Windemere - Beachfront 4th Floor!, Perdido Key, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

This was the second stay my family has had with Karin. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the unit and host. I always prefer to rent from an owner instead of a rental company. This trip we did a large family vacation, with each individual family getting their own condo within Windemere. You can definitely tell a HUGE difference from renting privately with Karin to a rental company. The unit is so comfortable and well cared for. The unit has everything you could need/want and is very clean. She is very thoughtful in providing numerous attractions, fun free/cheap things to do and great restaurant suggestions. My daughter keeps asking when we can go back to Mrs. Karin’s house! My answer is, not soon enough!

We have stayed many times in the past in the Orange Beach Perdido Key area, and found the Windmere to our liking. The beach is great, and we would not hesitate to stay again.

We have rented several beach condos for vacations throughout the years and our experience here was the best. The condo was well maintained, clean, and felt more like home than a rental unit. The beach is absolutely beautiful and much slower than nearby Orange Beach. We also were able to enjoy watching the Blue Angels from the beach on Wednesday. Karin was great to work with and provided us with worthwhile recommendations on what to do during our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

What a great spot in a tranquil part of the panhandle. Karin did an excellent job having everything you need to know conveniently organized. We also loved all the information she left for things to do from Pensacola to Orange Beach. Really cares about making sure her guests are not only comfortable at the beach but in the area too! Third bedroom is small but allowing the kids to have their own personal space in a three bedroom for the price was awesome! Will definitely book again.

This condo is AMAZING! It was perfect for my family of four (including 2 small kiddos)-plenty of room and extremely well stocked- things you don’t find often in rentals. It was SUPER clean and very comfortable (all beds and sofa). Karin made the entire process from booking to departure a breeze. She was also incredibly helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We loved it so much; we have already booked again for next summer!

This was our first trip to Perdido key and we loved it! It’s hard to know what to expect when renting on line but the reviews for this condo were so good that I decided to give it a try and it was a great choice! Karin is just as wonderful and easy to work with as everyone said. The condo was clean and spacious with fabulous views and no unpleasant surprises. It is just as lovely as in the pictures. It is very relaxing with comfy beds. Many times I will get a backache when traveling but not here! We never had to wait for the elevator and it was a quick ride up to fourth floor. We all commented that we could live there forever. Karin, if you ever want to sell please reach out ??

I just recently stayed here with my parents and young son. We had the best week at Karin's condo. I've been going to the gulf for about 20 years now every summer and this was absolutely one of the best condo's I've ever stayed out. It was very clean and had a lot of "extra's" that most condo's don't. Especially kitchen supplies. It actually felt like we were a guest at someone's home and not just another vacation renter. We also loved how large the patio was and how close the unit was to the elevator. Karin was great to work with before we arrived and gave me very detailed information about our arrival and things to do in the area which I appreciated. The condo also comes with a designated parking spot in the garage which was perfect. We really did have a great stay and we hope to return next summer!

I’m happy to say our week in the condo was very enjoyable. We were a party of 6 yet weren’t crowded at all. The accommodations were lovely decorated and comfortable. We had a little issue that the owner promptly took care of. In fact, the owner did her best to make sure everything went smoothly during our stay. All in all a great condo, very nice owners, beautiful view of beach and gulf. I’d recommend this condo for a fun & fabulous beach trip.

This was the perfect condo for our family. The view from the balcony is outstanding. In addition, the rooms are spacious and accommodations are excellent. The condo is centrally located to all that is taking place in Perdido Key. Our family loves this condo and is trying to figure out when we can return.

This unit was spacious with everything you need down to extras linenes amd plenty of kitchen accessories for coffee amd cooking! Large Balcony with seating for a large family! We love being on the 4th floor. Pool is directly below the unit which was good for us because we could always check on our older kids but the noise was never too loud. It was just right. Elevators where fast! Ice machine on 3rd floor was a bonus.

