We spent Spring Break 2024 at Flip Flop Holiday. The house was beautiful and the gated community of Carillon Beach was a wonderful blend of luxury, relaxation and convenience. Lynn does a fabulous job anticipating the needs of her guest. Beach towels to laundry detergent, cooler to Keurig, everything was there. We really appreciated the cleanliness and comforts of Flip Flop Holiday and we’ll definitely visit again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Flip Flop Holiday! The house was as described and was one of the most equipped and well taken care of vacation homes we have stayed in. The included beach towels, beach toys, and golf cart were perfect. Check in and check out was a breeze and communication with the host was top notch. We can’t recommend this vacation home enough!

Flip Flop Holiday was a perfect getaway for our family! The neighborhood is family friendly for kids of all ages...has a playground and kid focused pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball court, sidewalks throughout, two more lovely pools, and a very private beach for the neighborhood, which is one of the cleanest beaches I have ever visited! The house is clean and comfortable, and has all you need for a relaxing vacation! The main floor has a queen bedroom and full bathroom, and upstairs, a king master suite and another bedroom with a queen bed and double bed with a full bath. The beds are very comfortable! The outdoor spaces are charming and have a lovely view of the courtyard out front, and the woods out back. Super bonus to this home is the 6 passenger golf cart that is included and provides a fun daily outing not only to the beach or pool, but an architectural tour of the neighborhood! We loved seeing the details and how they stood out differently during the day and the night with all the lights. This home is also very conveniently located to everything along Florida's 30A beaches/restaurants/shops/charm. We look forward to visiting again in the future! We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was even better than expected and the interior decorating was phenomenal. The owner/manager was super organized and helpful, making sure we had a trip full of great memories. We highly recommend staying here.

We have nothing but great things to say about this vacation!

Where to even begin?! The house was perfectly cleaned, well stocked, beautiful, and comfortable. We needed for nothing the entire week we were there. We’ve stayed in many different areas along the Emerald coast including Destin, Miramar, and several areas along 30A. Carillon was our absolute favorite so far. The neighborhood is so beautiful and the Main Street has two restaurants, wine bar, spa, and general store (with everything you could need from beach toys, sunscreen, snacks, drinks, ice cream, and souvenirs). Throughout our week, we had some bad weather and double red flag days, but having Flip Flop Holiday made the stay still just as amazing. We’d take golf cart rides in the evening, grab a shake at Our Little Beach Cafe, and listen to the bells. The pools, grounds, and courts were maintained beautifully. The location is perfect; right outside of the gates are grocery stores and Rosemary Beach and Inlet are just a five minute drive. But you avoid the crazy crowds of the 30A beaches. It’s very rare that I the reality is better than the photos, but this is absolutely the case of Flip Flop Holiday and Carillon Beach.

WeekSpent the week here, could not have been better. Have been staying in Carrolon for several years first time here. Great experience, great location. Very clean, everything we needed as a family with small kids [six year old and ten month old]. Golf cart on site was a plus so it saves rental fee. Stayed in and grilled out one night, nice grill good utensils, plenty of plates etc. Everything was great. Family atmosphere of the resort, lots of kids running around. Great experience overall and great rental. Highly recommend.

This was our fifth stay at Carillon Beach and the owners made sure our visit in their lovely home was spectacular! The house was immaculate when we arrived! It is stocked with EVERYTHING from ziploc bags to a martini shaker, and even an ice cream maker!! There are plenty of dishes and cookware. The beds, sofa, and chairs are all really comfortable and made for a very relaxing week. When I forget what day it is I know I have had a very relaxing, recharging vacation. Most important, Lynne and Eddie the owners are the most gracious hosts. They were in contact with me from the minute I booked the reservation through the time I left the property. They truly want their guests to have the best experience ever! I most definitely would stay at Flip Flop Holiday again! Thank you Lynne and Eddie for a wonderful trip!

We have rented in Carillon for 7 years and I can honestly say this spring break was better than any before!! We cooked delicious meals on the Weber grill for six of the seven nights. The golf cart was such an asset when going to the beach each day and the designated beach chairs were a bonus!! I highly recommend Flip Flop Holiday and Carillon Beach for your next vacation!! Can’t wait for our next visit!!

Where do I begin? Lynn and Eddie could not have been any more accommodating and friendly. The circumstances that led us to rent through them were a nightmare, but let me just say they jumped in and helped us when we needed them most! They turned a disaster in a dream come true. Their home is PERFECT! Clean, cozy, cute, great location and all the amenities you could ever need or want in a beach vacation. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were heavenly and Lynn’s decoration style is great. They are close to the water, one of the pools, the pickleball and tennis courts as well as basketball court. We loved it here so much we are actually thinking of trying to buy a vacation home here. But what made it the absolute best was how they jumped in to help us when we needed help from a different rental from hell! They were so amazing, accommodating and nice. I feel like I have new best friends! Thank you for opening up your home to us last minute like you did. You are amazing. I was raised to treat others property better than your own and this certainly has paid off because it is heavenly and you will not regret it! Thank you againLynn and Eddie.

