I must say that this home is one of my favorites after visiting the Cape for roughly the last 15 years. The home was guarded from Michael by the large dunes in front. This home is an ideal place to relax due to the seclusion of the property. Will book again.
Jason, Thank you for supporting our area and your review. We thank you so much and hope to have you back soon.
Our stay in Bella Vista was Wonderful. Luxury meets Character is how I sum up this house. To be able to get away and not have to worry about any details was just what we needed. The accommodations were perfect. Fires on the beach, star filled skies, the true beauty of nature. Cape San Blas is honestly a blessing my family will remember for years to come. I haven’t met a person that has stayed in Cape San Blas that regrets running from the crowded beach tourist traps only to enjoy simple nature at its finest. Bella Vista won’t disappoint you!
Hurricane Michael was no match for the Cape. Still the greatest beaches anywhere. We chose Bella Vista as a second choice when searching for a vacation home after the storm. What a surprise. This home definitely takes first place. Everything we needed was there. Great home and the perfect location. We had an awesome week despite the rough weather to start it off. Cape San Blas is as beautiful and relaxing as ever. Bella Vista was perfect for my family. We found the house clean, well equipped, and as comfortable as being home. This home is great for any family. While we had no issues while there I am confident the friendly folks at Teresa"s would have taken care of any problems. And did I mention "the perfect location". It felt as if we had our own private beach. Private and hidden in the dunes yet close enough to feel a part of the beach. Powder white sandy beaches as beautiful as always. Fishing was good. Water was warm. We had sea turtles visit on the beach. We had deer visit in the yard. The great people who live here have done an amazing job in bringing the Cape back to all it's glory. There is still a lot of work needed but they have come a long way. We are looking forward to 2020. May even make it back before then. Who knows. A great big THANK YOU to the fine folks at Teresa's. The McDuffie Family
My husband, daughter, son in law, and I had a fabulous week on the cape in Bella Vista. Our two grand pups had a ball too. This marks 38 years of vacationing together on the cape for my husband and me. It's our favorite place and where we plan to retire in a few years. Post Hurricane Michael, there were changes, and some of our favorite restaurants were temporarily or permanently closed which was sad to see. However, most of the places we've frequented for years were open and great as ever. We ate at The Owl ,Up the Creek, and Up the Stairs in Apalach. In PSJ, Provisions and the fairly new Uptown Raw Bar, my fave. On the cape we thoroughly enjoyed The PSJ Seafood Co. for lunch Skully's is great for low country boil. Peachy's has yummy seafood tacos. We've already booked Bella Vista for the same week next year, our fifth time in that house. BTW, dealing with Teresa and Terri is great!
We have stayed at Bella Vista many times over the past ten years and I can start off by saying the home came through Hurricane Michael like a champ. This is really an exceptional property with direct access to the beautiful beach and views in every direction. The home is nicely decorated with plenty of room for a large family and all the items you will need for meal prep, etc. One of the things we like best is that the home is quite private from other homes and we usually have our section of the beach all to ourselves. At the same time, we have met so many friendly people walking on the beach. The house is located very close to the state park for hiking and nature walks, and just a quick drive to the Trading Post for groceries, booze, ice cream, donuts and so much more. Bella is truly a special place and we will visit again and again.

This is a awesome, private rental on the beach. The views are amazing and when you are on the beach frequently no one else will be around you. The home has everything you could need for a great vacation.

Bella Vista is a beautiful home with breathtaking views from every room. This was our second year staying at Bella and our third year on the Cape. We absolutely love all of the privacy this property affords. There is room enough to spread out for large families which only adds to the level of relaxation and enjoyment of vacationing at this home. There are so many nooks and porches you can literally find a new favorite spot to sit and relax or take in the indescribable beauty of the property and glistening ocean or the stars at night. It is such a special place. We plan on returning as often as we can.