We needed a little time away from stress and this definitely gave us that. Plenty of room well stocked and well taken care of. Balcony was great to enjoy sitting out on listening to waves hitting the beach and enjoying the breeze. We will be coming back.....

My Mother (88), Sister, Aunt and I came down to celebrate her birthday. We loved the condo, the ocean access, pool and everything about the trip. Karin was amazing to work with and kept us informed and up to date on the local happenings. Photos don’t do this immaculately clean condo justice.

The decision to go to Perdido Key was last minute as my husband and I found ourselves alone for a few days while our kids went on a vacation with my sister. We were not disappointed in the condo, location, or the kindness of the owner. The condo was nicely decorated and clean. As this was my first experience with ECBYO, I have had an easy and quick transaction and rental agreement experience. Also being my first time to the area, we ventured out about the island and nearby cities. 20 minutes east or west you can enjoy the night life or restaurants and then still have relaxation and peacefulness at the condo. I would definitely recommend Karin & Windemere 402.

Amazing beach front rental with great floor plan. Fully stocked kitchen and baths. Easy access to the beach and pool. Dedicated parking space was an added bonus. Karin was easily available before and during stay. Very comfortable beds. Loved our stay in this unit!

We had a lovely stay at Karin’s well appointed condo. Location is perfect, the beach is deep, very few stairs required for access. The condo is well keep and very well appointed with small extras that I have never seen in other properties after renting properties at the beach for over 30 years. This was the cleanest condo we have checked into in memory. We will most certainly return., and we look forward to another great visit.

My sister and I recently stayed for the third time at Karin’s lovely condo. As always, Karin is a joy to work with and the condo is always in first class condition. The location and view is perfect. I have been renting vacation homes in the area for 25 years and this is my favorite place to stay. I feel like it is my “home” each fall,

: My husband and I have visited this condo three times...the location which is much quieter and less congested on the beach than other condos we have rented..Karin’s condo is on the fourth floor which is a perfect height to take in everything on the beach.. nice large and private balcony..we saw dolphins playing several times. Every morning we loved watching the seagulls, sandpipers, pelicans and herons. At night the sunsets were spectacular! This condo is very nicely decorated and has plenty of room for a family. The master bath is nice and large. The condo is very well stocked and convenient. We can’t say enough nice things about this place.

This condo is just what we needed to have an awesome week at the beach. The cleanliness of the condo was excellent. It was beautifully decorated, had comfortable furniture and beds, and was well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The view from the large balcony was amazing as was the plush seating. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Karin was wonderful to work with and made the booking process so easy. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay in her second home was effortless. Karin also provides recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. I hope to stay here again and would highly recommend Karin and Windemere #402.

We have stayed in this condo several times and each time it feels like going back to a great friend with so many memories made here! The condo is beautiful with some new upgrades that make it even better. The beds are super comfortable which is great for someone like myself that has a bad back. Karin is a wonderful owner that is great to communicate with. I promise that you will not be disappointed with this condo. There is a reason she has 5 star reviews! Counting down to our next visit!

My family stayed at Karin's condo on spring break. Karin is so nice and amazing to work with! The condo was lovely, tastefully decorated, and very clean! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, which was much appreciated since we cooked most of our meals. The master bath was elegant and had an extra large counter with lots of storage. My husband and I slept wonderfully in the master bedroom's king size bed. The second bedroom and bunk room provided plenty of space for my son, my daughter and my daughter's friend (all teenagers). The slider in the living room provides a spectacular view of the ocean. The large balcony had several chairs and a love seat, which allowed us all to sit out there together and enjoy the amazing view. Drinking my coffee and reading a book on the balcony was a great way to start each day, followed up with a walk on the beach. We were even lucky enough one morning to see dolphins playing in the ocean- what an unexpected treat! We loved the convenience of being on the fourth floor-- close to the pool and close to the beach. My kids loved the pool and the hot tub and the beach was never crowded. We had a riot hunting crabs at night on the beach. We did touristy stuff in the mornings and evenings and spent the afternoons on the beach. We walked many paths in Gulf Shores State Park and even saw a gator, went to the zoo, Alligator Alley, the Wharf, the pier, Pensacola light house, Fort Barrancas, and a dolphin cruise. Amazingly fun and relaxing vacation!