The house was even better than the description and photos. It seemed like a brand new construction house. Extremely well stocked kitchen and other amenities. Very comfortably furniture, beds along with great bedding. The golf cart made for a quick trip to the beach which really wasn't that far away. Lynn was great to work with before, during and after our stay. The house was in the back of the Carillon property and very quiet. We will definitely book Flip Flop Holiday again ! I have rented many properties on VRBO and this has been one of our most pleasant experiences. The property was immaculate which is our most important criteria and the most difficult to maintain. The owners are attentive and personal.

This property is absolutely amazing. It's even better than advertised. The hosts were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of during our stay. Communication was top notch! Love this place and we will definitely be back!

My family has been to Carillon beach many times over the last decade or so, and I have to say that Flip Flop Holiday is one of our favorite places to stay there!! First of all, the owners are fantastically easy to work with, and very responsive to any questions and needs. We also love the location of the house, it’s not even a 2 minute walk to the beach, and it’s in one of the quieter parts of the neighborhood. Not only is the house clean, comfortable, and up-to-date, it one of the few houses that comes with a golf cart. True, you can rent one from a third-party company, but it is going to cost you quite a few bucks. The cart they have is also a much better quality than the rentals too. Not that those are bad, this one is just cool! Also, the house came with 2 beach chairs included, which you are definitely going to want. All in all, you can’t beat this house on all fronts. Five stars, would highly recommend!

Very comfortable and clean ! Furnished to perfection. Kitchen was completely stocked, even had some spices and basic necessities for cooking. Very nice home. Owners were very communicative and personable .

This property was PERFECT! We've stayed in various properties in Carillon Beach over the past few years and this one was our favorite. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed in the kitchen and throughout. It was exceptionally clean, the layout and decor was awesome, and Lynn was great to work with and always cheerfully responded to any of our questions. Our entire family really enjoyed themselves.

Our party included three generations. This house is IDEAL for families. The downstairs bedroom off the kitchen was perfect for my retired mom and became her own little oasis. With easy access off the kitchen, she could make her coffee and and enjoy the front porch in the quiet of the early morning. Those in the upstairs bedrooms were never disturbed by any of the action downstairs. This house is well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook full meals and completely unwind. So many outstanding details: ample space to completely unpack and make it our own for our time there, outdoor closet for all the beach gear, pantry space and empty drawers in the kitchen for groceries, large fridge, generous hampers for laundry, really all the comforts (and some even nicer) than home. One new aspect to us was having use of a golf cart. Initially, did not think we would use it very much. But, it was wonderful to have it to transport ourselves and all the gear around Carillon. The hosts were INCREDIBLE and never more than a text or call away. The house is immaculate, Carillon is a quiet little 'island' unto itself and the hosts are simply unmatched.

We absolutely love this house! Clean & Comfy & Beautifully decorated! -Kitchen stocked with the very best of everything. Table is big and comfy…great for meals, games and puzzles! -Bedrooms have most comfortable beds ever (I am ordering identical sheets and want the mattress!) -Bathrooms are sparkling clean and towels are high quality. We saw several other nearby homes during our stay. I’ll just say, we were blessed to have found this one!! Owners have done fantastic job updating will all of the extras!

This was our first trip to this area of Florida, and we loved it. Carillon and the surrounding beach neighborhoods were wonderful. This house is wonderfully formatted, clean as a whistle and well appointed. We had some days with rough beach conditions, but that’s nothing the heated community pool couldn’t fix. Lynn was great to deal with. Highly recommend.

If your reading this review, I will simply say this house, location, owner and simply our whole experience was incredible. We had our initial vacation to Jamaica cancelled unexpectedly. We were able to book the Flip Flop Holiday House last minute and it saved our vacation. Lynn the owner called me after I booked it, and simply reassured me that our vacation was going to be amamzing. We walked in and the house was spotless and in a safe, gated community. The beds were beyong comfortable, linens clean and we slept SO well. House and kitchen is stocked with everything you need to the trip easy and clean. Glof cart was great and helped SO much with getting kiddos and supplies back to the beach. We loved and it aill be back Lastly, I need to tell you that I have rented for some years now, but Lynn has been the best host we have ever had. Her friendliness and communication are top notch. We were blessed we found this house when we did. you will be too!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Flip Flop Holiday! Lynn was a pleasure to communicate with prior to and during our stay. We felt like we were staying at a resort - the bed linens and towels were amazing! Lynn and Eddie also provided spa-like toiletries in each bathroom. The house was so clean and we felt like we were the first ones to stay there! The kitchen was very well stocked, and the cookware was high quality! The home was clean and very well stocked with kitchen items you don’t usually get in beach rental houses. It’s close to the pool, tennis courts and a short walk to the beach. And the beds are very comfortable. There was plenty of gathering space in the main living area as well. Our family enjoyed our stay very much.

