Had a conference at the Hilton Sandestin and needed a room close by to stay. Was clean very spacious and only a minute to walk to the Hilton conference center across the parking lot. Was able to stay for a fraction of the price as the Hilton and free parking too! Marcella was great to work with and was able to accommodate me with little notice.

From the time of booking to checking out, Marcella made our experience extremely smooth and exciting! We had a glitch early on with my husband switching jobs and potentially having to cancel our trip, but Marcella remained patient with us as we worked out the kinks. The location of the Luau at the Sandestin Resort is on the most beautiful beach as well as a quick drive to wherever you wish to go. The furthest we went was Dewey Destin's at Crab Island, and it was a strait shot on the highway. The room was absolutely incredible and much bigger than we anticipated. Though it isn't right on the beach, we still had a fantastic ocean view from our balcony. Everything was so clean and well stocked throughout the room. We loved not having to bring our own beach chairs, and there were actually a couple umbrellas left behind from possible previous guests. The kitchen has everything you need for a couple or small family to store a small amount of snacks or food for the stay. The walk to the beach was quite simple and took only a couple minutes from leaving the room to stepping on the sand (including carrying several things). One thing I would recommend is bringing a fan if you like to sleep at a very cold temperature. It is asked to keep the thermostat at 69 or higher to keep the unit from freezing, so if that is too hot definitely bring a box fan. Also, definitely check out the Sunset Deck on the 11th floor! Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

This seventh floor Luau two studio is perfect for business travelers, couples or small families. Luau’s close proximity to the Sandestin Hilton and beach make it great for both business and pleasure. Many travelers with conferences at the Hilton find Luau to be a great alternative to staying directly in the hotel.
The studio at Luau is larger than any of the local hotel’s rooms and even larger than many of their suites. Our studio at Luau comes with a king sized bed and pull out sofa in case you have a child in your party and sleeps three very comfortably. It has a flat screen TV in the room as well as a small table to eat at and a basic kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and dorm style fridge, just enough to cook basic meals. If you are more ambitious, Luau has some of the nicest gas grills on the beach and with a little practice you could grill just about anything and have some pretty tasty meals without having a kitchen or the cleanup.
Being so close to the Hilton and The Beach House means that you do have several restaurants, from casual outdoor beachfront dining to the prime steaks and seafood at Seagar’s all within a couple of minutes’ walk from the condo. Also, the Hilton has the Serenity by the Sea Spa that consistently ranks as one of Destin’s best spas.
Luau has one of the nicest pool areas in SANDESTIN® Golf and Beach Resort, complete with waterfall, separate kiddie pool area and hot tub. The pool deck also has its own seasonal snack bar and often during weekends in season has live music. Luau also has a fitness center equipped with modern treadmills, stationary bikes and weight machine.
