Meet & Contact Laura Hopkins
Windswept is right on the beach in PCB away from the resorts. Just a few steps through the dunes and you're on the sugar white sands. More importantly, you can see "your" beach area from the deck. (It's public, but you can stake your claim early each day.) The 'house' itself is most unique. The main building is a two BR, kitchen, LR/DR setup. The other three bedrooms are all separate and open outside to a breezeway that is part of the rambling compound that is Windswept. There are several hallways, alcoves, and other sections in the compound including a glassed-in porch between house and deck. Instead of a front door, there are three gates leading in. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. (!) This is all overseen by the genial owner/operator Bill, who lives on the second floor (with a 3rd floor garret). So he is nearby to deal with any issues, of which you might expect a few in a building of this vintage. Decor is standard beach/nautical, very unique & well weathered. Kitchen has new appliances. Note: Parking can be an issue. House only has two places and street parking is not allowed anymore with new laws. But Bill can help you find spaces nearby. So not a big deal really. A large bar/grill "hut"; two outdoor showers; plenty of outdoor seating and tables; loads of beach toys and gear; and a $5M dollar view will make your stay at Windswept unforgettable. Would visit again eagerly.
