk to a private beach access with over 300 feet of beach frontage. The neighborhood has brick paveed streets lined with colorful Florida Cottages, and a 3000 square foot pool that is heated part of the year. This home is located within steps of the pool and directly behind the club house with a state of the art fitness room. The Beach Retreat community is within a mile of Pompano Joes, Capt. Daves and the Crab Trap Restaurants. We are centerally located near to all of Destin's wonderful Restaurants, water sports, children's activities, outlet mall, upscale shopping, casual and fine dining, movie theater and beautiful golf courses.

What to do besides enjoy our wonderful beach...Should you wish to explore what the local area has to offer, you'll find an abundance of choices. Sidewalks line scenic 98 for walking, running or bike riding. We are a short 2 mile drive to the Silver Sands mall to the West, or luxury shopping at Destin Commons to the East. Kenny D's, The Crab Trap, and Pompano Joe's are all within walking distance to The Beach Retreat Cottages. We encourage you to leave menus of your favorite restaurants when you come.
For evening entertainment, Destin is known for some wonderfully upscale eateries, as well as your regular fare. Friendly night life and nearby state of the art movie theater.

The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is a vacation in it’s own right for shoppers you will have access to over 100 stores, including, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike and Reebok - just to name a few. When you need to pause for nourishment choose from Panera Bread, Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill.

More great shopping can be found at the Destin Commons outdoor mall. Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, Books-A-Million & Maui Nix Surf Shop to rattle off a few.
