Summer Dreams is a wonderful vacation home. This perfectly maintained house is tucked away on a private, gated street but is still right in the heart of all of the activities that this area offers, and is a five minute walk to a private stretch of beach. Our vacation included multiple family groups and this house accommodated us perfectly. It’s multiple master bedrooms allowed every family staying in the house to have their own private retreat. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the house had plenty of spaces for all of our guests to eat. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are multiple restaurants within walking distance. One night our group took the easy walk to Pompano Joe’s for dinner right on the beach. Margaret and Gregg are wonderful to work with and made renting a breeze.

What a wonderful property!! It could not have been more perfect for our whole family! The baby items were just what we needed. Thank you to Gregg for thinking of ALL family members. The pool was a great size & was enjoyed by ALL! The beach equipment saved us from packing items you already had at the house. There are 9 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas & a beach cart. The short walk to the beach was a big plus. We did rent golf carts so we loaded most the stuff on one and drove it to the unload spot. Then left it parked close by. Worked out great The bedding was over the top!! Sooo comfy!! The only challenge we had was the refrigerator. Since we ate at the house most of the week, the frig was stuffed. A larger refrigerator/freezer would be better, but we kept coolers iced down for drinks. We loved our stay & HIGHLY recommend this home! Gregg was great to work with. It was our first time not being on the beach and I sure missed the view. But the house has everything else you could want!!!! What FABULOUS memories!! Thank you!!

The house was perfectly laid out for our family. We had 16 in total and everyone had plenty of space. The pools in back was wonderful for hanging out and cooling off. We found ourselves out by the pool often. The location to the beach was so close (3-5 minute walk). The owners were wonderful to work with. We will definitely come back.

This beautiful home was the perfect place for our large family of 22. With three floors we had lots of room to spread out! The kids loved the private pool and game room. This home had everything we needed to accommodate all of us. Location to the beach was great. Gregg was super helpful from a very detailed welcome letter, and recommending great places to visit while on vacation. Lots of space for parking, we fit 5 vehicles easily in the driveway. Couldn’t have asked for better beach weather, lots of beach and pool time during the day and foosball and billiards in the evening. Being in a gated community you don’t have any of the busy beach traffic and peace of mind knowing that the area is safe. The beach area is amazing and the Emeral color water was unbelievable crystal clear for as far as you can see. Overall the best, most comfortable place we have ever stayed at for vacation. Gregg and Margaret have furnished the house like you feel at home and can make the most out of your vacation. We have already thought about renting it again in the future.

The property was perfect and Gregg was excellent to work with. We thought we had a large group (23 people) but once we were all settled in it honestly never felt like we were a large group, everyone had plenty of their own space. The 1st floor living/dining/kitchen area was a great space for all of us to get together and still have plenty of room. The kids spent most of their time in the pool and game room on the 3rd floor. The game room being on the 3rd floor allowed the kids to have a bit of freedom and the noise level never bothered the adults on the first floor. Everything we needed was in house, plenty of towels, extra blankets, beach items, everything! Gregg responded promptly to all inquiries, and even kept me updated to any changes with the property prior to our arrival. The beach, shopping and activities are all very close. Please do be aware if you rent scooters you cannot drive them to the house, they are not allowed in the subdivision. The week was amazing and we would recommend Gregg and Margaret's property to anyone!

This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL house. Very big and spacious. There were 24 of us and there was plenty of room and things to do for everyone. The owners were awesome to communicate with. We were quite impressed with the gated community and the walk to the beach was very easy (especially considering we had alot of kiddos). The house has everything you could imagine you would need. Pool area was great. Will definitely book from these owners next time we come to Destin, FL.

Check in was easy and Gregg was extremely helpful and very quick to respond on any issue or question, we had throughout the stay. We had 23 people staying here, 10 adults and 13 kiddos! We never felt crowed, the two large dinning tables in the kitchen area were great. Each family had an area of the home to sleep and or retreat if they needed some space. We paid a little extra to have the pool heated and the kids had a blast. The beach is a very easy walk from the location as well, the kiddos didn’t even complain! Highly recommend and I don’t get anything extra for saying so either, encase you were wondering!

We had the pleasure of staying at Gregg's "Summer Dreams" for 2 weeks in June for our sons wedding @ Sandestin. There were between 2-22 family members and friends staying with us the entire time. Their vacation home is well conceived for large groups like we brought. The separate living room areas on each floor were perfect for games and discussion. The open floorplan downstairs was a perfect chance for everyone to catch up/plan the days events. There is a great first floor bedroom for a couple that might have a hard time on the three floors of stairs. We spent lots of time (around the storms) outside on patio and in pool. We used the grill for a big BBQ lunch and had ample parking for everyone the entire time. I could go on and on about the closets and bathrooms being so large and comfortable as well. The location to the beach was perfect! Just a quick walk around the building, across the street and you were there! The home is also pretty centrally located for quick trips to the store/restaurants etc as well. Harborwalk area is a bit of a drive, but not too bad. 2 weeks of laundry was done as well in the convenient and large washer/dryers on main floor. TV's were large and had plenty of cable channels for rare TV/movie nights on the big blue couch! Gregg was helpful and communicative via phone/email. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Two others and my family rented this house for our Spring Break. The house is beautiful and in a great location. The walk to the beach is simple, and the older kids loved the freedom of walking down the street to shop or grab ice-cream. The design of the house was perfect, we had 7 boys ages 7-16 with us. I am not joking when I say we never had one fight. The house, pool and beach provided plenty of entertainment and there was plenty of room to get away if the kids needed a break. I said we rode the tail of Spring Breakers because we came at the end of the spring break season. There were a few things that were not working as well as they would have typically. The owners, Gregg and Margaret were so fast to help us and so apologetic for things that were obviously not reported to them as not working. (For example, the ice machine had obviously been filled repeatedly with bag ice, therefore clogging the ice machine- easy fix, , the dishwasher wasn't working, but unless the cleaning service had to run it, no one would have known) One of the air conditioners wasn't working the first day we were there. Gregg had someone scheduled and there in less than 12 hours to fix it. Because of a huge storm one night, the heater on the pool went out. I called and literally within 10 minutes the pool guy showed up and had the heater working again. I cannot get stuff done at my own home that fast! All of us staying at the house appreciated the time and dedication the owners gave us to make our spring break a memorable one. My family and I loved this house so much, we have rented it again to stay at the end of July and are bringing my whole (extended) family. I see this home as a place we will always consider when we travel to this area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this great home. There were several bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom and shower, very close to beach and restaurants. Highly recommended. The owners provided very useful information when I requested it. Only downside was it was unseasonably cold during the week, but we still rented a pontoon and made it to Crab Island. What a blast!

