You'll love that you can sit right outside your condo, sipping a cool beverage of your choice, watching your loved ones having the time of their lives. The pool closes in the evening, so it is nice and quiet when you only want to hear the sound of the surf lull you to sleep.

This ground level condo is absolutely gorgeous!  
With new upscale beach-cottage decor, you feel as though you are staying in a first rate beach cottage, but with all the amenities of a first class condo. 

Fantastic view from kitchen! Remodelers 'opened up' the kitchen and removed the small overhead cabinets and large hall closet that blocked the ocean view!
Added extra custom cherry cabinets (lots of kitchen storage space) in kitchen and baths, and smooth marble countertops in the kitchen and both baths.

Enjoy watching the new 50' LG flat screen TV from the plush, comfy sofa (sofa sleeper accommodates 2) and matching love seat in the Living Room. Open the sliding doors and listen. The ocean's calling your name!

There's a small book library too - filled with good "beach reads" for you to borrow during your stay.  

When we stop in the office, we usually find some "free-sample" personal items too, so stop by, say hello, and see what's available. Advice on the best nearby places to eat is free!!!

If you love making trips into St. Andrews State Park by car, so you can stay and play and explore the pristine beaches of Shell Island…you may want to join a non-profit organization called FRIENDS OF ST ANDREWS.

Besides making a contribution so the volunteer members can continue to make improvements to the park for the benefit of all who visit, you will receive a membership card for 12 visits annually to St Andrews State Park. WIN-WIN!
For a family, that averages a little over $2 per vehicle/visit.
Normal gate admission is $8 per vehicle/visit.
You can google them, and join online, so you will have your card during your visit!

Sorry, no smoking (not even on our balcony).
We are happy that Moonspinner is now a NON_SMOKING facility and does not allow smoking at the pool, grilling/picnic areas and all common areas! 
No pets - there are kennels nearby.
(We have a highly sensitive grandchild, so it would be a hardship to us if you bring a service animal. Thank you for understanding.)
We do NOT rent to under 25 without parents, who must be present the entire rental period.

WE HAVE A NEW FAVORITE!”
We've been coming to PCB forever. Like, FOREVER. And have stayed at nearly every condo between St Andrew's Pier and Carillon Beach. In the past, pretty much any old place would do. But now that we have small children, we have a whole laundry list of preferences/requirements: First floor unit; easy beach access; easy pool access (but not so easy that a determined toddler can make his way in unannounced); washer/dryer in unit; a family-friendly, non-Spring-Breakish atmosphere; super-extra-ultra-mega-clean; and generally a place where we can settle in feel at home. 

Flip Flops on the Moon was that, and more. The owners were so nice and accommodating. The unit was tastefully decorated -- which is astonishingly rare in beach condos, for some reason. (No hideous floor-to-ceiling-wall-to-wall mirrors that force you to admire/criticize yourself at all times; thank you for that!) Kitchen was especially lovely. The entire space was well appointed, and not overrun with knick-knacks that would require frantic babyproofing. What else
Convenient baskets for (what else
) flip flops minimized sand getting into everything. There were TONS of great beach toys for the kids, as well as books and videos.

Flip Flops on the Moon was immaculate. I was 100% comfortable letting my little ones crawl around, and I never once got the germy heebie-jeebies. (Fellow germophobes, you all know what I'm talking about.) 

But the best part
Such close proximity to the beach, and the beach chairs. When you have little kids, theres a lot of frequent schlepping to and from, with lots of stuff. In the past, this was always a sweaty chore that usually meant negotiating lots of steep stairs while balancing beach bags and babies. But at FFotM, it was a breeze! Step off the patio and take an easy stroll down the boardwalk. There you are! We loved being so close to St. Andrews State Park, and -- in the other direction -- our favorite beachside restaurant, Schooners. 

To sum up, we have found our beach home in Flip Flops on the Moon. I intend for my family to return as often as possible, and to continue making wonderful memories here. Thank you so much to the owners and managers for their generous hospitality!

CANCELLATION POLICY 
A $300 deposit is due at the time of booking, and the rental balance is due 60 days in advance of check in.
Your $300 reservation deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 60 days prior to your scheduled check in date, at which point it becomes your damage deposit which is fully refundable within 14 days of check out provided no damage reported or late check out. 
The rent (including cleaning and taxes) is due at least 60 days prior to your scheduled check in date, and is fully refundable if you cancdel at least 60 days prior to your scheduled check in date.
If you cancel within 60 days of check in, your rent is non-refundable.
Trip cancellation insurance is available if this is a concern. I cannot recommend a specific policy, but there are many plans available and you can research them on the internet.
I recommend one that has a CFAR policy. (Cancel for any reason:)
We also require a signed rental agreement.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
This Rental Agreement requires your signature of acceptance. You must sign the Rental Agreement where indicated as “Lessee”, and print your name below your signature. Since you are the person accepting responsibility, be sure that all persons who will be sharing the facility with you are familiar with the rules and limitations pertaining to the facility.

