Ocean Front, 2 Bed, 2 Bath, Upscale Condo , Panama City Beach , Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

I have stayed at several condo complexes on PCB since the 1990's and I will say that one of my favorite things about this condo is the elevators are fast! I had no problem with us being on the 16th floor. Sunset views are spectacular. Floorplan is better than the typical floorplans that are long and narrow. This one had a very wide balcony with sliding doors leading from the master bedroom as well as the dining area AND the living area had large windows as well. So, there are gulf views from every room except the guest bedroom. The bunk area was in an unusual location, but ended up being kinda cool for even us adults during the day. It made a cozy place to take a quick nap or taking a break to listen to music with earbuds. I think if we had small children, it wasn't the best bed setup for them, but it still felt like an extra perk! I also love having the beach chairs and umbrella included. That can add up quickly and is a very nice perk. The master bed was very comfortable and I liked having an extra blanket provided. Everything worked properly and the unit was very clean. Also, owner was very responsive and friendly. If I were to make a suggestion it would be to add a dresser in the master for storage which would also make the tv slightly higher to view while lounging on the bed. And, a quirky thing I sort of missed was there are no mirrors in the foyer/kitchen area to just take a glance at yourself to check your hair clip or hat on the way out...lol. I have already told my whole family about this condo and hope to return next year with more family members. The water was crystal clear and weather cooperated wonderfully. Tidbit of more info is a Wendy's is literally across the street which came in handy and you are very close to Walmart and lots of beach shops if you aren't familiar with the area. Entire complex seemed to have very respectful renters so there was no ruckus. Only positive peaceful experience the whole week.

We have stayed at several different condos over the years when vacationing in PCB, but Gulf Crest is definitely my favorite. The views, the balcony and the complex amenities are unmatched! This unit was no different. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

This was our first visit to Panama City Beach.... and our first time using ‘Emerald Coast By Owner’ to find a rental.
What a great experience! The owner, Ross, was wonderful to work with...he was always available to answer questions and replied quickly back to us. We appreciated how he communicated with us to make sure we had a wonderful stay.
The condo was exactly as pictured and described. We loved that the
kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking.... as we do enjoy making some of our own meals in!
The condo was very clean and furniture was very comfortable.
The views of the ocean from the AMAZING large balcony was a treat in itself! The balcony was well furnished with chairs and loungers.
The location was perfect for easily getting to many restaurants and although we didn’t have children with us, there are several attractions nearby for kids.
We highly recommend this rental and we DO look forward to returning again!

This unit was great. Had everything we needed and the beach chairs were great. We have stayed at Gulf Crest several times as the location is great for us. We will be back!!!

 

The condo was absolutely beautiful! Perfect Roommate setup with the bedrooms opposite sides of the confo. The most incredible views and HUGE balcony. We wil be coming back to this condo in the future.

A great place to stay . We have been staying here for many years . We are looking forward to coming back next year. It is fully stocked with everything you need. We will be back !

This was a last minute vacation. The original renter had to change weeks opening up this week. I am very glad we got to stay in this condo. We come to Panama city beach multiple times per year. This was one of the cleanest condos we have stayed in while vacationing in Pcb. This was a great condo all around with very good communication with owner. We will definitely stay again.

Condo was in wonderful condition, clean, beautifully furnished and kitchen was packed with everything we needed. Ross & Susan were very quick to respond to any questions we had and we would definately stay here again.

We had a great stay at Gulf Crest Condo. We found our unit to be very clean and well equipped. The view from the 16th floor was phenomenal. The grounds and beach were very clean and well maintained.

This was the first 2 month snowbird work vacation I have ever taken. The views were perfect & the condo was spacious & gorgeous. The balcony was HUGE. The owner was so kind & helpful about every single thing. The building was well maintained & for me, quiet location is key & this lived up to that. You will not go wrong on this one! It felt like home the moment I stepped into it.

Condo was just as described in the pictures !! Absolutely beautiful decor and view !! Owner was very thoughtful of renters needs and even provided extras like beach toys and a cooler with wheels !! Our one year old granddaughter was with us and we were pleased to find a high chair and a Pack-n-Play!! Gulf Crest is a beautiful resort and is well-maintained. We felt very safe and comfortable at all times. Pools are great and beach-service was very much appreciated ! Parking was a bit tight, but we have a big truck and managed fine We would definitely stay there again !!

Lovely, clean condo exactly as described. Comfortable and great location. The views were so amazing, much of our stay included spending time on the massive balcony! This is by far the best condo we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were looking for a special place for a vacation. And we found it! The owners of this condo are top of the line people. Our happiness was their goal. The condo was spotless and beautifully decorated. Check in was quick and easy and we were on our way to a beautiful week of unforgettable sunsets to gaze upon from the huge balcony. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful, clean condo with spectacular views! We loved the open concept, high ceilings, and large balcony. The large TV in the living area was nice and our daughter loved the bunk closet. Great communication with the owner made booking and check-in easy. We would highly recommend this unit!

We just returned from our 7 night stay at gulf crest and my family and I were missing it as soon as we closed the door to 1606 for the last time. The condo was beautiful; it definitely met our expectations! Working with Ross was great! Booking went so much smoother than I had anticipated as this was our first time using VRBO by owner! We will definitely be back to Gulf Crest 1606 again, just not soon enough! This place stole my heart!