First, enough can't be said about the owners of this unit, and how nice and helpful they were through the entire experience. We stayed the day after Hurricane Michael hit Panama City Beach, so obviously there was lots of confusion. Karin kept us abreast of everything going on down there, and immediately responded to all of my inquiries. Again, just great people to deal with. The condo itself was perfect. It was clean, well decorated, and just had absolutely beautiful views of the ocean. This was our first trip to Perdido Key, and it will definitely not be the last. It is a beautiful area, with a little less commotion than Pensacola and Gulf Shores (which Perdido sits basically right in the middle of). And when we come back, we will check availability on this condo first! A great experience all the way around!

This condo was great. It had everything we needed. It was well maintained, very clean and the beds were soooo comfortable. The outside balcony was large and had great seating. We were out there as much as we were in the condo. The pool is a nice size and it's easy to get to the beach. Karin was very easy to work with and answered all our questions very quickly. A terrific experience and one that I would highly recommend. Thanks so much, Karin for sharing your slice of heaven with us.

Condo was perfect! Great views of the beach with a relaxing balcony! Amenities were top notch. Comfy beds and nice big shower with awesome showerhead in master bath. The extra additions such as the movies, books, games and beach towels were a nice added surprise. This was our first stay in Perdido Key but will not be our last! Karin was very fast and friendly to work with! We would love to stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful condo. The unit was very clean and wonderfully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing. Karin, the owner, was very easy to deal with and available to answer any questions. Very easy rental process. Our family will stay here again!

Karin is a terrific person to do business with. She is very personable and organized. The condo is very nice and beautiful with good quality furniture and mattresses. Hands down, it was the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in. Parking and elevators were very convenient. The atmosphere was mostly family oriented. Publix was just over the bridge within 2 miles. Lillian's Pizza across the street was fantastic ( and I am a pizza snob). The beach was easy to access and not too crowded.

Karin, the owner is Great easy to work with, She is very Friendly & Helpful!! Condo #402 is "Great.. Very Nice.. & Clean".. It has everything you need and so much more!! PLUS.. 100% Comfy beds for sure!! Wonderful location and Great Ocean View!! Amazing family vaction, where many Memories were made.. Thanks so much for sharing it with us Karin!! Our family will surely return..!!

Karin was very pleasurable and professional to work with; we had been looking for a unit for our kids and a couple of their friends to stay during Spring Break 2018. Karin was the ONLY owner/manager who would even talk with us. She gave us detailed requests and rules, we followed them and the reward was well worth it!!! Best vacation our kids have ever had. The unit was immaculate, location was superb and Karin delivered on all promised. We will most definitely return to her condo, it will be our first choice for Florida vacationing.

We are a family of 5 and this was our first lengthy vacation anywhere other than visiting family. We looked at a lot of properties online before choosing this one. For us, what sealed the deal was the built in bunk beds. We had great communication and assistance from the owner throughout - booking, pre-stay, during, and afterward. The property was very well taken care of and the unit was wonderfully decorated and furnished. If you're eating in, there is everything you could want in the kitchen, and a large table to accommodate up to 6 eaters at the table and 3 bar stools as well. The laundry in the unit was very helpful to us to wash suits and minimize packing. The beds were very comfortable, and the balcony with views of the gulf was magical. We saw dolphins regularly, and had great weather during our stay. We visited other beaches during our stay including a day in Destin. We also spent a day on Santa Rosa Island across the bay which was fantastic. With that said, the beach right out from the condo was actually the best beach we visited. It is very clean and a great place to swim and float. We would highly recommend this property and this unit in particular.

