Seaview provides a fantastic beach getaway! The layout and the generous amenities of the house are great. The deck views of the ocean are beautiful. My family enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub after a day at the beach. I’m very impressed with the detailed communication with the owner, David. He is a super nice guy to work with. I’m so glad I chose Seaview as our home base on SGI!
Amy and family...I am go glad you had a nice family vacation at Seaview. I do think that one of the keys to a good experience is communication so I do try my best to keep our guests informed. Our heat pump pool heater seems to do a good job and we offer free pool heat in Mar, Apl, May and in Sept, Oct, & Nov. Other months, we can try pool heat for a fee IF the weather cooperates!

We made a whole week of memories with SEAVIEW as no our home away from home. The adults and kiddos were all happy. We had all the amenities of home and a bonus pool! We played hard and slept good. Thanks to The Crenshaws for a great place to stay on SGI. AND THE WET PART? we entered the 4th parade and we laughed and screamed the whole parade route. Hope to see you next year.
Yes Seaview is a place to make family memories! and the July 4th water gun parade is just indescribable!

Our family of 5 just got back from a relaxing, fun vacation at SeaView. This was our second stay and plan to come back next year. The home is perfect for our family. The home has everything you need. We enjoy the pool and hot tub. The walk to the beach is an easy walk. The views of the ocean are amazing from the home and the porches. Close to center of the island , it’s a great location. Communication with the owner is great, they are quick to respond. You will enjoy your stay at SeaView.

This is our 3rd stay and we always enjoy the awesome space, outdoor area and the convenience to the little shopping area. David is always responsive to questions and quick to help with anything that might come up. You wont be disappointed if you book a stay at Seaview!

This is our third time at Seawview and it never disappoints The pool is nice and it is only a short walk to the beach. From the front porch, you can enjoy your morning coffee And view the ocean waves. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The restaurants in St. George are amazing and if you plan on cooking in the kitchen is stocked with everything you need

This is our second time staying at Seaview, but the first time our youngest daughter has been with us. As a man that doesn’t really care for the beach experience, the sight of seeing her face, our other children’s faces and Heathers face the entire week was worth everything to me. Yes this time of year is great for the hot tub and the pool is heated at no costs to you for the months of Mar, Apr, & May, and Sept, Oct, & Nov. In addition to no pool heat fee, I still do not charge a cleaning fee or booking fee. I just think folks do not want to be "fee'd to death"!

Our love for SGI includes this house. It is perfect for 8 of us. We tend to “eat in” when staying and everything we needed to grill, roast and bake was at our fingertips. Having the beach towels available is a bonus so that we have 8 less things to pack. There was plenty of room at the kitchen table for all of us to eat and play 5 crowns every night. We love the pool and played many games of beachball volleyball. We enjoyed our morning coffee with a gorgeous view from the balcony. The location was great for access to the beach, island center and sunsets on the bay. There was plenty of room to park cars and golf carts. We appreciated the communication from David prior to arrival and then making sure all was good once we arrived. Our stay was definitely 5 ??.

Sea view was the perfect home for our family stay. Upon arrival the home was immaculately clean. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking in some nights. Plenty of room for all of us to enjoy one another’s company. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. The home was walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed views of the ocean from the outdoor porches and the hammock. Communication with owner was easy and very professional. We definitely plan on booking another stay.

This is the reason that I discontinued VRBO..they no longer allow you and I to communicate so that you get all of your questions and concerns handled.

Our family really had a great time at Seaview and SGI. Everything was clean up-to-date and provided as advertised. We enjoyed the covered porches and the hammock up top. The pool was very much enjoyed and it was a short walk to the beach. Very nice state park just down the road and it was a beautiful place for family pictures at sunset. We were close enough to the town center we could walk and bike to the shops and restaurants. We are already getting plans for a return trip to SGI and Seaview.
Lee and family...thanks for your comments. We do have a new cleaner so I am glad to hear again that she is doing a great job! We are pretty close to the shops and restaurants..about a mile walk on the 10 mile long walking/bike path. Hope you are able to return to Seaview again.

Our family just returned from a week at Seaview. What a lovely home at a great price! More than enough space for 3 couples. Loved the covered decks and pool/fire pit area. David was quick with all communication and reminders. Really appreciated all the extras David provides. Much nicer than our previous SGI rentals.
Robin and extended family...yes I do try to provide a good value and make it simple with no additional add on fees. And for me, the key to a guests stay is being in communication with them if and when it is necessary.

My wife and I stayed at Seaview in April 2023. This was our 2nd visit to Seaview and the house is well maintained and stocked. Mr. Crenshaw maintains good communication and is very prompt and attentive. SGI/Seaview/Mr. Crenshaw: a winning combination!

Seaview has a new heat pump pool heater and several weeks of use so far has proven that it really works well. And of course the best part is Seaview does NOT charge for the pool heat...not $350 or $275...nothing! And no other fees either...no cleaning or booking fees.

