Meet & Contact Devonne OGorman

My husband and I are currently living in Wisconsin! My maternal grandfather came to the US from Germany in the early 1920's. He wooed my grandmother, still in Germany, through the mail and then sponsored her to come to the US, where they wed in DeFuniak Springs, Florida in 1929. They moved to Milwaukee and started their family, though they kept their beautiful farm in Argyle (DeFuniak Springs), which was eventually passed to their oldest daughter. I spent a lot of time on that farm and on the sugar sand beaches near Seagrove when we visited our family in Florida. When we were children, the beaches were public and undeveloped. Can you imagine? Or maybe you can even remember this yourself?!
Our children are grown, married, and have their own children, now  - the fifth generation of our family to enjoy this beautiful area!!!!
