Rating: ?????????? Review: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Turtle Cove in Destin, Florida, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. This five-star beach house is located just 2 1/2 blocks away from the beach and boasts a massive lagoon pool that will leave you in awe. The location of Turtle Cove is ideal for beach lovers. Being so close to the beach allowed me to easily enjoy long walks along the shore, soak up the sun, and take refreshing swims in the crystal-clear waters. The convenience of having the beach just a short walk away added an extra level of joy to my stay. The highlight of Turtle Cove is undoubtedly the massive lagoon pool. It is truly a sight to behold! The pool area is beautifully designed and provides a luxurious and relaxing space to unwind. Whether I wanted to take a refreshing dip or simply lounge by the poolside with a good book, the lagoon pool offered the perfect setting. The beach house itself was nothing short of amazing. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The amenities provided added to the overall enjoyment of my stay, making me feel right at home. I must also commend the staff at Turtle Cove for their exceptional service. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their genuine hospitality made my stay even more memorable and enjoyable. In conclusion, Turtle Cove in Destin, Florida is a five-star beach house that exceeded all my expectations. With its proximity to the beach and the stunning lagoon pool, it offers an unforgettable vacation experience. We recently went to Turtle Cove and OMG I love this house!!! When you walk in, you view a beautiful open concept with the kitchen, dinning room, and living room.The kitchen has a huge island that has 6 nice chairs which was perfect when making breakfast for the kids. The bedrooms are stunning and huge. It has the BEST kids room as well! TWO built in bunk beds with a stable ladder as well! the pool is beyond stunning! Even though you are not directly on the beach (walking distances) the pool makes you feel like you are! Lauren is an amazing host and we will definitely be using this home again when we visit!

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The home is beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed the amount of space this property offered, especially with three families vacationing together. Just a few minor negative details worth mentioning—the floors left the kids feet black with dirt, and this was on arrival. We wore flip flops the entire time to just keep our feet clean. The walls also appear pretty grimy, especially on the way up stairs. And finally, be prepared to walk a good distance. We were, since this is pretty clear from the description listed, but one should really think this through. Especially if you have small children that require lots of equipment for the beach. Overall, none of the bad outweighed the good, and I would recommend to others who are okay with just minor drawbacks.

Location was great just a short walking distance from public entrances to beach. Our family really enjoyed the community’s heated pool and tub. The house’s kitchen is stocked with plenty of cooking utensils which was very convenient since we cooked several meals. Even made burgers on the provided grill. Over all recommended 100%!

Turtle Cove is only a short walk to the expansive lagoon pool at Villages of Crystal Beach! This 4BR/3.5BA home has updates galore, including double crown molding, travertine tile floors in the kitchen and living area, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, upgraded light fixtures, travertine tile and marble showers, and more! There are 2 king master bedrooms, a king guest bedroom, a bunk room with 2 custom built-in twin over full bunk beds, and an upstairs den area with a queen-size sleeper sofa, sleeping up to 14 guests comfortably. There are also TVs in every bedroom! Enjoy your refreshments on the covered balcony or relax comfortably in one of the two living areas. This luxurious community is about 900 yds from Crystal Beach and includes a complimentary seasonal trolley service to take you to and from the Gulf!

Villages of Crystal Beach is an exclusive, gated community only a few blocks from the beautiful blue waters and white sandy beaches of Destin. You can make the walk on foot or hop on the free seasonal trolley service that will even pick you up at the house and drop you off right at the beach! The pool area at Villages of Crystal Beach is a vacation must! The lagoon-style zero-entry pool is 30,000 square feet of gorgeous, sparkling clear water. There is a spa, tropical landscaping, and plenty of seating areas. It also has surround sound, a flat-screen TV, and a grilling area to help you relax and unwind.
Please note that there are parking restrictions within the Villages of Crystal Beach. There are three parking spaces available in the driveway of the home with an overflow lot for one additional vehicle. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shop.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of the permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation devices when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!
