We had a wonderful, fantastic time. The Cape is beautiful. The house was perfect with everything we needed. Teresa and Terri are wonderful to work with. We will be back!!!
Perfect house for the perfect trip! We had a great stay at the Avalon. Great views, easy walk to beach (closer than pics appear) and loved the pool! Comfortable beds & furniture. Having the elevator was an amazing bonus especially getting luggage up the stairs. Management company was beyond helpful & attentive for any question we had. Would definitely use them again & intend to rent this property again!!
Loved Avalon , really nice house with a elevator , and beautiful swimming pool , nicely furnished, and beautifully decorated , with everything you should possibly need , lovely furnished decks with high chairs to watch the waves roll in , We also enjoyed Good Fishing there . We have rented from Teresa's Beach Homes for well over 10 years 2 times a year , and have enjoyed working with them , they are family owned , and make booking a beautiful beach home effortlessly easy and We highly recommend them , Camille and John Kemp
This was our family's first trip to CSB and we chose the area so that we could bring our dogs with us on vacation. We rented the Avalon house and it was just a perfect spot. It's a beautiful house and has everything you would need. We enjoyed purchasing fresh seafood from St. Joe's Shrimp Co. a few nights and grilled dinner at home; the kitchen was very well stocked for putting a good meal together. The beds in the house are very comfortable and the house was very clean and nicely decorated. My favorite part of this trip was the amazing sunsets that we would enjoy from our deck (great Adirondack chairs also!). The walk to the beach is so easy and the pool is a great spot. We just truly enjoyed staying here and exploring the Cape. They are working hard to rebuild after the hurricane and good progress is being made. We had plenty to do and enough conveniences close by (the Trading Post has groceries and everything you need -- even fresh cut meat--- we got INCREDIBLE filet mignons from them!) I would recommend this house and area-- -they are grateful for tourists and the support you give them by vacationing there. You won't be sorry! We will be back for sure.
This was our third stay at the Avalon at Cape San Blas, it never disappoints. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, warm pool in early spring, and very clean upon our arrival. We love the short walk to the beach and watching the sun sets from the deck. Our favorite eating places Skully’s and seafood market, were better than ever! We love going to the Cape!

Our family stayed at Avalon during scalloping season 2018 (early September in this case) and had a fabulous time. The weather was beautiful and the water still very warm this time of year. Avalon is a beautiful home, with a boardwalk leading directly to the beach and a small private pool that was perfect for our young granddaughters. This was our second stay at Avalon and the house was as beautiful as we remembered. There has been some construction since our last visit that has obstructed some of the beach view, but we could still see dolphins feeding in the Gulf from the main balcony. The home is nicely furnished and well-equipped with large balconies and an elevator (very important when unloading all the groceries and other things you’ll need for a stay on the Cape). Tip: Try to bring as much as you can for your visit because it’s an hour round-trip to the nearest “big” grocery store in Port St. Joe…time you don’t want to lose. The Cape Trading Post and Scallop Cove convenience stores on the Cape do a pretty good job of stock the essentials, which will also help save you some time. Avalon and Cape San Blas are dog-friendly which means the whole family can come and enjoy a CSB vacation. We have stayed in many of Teresa's other homes over the last 9 years and will continue to do so. We can’t get enough of the Cape and morning coffee and beautiful sunsets on the balcony are what we dream of when we are not there. Thank you Teresa for sharing your beautiful homes.
My husband and I with our two pups spent a lovely week at Avalon in April for our 30th Anniversary. The home was gorgeous and had every amenity for us to use and then some. The views were breathtaking and the pool was just fabulous. We had a very pleasant and relaxing week and were so sad when it was over. We hope to come back soon.
beautiful! relaxing! everything we needed/wanted was right there. we're coming back.

