Who needs snow for the Holiday Season when you have the sugary white sands that makes up the shore of the Emerald Coast? You get that warm Florida sun hitting your face and get to walk around feeling the sand in between your toes instead of that cold snow and there won’t be any shoveling needed. When spending your Holiday down on the Emerald Coast, guests will find many festive activities that the whole family will be able to take part in. Everything from your favorite Holiday traditions, to something new and exciting that may only be offered down south, the memories and fun will come from every which way.

Try something new when you go to schedule your usual tee time at The Links Golf Clubs, Raven, and Baytowne golf courses. Starting December 1st through 13th, from 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. golfers can take part in a game of golf free when they make a donation of an unwrapped brand new toy or even gift card that will then be donated to one of the many local charities. Even though you and your guests may be traveling down to the Emerald Coast to escape the bitter cold, why not hop on an ice skating rink for a few hours? December 1st through 31st make sure to stop down to Baytowne Whart starting at 4:00 p.m. during the week and 12:00 p.m. on the weekends. The kids will be delighted to have that part of their Holiday tradition while on their tropical vacation. Spice it up with something unique to the Emerald Coast by making it to the Destin Harbor Boat Parade. At 6 p.m. on December 13 at the Emerald Grande, guests and locals can awe over Destin’s 28th annual boat parade that travel through the harbor blanketed with all of the Christmas lights you could imagine. There will also be plenty of other holiday activities for you and the kid to enjoy that makes the holiday season down on the Emerald Coast feel like home, such as a visit from Santa from 12-4 p.m. Come together with the locals and other Holiday guests to celebrate the new year in a way that only the Emerald Coast can provide. In the Village of Baytowne Wharf on December 31st and relish all of the live entertainment and jaw dropping fireworks that take part in ringing in the new year.
