This home is absolutely AMAZING! From the moment we walked in and saw the view, we knew we had made the perfect choice for our vacation. The home is decorated beautifully, the furniture was clean and comfortable. The sectional sofa provided plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably and watch a movie after a long day on the beach. The kitchen was so spacious with plenty of room for everyone to make their lunch at the same time. The dining table also provided a great place for family board games after dinner. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and very nice en suite bathrooms. The beach was steps off the back deck and not crowded at all, which is exactly what we love. We used the grill several times and enjoyed parking our car under the house. This property exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Cannot think of one thing that wasn’t perfect! Dee was very responsive and available with any questions and provided lots of information and suggestions for lots of things to do locally. We will definitely come back again!

We have rented this home for the past two years and it is fabulous! The home is clean, well stocked and everyone is able to sleep in a bed! The beach is beautiful and not crowded like it is in front of condominiums. Dee is a fabulous host that will respond quickly to any questions that you may have.

We have stayed at this home 10 times now we love it that much! From the amazing views to the privacy of the beach yet close to everything, it's all great. You can walk down the beach to restaurants.This home has everything you need to enjoy an amazing beach vacation. It's so convenient and easy for us to get our kayaks to the water and enjoy fishing or just playing with the dolphins. We come back every year and sometimes twice a year. Owners are quick to respond to any questions. We will be returning for years to come!!!!

Our family stayed for a week last June and are coming back in July for another week. The home is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We especially love the living area where all of us can hang comfortably. We have 6 adults and a teenager. Gorgeous white sand beach, crystal clear water and beautiful views from two decks. You can't go wrong with this beautiful property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Once Upon a Tide! It is absolutely beautiful, and it was so nice not being on a crowded beach. We were the only ones on the beach in front of the house for the entire week. The house was welcoming and comfortable, and the care and attention to detail to accommodate guests was much appreciated. I completely agree with other reviews that Dee is a delightful and accommodating person to work with in every regard. Hopefully, we’ll have the opportunity to come back for a future stay!

My wife and I have been going to Florida panhandle locations for decades, so we have many experiences to draw upon. So believe us when we say that you won't do better than "Once Upon a Tide." It's in a great location, with a great beach and the house is everything you would want. The house is kept in wonderful condition and the amenities are exactly what anyone needs. And let me be quick to add that Dee is a delightful and accommodating person to work with in every regard. Finally, if you are concerned about COVID exposure, this place is your answer. Even in early July, the beach in front of the house was nearly "private" and social distancing was no problem. Book it, and have a great family time.

We have had a great time staying at your house last week. We spent most of our time on the decks enjoying the ocean / beach. We have stayed in several areas of the panhandle, but this was our first trip to the Perdido Key area, and the five of us really enjoyed it. The serenity of this beach front home was awesome. Thanks for the hospitality. Your house is very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing week. We will definitely be back.

My family has stayed up and down the gulf coast, but this place has by far been our favorite stay. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The views are fantastic and the beach is very private - we rarely saw anyone even walking the beach in front of the house. Close enough to several markets and restaurants. We took a quick trip to Gulf Shores for some things to do with the kiddos like Go-Carts (I recommend "The Track"). We also used "Littleheads Kayak Rental" which is right up the road from the house on the bay. I highly suggest this to anyone vacationing here, as we were able to kayak out to 4 different islands. One of the main highlights of our trip. Dee was so helpful right from the first phone call. Professional and very friendly. She made us feel very welcome at her home and supplied us with a TON of information about the area. I look forward to renting from her again in the future. ONCE UPON A TIDE is unit A on the west side of the Duplex offering Lots of room for your family and the LUXURY of an UNCROWDED, PRIVATE beach. This beach home is located in a low density area of Perdido Key so you never have to run out before 7am to claim your piece of sand! It is fully furnished with everything your family needs to enjoy a relaxing week at the beach. Home has 3 large bedrooms, plus Hall Bunks, 3.5 baths with over 2500 sq feet of indoor living space, two gulf facing balconies and a large ground level grilling/dining/gaming area. 3BR/3.5BA + Hall Bunks Sleeps 12 in Beds! Each bedroom has an ensuite bath.
The Living Room and Master Bedroom have expansive, unobstructed views of the glistening Gulf of Mexico, with spacious balconies on both levels. The ground level offers extra dining and entertainment space featuring a built in park style bbq grill, grill side table with sink, picnic table and space for playing games! We have a corn hole game, and tiki toss under the house to enjoy while grilling and chilling in the shade after a day on the beach :)
Fully equipped kitchen features a large island/breakfast bar with seating for four, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances. Dining table seats six.
• Living room features a large wet coffee/cocktail bar with mini fridge and a 55" flat screen smart TV and DVD player.

*SPECIAL NOTES: this is a 3 story elevated beach home without an elevator. This home is not handicapped accessible and is not suitable for those with mobility issues. There is a 1/2 bath on the main floor, but no sleeping accommodations on the main floor. Two bedrooms with king sizes beds and the hall bunks are located on the 2nd level, and another extra large bedroom and bathroom are on the third level. The boardwalk that can be seen in some photos is not accessible from this unit. Use the footpath for the short walk to the beach.