We loved our stay at Avalon..So many things that were just right...The pool deck and pool are so wonderful to have right out your door..All the bedrooms were spacious and plenty of towels..I loved the kitchen...very well stocked and the appliances were amazing. SO MUCH ROOM!...Would go back in a heartbeat.
We love spending our winter months in Avalon - it has everything you'd ever need. Love the location - couldn't be better. Our second year and already looking forward to next year. You can't go wrong! Teresa's homes are the best!
Toni, Teresa and I were so happy to have you back. When we were going through thank you notes last night she said "They left the house wonderfully!!!!" We're so happy to have found the current group of winter renters that love and care for our homes as much as we do. We look forward to having you back for 2019!
What a great week on the Cape! Teresa’s Beach Home’s never disappoints! We loved Avalon. Incredible views and sunsets. Close walk to beach. Home has everything you need for a great week at the beach! Highly recommend!
Of the three houses we’ve rented at Cape San Blas, Avalon is our favorite. This was our first time in a 1st tier house, but we decided to sacrifice beachfront in order to have a private pool. As it turns out, we didn't sacrifice anything because the beach was still close and easy to access and the pool was sheer heaven, especially with a small child who was learning to swim. The house was exactly as depicted -- attractive, spacious, well outfitted with everything we could possibly need, and most importantly, extremely clean. The elevator was icing on the cake, making our moves in and out so much easier. When we experienced two minor maintenance issues, Terri was quick to respond and had them resolved immediately. My family and I enjoyed our stay at Avalon immensely and plan to return next year.
Avalon was a perfect retreat for my husband and I to relax and unwind for a fabulous two weeks in May. The house was clean and well equipped. The elevator made the stay so much easier as well. We especially loved the pool and sitting on the deck drinking coffee each morning. We loved the restaurants in the area and in Port St. Joe as well. It is definitely like living in paradise.
We loved our stay at Avalon. It is a great house with perfect access to the beach. The pool is beautiful and having it heated was key in late April. Would stay again for sure!! The trading post really does have everything as well - would highly suggest checking out some of the local restaurants on the Cape and the trading post before going into Port St. Joe. Very relaxing trip and we saw lots of dolphins too!
After my first visit to Avalon in 2011 I was hooked! I have since made it our annual beach trip! The house is perfectly located just a short walk down the board walk to the beach with a GREAT view from the porch for sunset and plenty of rooms so no one feels crowded! The beach itself is soft, clean, and not overly crowded to the point where you feel like its your own personal beach! I couldn't ask for a better house or a better beach! And the stars at night are unlike anywhere else! Truly amazing! Will be back again this year!
Avalon is a great house. We totally enjoyed our stay there - it felt like home right from the start - only better. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The elevator was great since our dog hurt his leg - he totally enjoyed it too. We had beautiful weather and didn't have one complaint. We've already put money down for next year. Thank you so much!
Avalon is a wonderful house! Our family of 10 (6 adults, 3 children and 1 dog) had a great time! The view and beach are beautiful and access to the beach is easy. We enjoyed the pool so much!! Kitchen is well equipped, I don't think we were missing anything. Beds are comfortable. I loved the elevator (being used to a ranch home and I hate stairs). It worked well and was quiet. Teresa and her staff are easy to work with. Thank you so much!!
We have been coming to the Cape for twenty years. Usually twice a year, so we have stayed in a lot of different houses. This was only our second time to be in a first tier house. Avalon was great. The location is very convenient to everything. Access to the beach is quick and easy. The home has excellent views of the sunsets. The pool was a great treat for the kids. Inside it is comfortably furnished and laid out well. We will surely be back.
We were a little hesitant because we had never stayed in a first tier home, and we were pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful. The house sits at an angle directed toward the sunset and the view is totally unobstructed. The new pool was large enough to actually swim in...unlike some of the pools that are so tiny. The house inside was lovely...not too overly beach decorated. One of my favorite things was falling asleep "under the stars". Very easy walk to the beach. Definitely will visit again. Cone heads and the Trading Post are very close. Terri and Teresa were both very helpful and friendly. Great house!

Teresas's Beach Homes
Avalon was a popular rental before 2012 when we decided to take it off the rental market to live in as our personal home. We are currently building a new home and Avalon will be back as a rental for Summer 2016. The landscape around Avalon and surrounding drives has changed over the years and we do have some new neighbors. However, it still has great views and is a fantastic home. Even better than many of you will remember! We hope you're as excited as we are to see Avalon back!
You can check out all of our rental homes in the "All Listings by Owner" link below the calendar. All of our homes have numerous reviews.

I wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that we had a terrific time at your home in Cape San Blas. The views were absolutely beautiful and the weather was great as well. Your house is very lovely and I can see you have put a lot of time and work into making it that way.
Again thank you very much for opening your home up to us and we will probably give you a call next year.

I wanted to express our huge appreciation for your vision in creating Paradise Point and willingness to share it with others. My family (husband, 2 daughters with their husbands and 3 kids) was absolutely thrilled with the house and the beach. We have traveled to Cape San Blas since the 1970s when we first camped there with our children and friends, then returned over and over again, repeatedly convinced that the area had the best of all possible beach worlds. We have stayed in other houses and at other beaches, and I dreaded the idea that I could no longer go because of my progressive neurological disorder. So, I was ecstatic when my daughter found your house on the Internet (how did we ever do life without it?) and immediately I decided it was worth a try. The house contains every possible convenience that I need at this point and I hope for a long time to come. The elevator is simply great (I was the only one allowed to use it, with my husband as the elevator boy) and the bathrooms were quite adequate. I didn't find a beach wheelchair to rent (although the state park has a version of one which is available to visitors to the park), but was able to negotiate the steps and the span of sand to the water with the help of all the family. How glorious to sit in the water and let the healing nature of the warm Gulf wash over me.
So, we had a super week at your house and hope to be there again someday. As I gazed at the lovely dunes and vegetation in front of the house, I fantasized that a group of your friends could buy the lot in front of the house to keep it natural. I love those dunes and the sweet smell of the bay species or whatever it is that is so characteristic of the area.
Thank you again!!

My family spent a wonderful week at this beautiful beachhome this summer. The pictures on the internet really don't do this place justice. It is really wonderful. Everything you need is here, all you need are groceries. We really enjoyed every minute. Hope to visit again. I just called and found out that all is well with your beachhome I'm glad Ivan didn't do any damage. God Bless

Thank you for sharing your home with us. Your house is absolutely beautiful, not to mention how wonderfully it is located on the beach! The views are spectacular! Between the home and the beach, our vacation gave us the much needed relaxation and fun! The daily visits from "Flipper and family" were equally fun! We hope to be back several times before next year's "family vacation"!