This total is due at least 60 days prior to check in, and is non-refundable if your reservation is cancelled within 60 days of check in for any reason. 
You have the option to purchase trip cancellation insurance if this is a concern. Late check out will result in loss of your damage deposit.
 
$300 Damage Deposit: Your deposit will be refunded within 14 days of check out, provided the condo is maintained in the same condition as it was found, reasonable wear and tear accepted, and no late checkout. Cooking areas shall be left as clean as they were upon arrival, and the floor swept clean of food crumbs. Failure to do so will result in additional cleaning or repair charges deducted from your damage deposit.  Prior to your possession, we have taken a detailed inventory of the contents of the facility. Lessee agrees to replace or pay for losses, breakage or damage should such occur. 
LIMITATIONS:   
NO SMOKING, E-CIGARETTES, OR VAPOR PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED IN THE CONDO OR ON THE BALCONY. 
PETS:   NO PETS ALLOWED.
AGE:  We do not rent to anyone under age 25 without parents or guardian present during the entire stay.  Violations will result in forfeiture of the $300 deposit and eviction without refund. 
MAINTENANCE – Lessee shall allow maintenance access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection.  During your stay, promptly report all maintenance items and we will respond to them as soon as possible. Refunds are not made for inclement weather, lack of public utilities, the unavailability of private community amenities, mechanical failures or malfunctioning equipment.  There is no guarantee that pool will be heated. These amenities are extras provided in addition to the condominium rental.
CONSTRUCTION – Construction and repair may be adjacent to or near this vacation rental property. You may reserve this property at a time when no construction or repair is nearby, but construction or repair could begin prior to your arrival or during your stay. 
 
SECURITY- Lessor is not responsible for lost, stolen, or items left behind.  Lock your car doors and keep the condo doors locked when you are away. 
HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given unless the state or local authorities order a mandatory evacuation. We will refund any unused portion of your rent from the date that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation, until the order is lifted.  If you are scheduled to arrive during a mandatory evacuation, we will refund the unused portion of your rent if you want to shorten your stay and come in after the mandatory evacuation order is lifted. No refunds for dates that there was no mandatory evacuation.
 
OCCUPANCY: To ensure your safety we cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of more than 8 persons permitted in or about the facility at any time. This includes persons of all ages (babies, children, adults) and visitors. If we determine that the number of permitted guests has been exceeded we will terminate this lease and ask you to leave the premises without refund.

This was a first time for myself and my guests. Normally we head to South Florida (Pompano Beach Area). Flip Flops is located in a great location, semi-secluded, the condo was beautiful, large spacious open floor plan, decorated like a beach home should look and everything you could possibly need in the condo. Being on the first floor is definitely a plus, you have instant access to the pool and beach area. The guard was fantastic and helpful as could be. Restaurants and shopping were close and it didn't take long to navigate through town without the GPS. Sharon Campbell has always been a pleasure to deal with and always makes you feel welcome in her homes. We'll definitely be returning.

To quote my 11 year old granddaughter, "best vacation ever!" Flip Flops was even more lovely and spacious than we had anticipated. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Being located on the first floor was so convenient, and we enjoyed visiting St. Andrews Park, next to the condos. The location made it easy to drive to our favorite restaurants; Capt. Anderson's, Pineapple Willie's and Uncle Ernie's, as well as fun shopping spots. The beach chairs/umbrella were only a few steps away, so we spent many hours on the beautiful beach. Our only regret was that we had only book the condo for one week... we were not ready to leave! The owner, Sharon Campbell, is great to deal with. We are looking forward to our next trip and have already recommended Flip Flops to a number of friends and family members. Thank you, Sharon and Terry for sharing your lovely condo with us.

Flip Flops was everything we expected it to be and more. We loved the fact that the condo is on the ground floor and right in front of the pool. Everything is beautifully decorated and very clean. 

During our stay, a hurricane formed and threatened the area. The Moonspinner staff was terrific in securing the property and calming other residents fears of the storm. Thankfully, it turned and left us alone.

The best part of all is the condo owner. She was always available and provided prompt answers. We look forward to our next visit and will definitely be staying at Flip Flops in the future. Thank you Sharon.

Lots of room and beautifully decorated ! First floor definitely a plus ! Location is perfect just steps to pool, beach, and hot tub. Umbrella chairs were great. We rented kayaks and the kids had great time. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Everyone is so friendly ! My favorite time was in the morning before everyone was up sitting on the patio listening to the gentle waves, watching the moon go down, drinking my coffee and reading a book. It is a great place and the owner is very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Flip Flops on the Moon !! Thanks Sharon !

We have stayed at the Moonspinner for about 30 years. We always stay on the first floor, giving up our "view" for the convenience of the ground level. This condo is recently renovated and updated. We had a good time and we were not ready to come home.

No refunds will be given unless the state or local authorities order a mandatory evacuation. We will refund any unused portion of your rent from the date that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation, until the order is lifted.  If you are scheduled to arrive during a mandatory evacuation, we will refund the unused portion of your rent if you want to shorten your stay and come in after the mandatory evacuation order is lifted. No refunds for dates that there was no mandatory evacuation.