My wife and I and another couple chose this home for a late winter get away and were not disappointed. It met our expectations and more. What a view and sunsets are spectacular. We have no complaints and plan to come back next year.
Terry, thank you so much! It was such a pleasure to work with you last week and through the weekend. We hope to see you back again soon.
After our Griswold vacation, in 2016, we decided to leave the Lowcountry. Thirty-two years of vacationing in the same area finally took its toll. While Cape San Blas promised soft, sand beaches and clear water, our stay in Bella Vista took everything to a whole new level. Bella seemed custom fit for everybody, including our two dogs. Nobody complained! Private bathrooms for all, plenty of space indoors, plenty of space outdoors, private and spacious setting, surrounded by nature, beautiful views, private beach access, outdoor amenities, awesome gathering area on main floor, and a floor plan that was still surprising me to the last day. Considering it was our first visit to the Cape, we were able to accomplish quite a lot. That would not have been possible without the awesome help of both Terri and Teresa. The information they provided was invaluable! We considered trying out other properties at Teresa's Beach Homes but figured, "Why mess with perfection?" Bella Vista is the perfect fit for our family, so we're trying it on for size, again, next summer. See you in 2018, beautiful Bella!
Laurinda, It still makes me smile to hear there were no complaints from the family :) I hope your brother finally ended up getting some donuts.. never heard the end of that story! I assume since he had no complaints he was successful! We look forward to having you guys back to Bella.
We thoroughly loved Bella Vista! We've been vacationing on the cape for over 30 years, and this is one of our favorite houses. We appreciated the use of the elevator. Other homes we've stayed in with them didn't allow renters access. We'll certainly be back.
I almost hate to share how fabulous both Cape San Blas is, as well as this absolutely wonderful home. We'd really like to keep it all for ourselves :) We brought our dogs with us and dubbed the entire trip our trip to "Doggie Disney World". The house is so incredibly dog friendly. They were able to swim all day, then spend most of their time on the back porches, taking in all the great salt smells in between naps. For us humans, it was also pure perfection. We cooked gourmet meals every night and were grateful for the incredibly appointed kitchen. There was nothing missing, right down to the Henkel knives. My husband and I won the lottery and ended up in the upstairs master. Each morning we woke up to the breaking dawn and watched the waves crash against the beach. From there we enjoyed full days on the beach, including sea kayaks, crabbing, lounging, walking, sunsets and smores. Pure heaven! We also chartered a sailboat one evening with Captain Terrell of Windward Sailing Charters, which was a blast! We can't wait to come back!!

We stayed a week at Bella Vista with our two dogs and could not have picked a better rental. The house is beautifully decorated and such a smart design. The elevator helped with getting luggage upstairs and each floor has a bedroom, providing privacy for larger groups. We especially liked the third floor bedroom/bathroom. The owners/builders of this house thought of everything. Most rooms/decks had a view and it had everything we needed. The kitchen is supplied better than any other we have ever rented. I thought of my parents while we were there. It would have been great for them as we often took them on vacations with us. Having no steps to enter the house and bathrooms designed for those who need to sit while bathing is such a wonderful, forward thinking idea. The property is private and large. Our dogs had room to roam and seemed very comfortable with the house/property. And then there is the beach, oh my - it was beautiful. Teresa is helpful, responsive and does a great job managing this property. We appreciate everything she did to make it a great vacation and would like to thank the owners for sharing their house to not only us but also our dogs.
My family and I enjoyed our second stay at Bella Vista. The house is lovely with an excellent location. We had a huge stretch of beach to ourselves. Hurricane Hermine only brought us one thunderstorm. Aside from rain that one afternoon, the weather was perfect. Our pups loved chasing their toys in the ocean. They hated to leave. Their humans did too! Looking forward to our next stay in May. After 35 years of vacationing on CSB, it only gets better.
Bella Vista was perfect for our family with four grown children (one of them married). The two master bedrooms were great for the two married couples. The house is big and beautiful, and had everything we needed, including good air conditioning. It is very private, and the views of the sand dunes and ocean are fantastic. The beach is just a short walk across the dunes on our own walkway. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone, and we will come again if possible!
Terri and Teresa - 2nd time staying at Bella and we had another great week. Cape San Blas reminds me of the Florida that I used to visit when a child. Unhurried and just epitome of the "Forgotten Coast". Bella with its secluded location and picturesque setting is hard to beat.
Mike, I'm so glad you all enjoyed your week and enjoyed speaking with you and responding the few things during your stay. We hope to have you back again for a third time! -Terri
We just got back from our week at Bella Vista and we cannot wait to return! Everything about this house is wonderful!! There were 2 sets of adults and 2 kids and we each had a bedroom on our own floor! Lots of privacy. It is a unique home (loved the potty in the shower on the top floor) with a wonderful beach location. We have stayed on the Cape for 11 years and this is by far the best place we have stayed. Very clean, comfortable and maintained! Teresa is great to work with! We will be back next summer!!