This is our 2nd time at Seaview and it did not disappoint! It has been almost 10 years since our last visit and we wondered why we waited so long! The proximity to the peaceful, uncrowded beach is great! Although we had to endure Hurricane/Tropical Storm Nicole (1 day of wind and rain) we had a terrific stay!. We found lots to do and places to eat on the island and in Apalachicola and Eastpoint. Thanks again for letting us use your home!!!

We have been going to SGI for 11 years now. We have stayed in 6 different houses on the island and this one is by far our favorite!! This was our second time staying at Seaview and everyone in our family agreed that this house has it all. I love that David and Suzy have very detailed notes for everything, especially the TVs...the older we get, the more complicated those become. David is very good at communicating before hand and making sure everything is prepared for your stay. He even checked in while we were there just to make sure everything was going smoothly. Wonderful house....wonderful location....wonderful people. We will definitely be staying again!

We love Seaview & have stayed there multiple times. The home is always well kept, fully stocked and the owners are available for any issues that might arise! Seaview is close to everything you need on the island while being in a quite area of St. George. We will stay here again!

The house has really great outdoor spaces to maximize your enjoyment of the FL weather, and the inside has everything you need for daily life. Seaview was everything we wanted and David's attention to detail made our vacation feel like a home away from home. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire and watching the sunsets from the hammock. The kitchen had all we needed and we appreciated the multiple Trivial Pursuit games for all ages! (Very humbling I will admit!) Can't wait to return.

Our family enjoyed our third visit! Clean house, ample amenities, great location with ocean view. Owner is always available for questions with quick response. Thank you for guiding us safely through tropical depression "FRED" with personal storm information and links to the Franklin County government warnings. You were correct in saying the weather is beautiful after a storm passes.
June and family from Virginia...thanks for your third visit to Seaview. Storms can be a challenge at beach homes but I am glad you ended up with a mostly nice week. My minor storm repairs have been take care of as I am fortunate to have good repair people that usually respond quickly.

We grilled, swam and had bonfires all week. We also spent plenty of time on the beach. Overall, we had an excellent vacation staying at Seabreeze.

Even in the midde of winter we had a great time. The property has plenty of room with two master bedrooms and another that could be considered a master.. David was very good to work with though the entire process making sure to double check everything and follow up to make sure nothing was missed. I will comment that some of the reviews questioned the instructions on different things...I found them to be very helpful. Particularly the different remotes. Made it much easier to use without having to figure them out. Very happy with the visit.

We stayed here in October and it was warm enough to swim in the Gulf but on the nights it got chilly, we were able to hang out in the heated pool, the hot tub, and by the fire pit! This house was on point and a beautiful place! Our children had their own space and often fought over who would sit in the hammock on the top deck! Great family relaxing!!!

We had a wonderful time in SGI, such a beautiful quaint place. The home was everything we imagined, very beautiful and well equipped for all your needs. David was so great to work with and very prompt in getting back to us, even when we reached out while on vacation about the pool being too warm, he had someone out within 15 minutes to adjust the temperature setting!! Highly recommend booking this beautiful home with the Crenshaw's. We truly enjoyed our stay, especially the pool + hot tub area. The only minor flaw we noticed was the build up of dust (especially on the fans/ vents) which I ended up personally cleaning because of my husbands allergies but not a major issue! Hope to be back very soon. Thank you Crenshaw's!!

Our family has been to SGI and Seaview for several years and love it every time. While all of our family couldn't come this year because of Covid, those of us who could go had a fantastic time. We especially appreciated all the precautions David and Suzy have put in to make you feel safe during this time. Seaview is well stocked with beach supplies and the kitchen had everything we needed. The private pool and hot tub along with the beach make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy spending family time together. We can't wait to go back!

Well you guys came a long ways from Iowa! But we do appreciate it. Although St George is a rural island community it is only 11 miles to downtown Apalachicola where you find lots of cute stores and about 25 more restaurants. As for check in, we have always used an electronic door lock that makes it so easy to check in without having to contact anyone or pick up a key.

We had 3 families, 2 with little ones, and absolutely loved it. The description of the property allowed us to plan in advance for sleeping arrangements and meal prep! And it was spot on. The home is very kid friendly while allowing for easy clean up and safety. The beach was never crowded and always beautiful. We will definitely stay there again