In the spring of 2019 we upgraded several rooms in our home and replaced beds and bedding, among other things. The pictures you see were taken after the updates.
Our beautiful, family-oriented, home is a three-story, 5000 square foot luxury 7 bedroom home - professionally designed to allow for 3 – 4 families to make wonderful vacation memories together – just as our family does. Our home has comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to 22 people in beds. 24 guests maximum in our home.
We worked with a professional designer to assist with making our home as beautiful as possible. Custom colors throughout our home gives it an elegant beach vibe. We purchased high quality furnishing and bedding for the entire house. Rohn, Tommy Bahama, Broyhill Pottery Barn, Donna Karen and Ralph Lauren home just to name a few.
A whole house Sonos sound system is included.
We have custom paintings and art pieces from local artists throughout our home. Our super high ceilings make our home feel very spacious.
The well-appointed first floor holds a stunning foyer, crown molding (which is located throughout the entire home), a huge family room with plenty of seating and a flat screen TV, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the patio and pool, dining room (one table holds 8 people and another table holds 6 people, with seating for 10 people on the patio). You read that correctly. We wanted to make sure everyone could eat together if you wanted to! We include a high chair and two booster seats for little ones.
Enjoy upscale amenities in the fully loaded gourmet kitchen: stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops (2 stools at the counter), regular coffee pot as well as a Keurig, dishwasher, ice maker and all the cooking utensils, dishes, glasses and silverware needed to cook a gourmet meal for your family and friends. People have held their family’s Thanksgiving dinner in this spacious area.
Our family-oriented home also includes a regular sized crib in first floor king suite, pack-and-play in one of the 2nd floor king suites and another pack-and-play in the closet of the king suite on the 3rd floor. We also include an umbrella stroller! As well as games and huge bean bags on the 3rd floor.
Also, on the 1st floor is a very spacious and lovely king master suite which has two walk-in closets (heated and cooled where a crib is located), a large flat screen TV and the master bathroom has a wonderfully large walk-in travertine natural stone shower, a soaker tub and a two-bowl granite sink. This is perfect if you have older family members who have trouble climbing steps.
The pool is one of the largest in the area. There is a large 18" deep shelf for babies and toddlers to enjoy with Mom and Dad. The large shelf is often home base for games our kids play in the pool. Our covered patio area allows family to be outside with everyone without being in the sun. We have lounge and Adirondack chairs around the pool.
The pool area includes a pergola area that has a round table with three chairs and a large gas grill. For safety, both patio gates by the pool latch automatically so little children cannot get to the pool area unattended. There is a shower head in the driveway to rinse off the sand when returning from the beach.
Destin has the whitest and cleanest beaches in the world. When you are ready to sink your toes in the sugary sand, there is a private beach entrance that is only a three-minute walk away for Emerald Waters Village visitors. There is a 3-way stop at the corner where you cross the street to our private beach entrance which makes it safer to cross. And the walk is easy for small children.
The second floor has three lovely and tranquil king bedrooms suites with private bath and flat screen TVs. All bathrooms have walk-in natural stone showers and granite counters. There is a pack and play in one of the heated and air-conditioned large closets of one of the king suites. Perfect for little ones. You can plug in a baby monitor in the closet to listen for and watch your baby as well.
The 2nd floor also includes a Billiards room with an 8 foot pool table, leather love seat, 60" SmartTV and 6 chairs. The room is for families wanting to hang out and enjoy some time together. There is a small refrigerator and granite counter top with an ice bucket so you can have cold drinks in the room.
We also provide a large covered patio (11 feet by 16 feet) off the 2nd floor family room that overlooks the pool area. This patio includes a couch and two large comfortable chairs. It's the perfect place to get away and read a magazine or book. Teenagers also love using this balcony when they a break from the little ones.
The 3rd floor includes our 3rd family room that is designed to be kid friendly. We have a king suite bedroom on the 3rd floor as well as a private hall bathroom. There are two darling bunk rooms painted in bright colors. Each bunks room has 4 bunk beds and dresser and closet. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom between one of the bunk rooms and the king bedroom suite. The king bedroom suite is a good size room and is decorated in greens and blues with flat screen TV, dresser and closet. The person(s) in this room can use the hall bath for their private bath.
The large family room includes a flat screen with DVD, pull-out couch, two huge bean bags that holds 2-3 kids (each). We also have a Foosball table. In the hallway is a 16-foot shuffleboard table for competition games. There is a table for four where kids can play cards, color or whatever they want.