What a great place to spend a vacation! The condo is very nicely decorated with all the features you could possibly want! The kitchen has all the utensils and pots/pans to cook. The walk-in shower and double sinks are a nice touch in the master bathroom. Lots of extra towels in each bathroom. 3 TVs and wi-fi. The balcony has comfortable cushioned furniture to enjoy a direct view of the beach and Gulf. You will find that walking the beach is a quiet and relaxing activity any time of the day!

Absolutely loved Karin's "second home!" Chose this lovely condo for our Labor Day getaway and we could not have chosen a nicer place to relax. Traveling to this condo was a breeze. No issues with parking. We had all amenities we needed at our disposal. Access to the beach was easy and quick. We thoroughly enjoyed our mornings and evenings on Karin's balcony, watching the brown pelicans and the dolphins. Oh! For the pizza enthusiast.....do not pass up visiting Lillian's Pizza across the street! We sampled five different pizzas and some pasta and were not disappointed. Delizioso!!!

Very nice, well kept condo in a great location. This unit is well-decorated and a notch above many we've rented. The 4th floor convenience makes the beach just steps away but still gives a nice view from the balcony. The condo is well-equipped kitchen-wise and the 2-bedrooms + unique "bunk" room can accommodate a good size family.

Absolutely amazing place; beautiful decor and view. No disappointment await your arrival. Completely satisfied with the condo.

We have stayed in Perdido before and love the easy, laid back atmosphere there. It remains a bit of the "old" Florida and isn't way to overgrown and busy. Karin's condo is perfect. Very nice, spacious, clean and stocked with everything you will need. She answers any and all questions beforehand and even during your stay if needed. You may want to check the fridge before going to the store because many staple items are there.👍� We enjoyed local places. Lillian's Pizza across the street is great, Shrimp Basket, the Snowball stand, went to Jazzercise, and visited the State Park overlook tower. There are plenty of things to keep you busy when in the area. If night life is really what you want, The Jellyfish is nearby or Orange Beach is very close. We really enjoyed the Gulf Restaurant just over the bridge and Cobalt's as well. The condo and area are perfect. Karin has a great place and you will make wonderful memories here. We always love staying here, it's spacious with everything you need for your stay. We love the area and try to stay here whenever we can. It's right on the beach and has a pool plus a hot tub. I suggest this rental to everyone I know! Karin and Reggie are the best!

We love this condo... it was our second year to stay... very clean , nicely decorated. We felt right at home! We will definitely stay again.

We have been going to the Gulf Coast for over 30 years straight. Mostly Panama City or on 30 A . We have stayed both, on the beach, and off the beach. This was our first time in Perdido Key. I have only talked to the owner on the phone, but feel like I know her! She, "Karin", was so accommodating, and made everything so easy! We normally go to the beach with a bigger crowd of 9 to 10 of us, but this time we only had 6 of us. We had five adults and one child, and were extremely comfortable! In the past years our stays have been in upper scaled condos, or rental homes. "Karin's" condo was superior in several different ways. Most enjoyable balcony we've ever sat on! No sun in your eyes, and a great breeze every morning, and of all of the years never had we seen the Dolphins play as they did every day! Inside the unit was very clean and well decorated and taken care of! The condo had great air-conditioning, very comfortable beds, frig was very cold, which we enjoyed! Not having to keep up with a door key, the non-keyed door was very convenient for all six of us! Thank you Karin, for helping us slow down and relax for a week! It was great!!!! Thank you so much! Everything was great. It's a home away from home. The high ceilings and the large balcony doors make it feel very spacious. It's beautifully decorated. The pictures do not do it any justice. And the mattress just topped off the relaxation we experienced the entire trip. Karin was easy to communicate with from beginning to end. The property is well maintained. The maintenance crew was very attentive to details that are often overlooked at other places we have stayed at in the past. I highly recommend Lillian's Pizza across the street ... and yes they deliver across the street. We hope to return for future getaways.