This place was definitely better than we expected! It's just a short walk to the beach. They have chairs, umbrellas, and towels so you do not have to bring haul yours there. Has a hammock on the top lookout level where you can view the dolphins jumping in the gulf! Owners were easy to work with. We plan to rent Seaview again in the future! Traveled with 3 girlfriends to St. George Island and Seaview. My husband and I have been coming to SGI for many years and I was excited to introduce my friends to this special, beautiful island. We are so lucky to have found Seaview! This is an exceptional home on SGI and very reasonably priced. The location is PERFECT! An easy walk to the beach for sunrise and beach activities. An equally short walk to the bay side for "not to miss" sunsets. And, an easy (less than 1 mile) bike ride to the "commercial" part of the island - the Blue Parrot restaurant, Piggly Wiggly Express, Island Adventures, etc. The home is so nicely equipped for cooking, for comfort. Wonderful Adirondack chairs on the deck facing the gulf and by the pool. Having beach gear and beach towels was a really nice bonus with this home's rental. He was amazing to work with and extremely responsive to any and all of our inquiries and questions (or concerns) before our arrival and while there. We will definitely be back! This home was beauftil and perfect. Great size for our family and we could spread out on the rainy day. Lot os room and a very short distance to everythin. Kitchen had everything we needed and tons of beach stuff as well.
Cheri and family...I am glad you found Seaview to have "tons of beach stuff"! We do have a closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, and other items. Then at the pool, we have a pool box with various noodles, floats, etc that does vary according to what has been left or been broken. david and suzy

We had a memorable time at Seaview! David was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had while visiting (it's very nice to deal with a person, not a company), the kitchen was well-stocked, and the top level views are amazing! Little details such as access to the pool from the bedroom side, fun fire pit, and covered picnic area made the stay more enjoyable. Oh, and even though we didn't think we'd use it much, we definitely had a good time relaxing in the hot tub. Would go back next year, except someone already beat me to it!

Ah...the hot tub...is really great at night in the dark as you can see the skies so well since SGI does not have street lights or commercial building lighting interference. . As for next year, I hope you will try to find another suitable week. Bookings for 2020 are way ahead of previous years advance bookings. It may partially be because of the hurricane of last year but we have gotten a lot of good publicity lately include a national travel magazine ,just this month, saying SGI is one of the "21 Best Islands in the US". I would like to recomment St George Isand and Seaview in particular to anyone who desires an excellent and relaxing vacation. The island is amazing. The house was fantastic. The owner was very responsive.
Hurridcane Michael did some damage around the island but did not take it's spirit. Seaview actually had very little damage. Again, David communicated well throughout the entire process. Very professional. Everythin was found as expected. We had a blast as a family!! We want to go back already!
Mike, you all stayed at Seaview before my carport ceiling was reinstalled from the storm. Everything has now been repaired at Seaview and all the restaurants in SGI, Eastpoint, and Apalachicola (less about 2 that were substantially damaged) and up and running. The county did an amazing job at getting the debris hauled away in late Nov so the island is in full swing again!

A week spent at Seaview on beautiful SGI proved to be one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in years! David and Suzy have created a tastefully decorated home away from home with the most fully stocked kitchen we're ever had in a vacation rental. Seaview's location proved view s and short walks to both the bay an ocean. After spending a good part of the day on the beach, we enjoyed cooling down in Seaview's private pool. Both pool and beach toys, as well as chairs, umbrellas, etc were available and free for your use while there, so that was an added plus. In addition to the smart TV setup, there were lots of games provided our entertainment on rainy days and evenings.
Jessica, thanks for your kind comments! Since Suzy was a kitchen designer, we do try our best to have a well equipped kitchen. And the pool is a great place to cool off or enjoy in the spring and fall with the solar heater.

This was our 3rd year renting Seaview and we will be coming back. The house is the perfect distance from the beach.Very clean and very spacious. Only htink missing is an elevator as it is a hike to get groceries, luggage, etc to the top floor. David is wonderful to work with. He is very quick to respond when issues arrive. Would highly recommend this house to anyone who is interested.
Kathleen, yes it would be wonderful to have an elevator...but at $23k, I don't see that happening! However, we do make use of the elevator shaft areas as they are the outside chairs and umbrellas closet, and inside the small office. Kathy and family from Tenn...yes the solar heated pool is fabulous! For several years we had the traditional propane heater for the pool but it costs $350/week to heat it...outrageous! So we never heated ourselves. But now we can enjoy our pool and share it with our guests with no costs.

We loved our stay at Seaview this past 4th of July. The owner is wonderful and provides so much! They really go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. Just a short walk to the beach which definitely isn't crowed (especially it was the week of the 4th of July). I would recommend this for any large family.

Our family of five (children 20, 17, and 14) was looking for a place over the holidays to get away and relax. We had targeted Saint George Island for a future visit and thought that this would be a great opportunity to check out the area. St George Island is a rural island community with no highrises! A National Travel Magazine has ranked St George Island as one of the " Best Islands in the US." The beach is not crowded...you may see only 20 peoiple for 1/2 mile in either direction. There are about 5 resturants on the island. Apalachicola is 11 miles from Seaview with 20+ restaurants and is a National Trust "Distinctive Historic Community" with cute shops.

* The bike path is in front of Seaview and is a paved 10 mile long path for bikes & walkers and is fairly flat!