We just returned home from our vacation. We had the best time! What makes or breaks a vacation? The accommodations! We were so pleased with the size of the condo as well as the cleanliness. The kitchen had everything we needed especially considering the fact that we eat in most of the time. The view and balcony is perfect. Just a quick few minutes and you are relaxing in the complimentary beach chairs. We really liked how quiet the condo is inside as well as very comfortable. I have had back surgery so a comfy bed is a must, and the bed was extremely comfortable! When we are searching for a vacation rental we always consider the reviews so we had to just let everyone know what a fantastic time we had at 1606! Thank you Ross and Susan for responding so quickly and for providing us with a memorable and relaxing vacation!

I highly recommend renting this unit. The housekeeping is immaculate, the balcony is large, and the beach is pristeen. The included beach chairs are fantastic! We had a wonderful vacation and wish we could stay longer. The owners were very responsive and the Gulf Crest staff were great, as well. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Gulf Crest is a beautiful place to stay and 1606 was perfect. We always stay here because it is peaceful and quiet. It is our go-to place when in PCB. We had a wonderful experience. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Check in was a breeze. I can't wait to return again and again!

 

We have stayed in many condos in the gulf from Clearwater to Panama City. This is our favorite. It was so clean and the view from the 16th floor was amazing! The kids love watching the jets fly over and the Dolphins. The water was beautiful and the staff was amazing and nice. Clean pools and fitness center too. Will def be back!!

 

My husband and I loved our stay in this beautiful condo. We went to PCB to celebrate our 32nd Wedding Anniversary, and we couldn't think of anywhere more amazing to celebrate it. We've been going to PCB for almost 30 years now. This was our second stay at Gulf Crest and first stay in this condo. Ross was so nice, and the rental process was so easy. We were impressed by how quickly he returned emails and phone calls. The condo was beautifully furnished and very clean. We especially enjoyed the large, well-furnished balcony where we saw incredible sunsets every night. The beach service (2 chairs and umbrella) that was included with the rental was awesome. We will never rent a condo again that doesn't include this wonderful service. We also enjoyed that Gulf Crest has 2 large swimming pools. We will definitely rent this condo again in the future.
 

Ross and Susan were so nice, and their response time and follow-up by email or phone was very helpful. The condo is beautiful, and we enjoyed everything about our stay at Gulf Crest. The views from their 16th-floor unit were amazing - and the sunset-view from their balcony was incredible every evening. Can't wait to go back! We would definitely recommend renting from Ross and Susan.

We had an excellent time at Gulf Crest. We have been visiting the Gulf Coast for the past 12 years and this was the cleanest condo we have ever rented. This was our second time staying at Gulf Crest, and we will definately be back. We especially liked the extra large balcony with seating for 10. We ate most of our meals on the balcony. The kitchen was stocked with more pots and pans than we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was very quick to respond to our inquiry for rental, and the onsite rental ageny was very nice at check in. I would highy recommend this unit to anyone looking to head to Panama City Beach. You can't beat the two large gulf front pools and hot tubs. The beach is not as crowded at this building as it is at others. Overall excellent place to stay.
 

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful unit. The condo was very clean & we all loved the view from the extra large(and well furnished)balcony. We watched dolphins play in the gulf everyday! Ross & Susan were very helpful in every way possible. The attention to detail is where this unit really shines! I've visited PCB annually for the last 23 yrs.& cannot remember having a better maintained condo than this one!! Ross & Susan are champs in our book! We hope to book with them again SOON! As for Gulf Crest itself,all I can say is it's a first class operation.The staff there is second to none & go out of there way to ensure you a great vacation..

Great condo for a quiet beach getaway

My husband and I and my sister and her husband stayed in this condo over Labor Day weekend 2013. The views from the master bedroom and living / dining areas were amazing. I loved the wall of windows in the living room area and the sliding glass door in the master bedroom. The balcony stretches across the entire front wall of the condo and it's amazingly wide. Coffee out on the balcony in the morning was so relaxing. In addition to a huge master bath, and a second bath which is accessible from the second bedroom, I loved the fact the bunk beds are hidden away in a closet in the dining room area across from the sliding glass door and anyone sleeping there has the opportunity to enjoy the ocean view and breeze in the evening. I also cannot thank the owners, Ross and Susan, enough for being so wonderful and so accommodating. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay by contacting the property management on our behalf to ensure we had a hassle free check in and by working with us on the arrangements. We definitely hope to stay in this condo again whenever we visit PCB. The location, the condo, and the property amenities made for a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you again Ross and Susan!! We truly enjoyed our mini-vacation away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. :-) I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a comfortable condo with a beautiful view of the ocean and a balcony big enough to enjoy socializing with family and friends. The mattresses were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was very big and very clean, the master bathroom was huge and the bathrooms were very clean, and overall it was a nice place to stay. We enjoyed it.
 

This was our first beach trip in 2 years and it was wonderful! This unit is fantastic! We have two small children and this unit was very kid-friendly. The views are amazing!! I can't say enough about how responsive the owner was. He was always available and responded quickly to any questions I had. This condo is conveniently located on Thomas Drive and close to everything. The two pools are also great! Even in the middle of summer, during the middle of the day, you could still get in the pool. Overall, I highly recommend this unit! You are in excellent hands with this owner! We can't wait to return next year!!