We loved the Perdido Key area! The condo itself was very nicely furnished. We loved having reserved, covered parking that we didn't have to pay extra for. The immediate area does not have side-to-side buildings so it wasn't too crowded yet you're a short 15 min drive to Tacky Jack's and other Orange Beach restaurants. Karin was wonderful to work with, providing information before our arrival about things to do in the area, possible parking garage maintenance that may have impacted us, and very timely providing our refund after department. We will definitely stay in this condo again!

This was an awesome experience from start to finish. Condo is amazing. Karin (the owner)was very helpful with everything. Lee with security was super nice and Daryl with maintenance was very helpful with additional parking pass. We will definitely go back.

Our family spent Spring Break 2017 in this gorgeous condo. It was spotless, clean, updated, comfortable and roomy. The owners were great to work with and were very responsive. We had the AC off with sliders open catching the ocean breeze and the ocean views. It was a perfect family week of fun and sun and dolphin watching and great food!!

This is a beautiful and very comfortable place... I love the colorful fiesta dishes and palletes of orange, turquoise, and yellow scattered throughout the condo.. The owner is extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with .. We hope to stay here again someday !! Thank you, Karin !!!

We stayed for 4 days with our son’s family (and young granddaughters – so the “bunk room” was renamed the “fun room.”) Condo was very clean, well decorated, plus the keypad door works great! Very nice balcony with comfortable furniture. Windemere is a great place. The owner was great to work with - very responsive before, during and after our stay. Definitely recommend!

Very spacious condo with huge outdoor balcony. Condo is as advertised with very comfortable beds and well equipped for all your needs. We loved the floor to ceiling windows that had ocean views from almost every room. The owners made renting a seamless process and were extremely prompt and available from beginning to end. They also provided many restaurant recommendations as well as things to do in the area. Highly recommended!

We stayed here over Spring Break with our teenage daughters. Great size condo, great location, great view and awesome owner! Karin went above and beyond to make the experience amazing! The huge balcony with comfy furniture was our favorite place to hang out and watch the dolphins (and the people!). We will definitely be back!

We have been coming to this condo for several years and it is just perfect. Cannot think of anything that could be improved. Just returned today from a four day stay. This condo is beautiful and very well maintained!! A delight to wake up and be able to hear the ocean! It was also SO nice to have comfortable furniture on the balcony to sit and enjoy the ocean - most Owners don't understand that! We loved the convenience and everything worked out great. I've booked numerous vacations on VRBO and Karin Harper was a 10 out of 10 when it came to communication and ease to work with. You won't be disappointed!

We rented the unit for 5 days and have nothing but positive things to stay about the unit and the whole condo. Everything in the unit was clean and functioning, and the development is well kept and staff are friendly. Facilities are not over crowded and the location is fantastic. The owner was a pleasure to work with too!

We have stayed in several condos along the coast and this one was by far a favorite. The condo was beautiful, and was nicely furnished with and had cheerful, bright colors. The owners stock it with anything that you might need -- there was even a citrus juicer, which came in handy when it was time to make a key lime pie. The owners are wonderful to work with (very responsive and thoughtful) and they sent us a useful packet of information on the area ahead of our stay. Wonderful location, beautiful view, easy access to pool and beach -- it was the prefect base for our long weekend with the kids. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning!

My family and I lucked up on this condominium when someone else cancelled. What luck for us! The complex is great, conducive for family fun. The biggest surprise was the condo and the way we felt at home immediately. The sheets fit! The furnishings are comfortable and inviting. The owner allows certain condiments to be left, saving a trip to the store for some items. They leave beach chairs and towels for renter use. It is all very easy and relaxed to begin the stay and when leaving. What you see in the VRBO photos is only a glimpse of what you get. I would heartily recommend this unit to anyone for renting. The owner even checked travel routes for traffic avoidance. I thank them for helping make this week one of the best ever. I look forward to staying there again.