I am SO thankful I found Flip Flop after hours of searching for the perfect rental for our vacation!! Lynn is amazing to work with! She is an excellent communicator and truly wants you to have the best vacation with your family! She owns this home and cares about it, unlike several large rental companies I have used in the past. The house was EXTREMELY clean! It’s in an amazing neighborhood, it has the feel of Seaside, but it’s MUCH quieter and exactly what we were looking for! The Carillon community was so friendly! The beach is very close by and so is a heated pool, you could walk to them easily or take the golf cart if you prefer. All of us commented on how well we slept on the very comfortable beds! Everything in this rental is well thought out and there was never any item we needed that was not provided. We would love to return again and enjoyed making memories! Thankful to have gained a new friend in the process with the owner!

We loved everything about this property. The furnishings were perfect and so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think about needing. The location was so convenient to the beach and the golf cart was nice to have. The house was so spacious that we had plenty of room for everybody. Our stay at Flip Flop Holiday could not have been more perfect! The house was so clean and well stocked. Lynn provided several extra items such as coffee, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc. that most other rentals do not. It was nice to have a few things already there until I could make a trip to the store. Publix and CVS is just down the street. Lynn could not do a better job communicating. She told us she was available 24/7. If we had any question at all, she responded within minutes. The use of the golf cart was an added bonus that made getting things to the beach so much easier. Flip-Flop Holiday is a great beach retreat! There is everything you need to relax and refresh. The kitchen is very well stocked for fixing meals in and the grill is great for cooking out. Great care was taken to make sure everything was clean and fresh. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were well supplied with towels and quality soaps; much attention was given to little details to make our stay the best! I cannot say enough good things about Flip Flop Holiday, for both the house and the owners. This was our 8th house in 8 years coming to Carillon, and we will totally be staying at this house again. Not that the other houses were awful, it's that this house, and the whole experience, were the best we've ever had. We had constant communication with the owners before our stay. Super fast to help us out with any questions we had, and made the entire process very easy. The house itself is immaculate! You can tell the cleaning staff is top notch, and go to great care to ensure that everything is perfect before you check in. The house is stocked well with everything you need for your stay from toilet paper to beach towels. I will say that not every house in Carillon offers that with their house. In the past, we've had to run out to the store the night we've arrived before to pick up basic necessities. But that is not the case with Flip Flop Holiday! All the beds and furniture are very comfortable too, with a kitchen that is well built and accommodating. The new grill is a great feature as well. We've never used a grill at any rental we've stayed at before, but I couldn't pass up cooking some hot dogs on there for my son and I. Lastly, do not overlook the value in having a golf cart come with this house too. You can always rent one from the one company that Carillon lets you use, but there are two important things to consider. First is availability, Carillon only allows a certain number of carts to be rented inside the property, to keep traffic down I assume. But most importantly is the price. To rent a 6 person cart for a week like the one here will set you back about $700, if not more. Plus, this cart is way nicer than the rental ones too. So take it from a return customer to Carillon, this house doesn't not disappoint. And do not hesitate to rent it. Unless it's during the week I want it. Then you can't have it. :)

Perfect house and perfect beach. We had all we needed and then some!

Lynn has made sure this home is meticulously clean and check in as smooth as possible. By far the most kind and gracious host we have had. The home was close to the walkover, golf cart made it convenient but the walk is easy. We have stayed along 30a for years and this was the best for a quaint community and quiet beach in close proximity to all the area has to offer. I would recommend this home, and Carillon, without hesitation.

We LOVED our family vacation to Carillon Beach and our stay at Flip Flop Holiday! Everything was exactly as pictured on VRBO. Extremely clean and well kept. The decor was amazing and we felt at home the whole time. The owners kept us in the loop with all the happenings during our Fourth of July stay and promptly answered any questions we had. Also, the brand new golf cart was a great bonus and the kids had a great time riding it over to the beach. We will definitely be back again!

This beach property was so clean and welcoming! The contact with the property owner was wonderful! We had all the information needed a week before our departure. Our family of six loved having three full, nice bathrooms to go along with the three large bedrooms. We all loved riding to the beach and around Carillon in the new 6 passenger golf cart. The beach chairs were an added bonus! The kitchen is well stocked with anything that you might need to cook including an ice cream maker! Our family would love to rent this beach cottage again!

Flip Flop Holiday was simply the best. The owners thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. The extra touches and attention put forth were greatly appreciated. Our checkin/checkout was super easy. Extra clean home, comfy beds & pillows, and all linens were super comfortable and fresh. The golf cart was AWESOME!!! Rocking chairs on the front porch were relaxing and perfect for family time in the evenings. We grilled one night on the very nice grill, and we all agreed that the burgers, hot dogs, and sausage were the best we had ever eaten… I promise 😁. Fantastic home! Location is perfect in this private, beautiful beach community. You are provided with a great golf cart but are literally a short, easy walk straight to the emerald waters of the gulf! We have never stayed in such a clean, well-stocked & comfortable home...the owners have paid great attention to detail here & Lynn was fantastic to work with. This house was amazing! It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the location was amazing! It was also a plus to have beach chairs and a golf cart included in our stay. We will definitely be back. The beach was gorgeous and not crowded at all! We had a wonderful time and it was so relaxing at Flip Flop Holiday.
