This house is beautiful and it's location is perfect for our daily kayak trips in the bay. We caught plenty of trout and redfish. The sea life is great from the pier. We saw baby hammerheads, stingrays, hermit crabs a variety of fish without even leaving the pier. The sunrises are breathtaking! There are plenty of bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, paddles, and beach chairs. The beach is a short walk which enabled us to enjoy both the gulf and the bay in a single day. Nice beach towels that were furnished was a plus. The kitchen is fully furnished with anything you need and there is plenty of pantry space for your groceries. The large deck on the main floor was awesome as well as the deck off the master suite. We met Sharon on our last day and she was so nice! We could tell she works hard and is so proud of this beautiful home. We will be renting again next year!

We loved our stay at Trudy May! Most gorgeous sunrises of the balcony and the house was beautiful. The kayaks, bikes and beach gear were a plus. CSB was the perfect relaxing getaway spot for our family. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and several great places to eat close by.

Beautiful home with everything you need. Love that it was pet friendly, as is the beach. Back porch(s) overlooking the bay have stunning views and great for breakfast with coffee and dinner with the family. Saw many bald eagles flying directly in front of us 4/8/2021 at 3:00 PM

We had 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs and the property was perfect for us. Plenty of room to spread out. We especially loved the huge deck out back. The water is shallower than we thought so we were unable to keep our boat at the dock but everything else was great. We will definitely go back!

We had an incredible stay and took strong advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks to experience the wonderful sea life right outside the house. We captured nurse sharks mating, ospreys, sea turtles and many rays. We love the bay life and this is a great house to enjoy It has to offer.

We spent a week at Trudy May;s Bay, and enjoyed every minute. The location is great, best of both worlds, the bay out back and across the street is the gulf. The bay is steps from the house and the view is stunning. Beautiful sunrise over the bay. I will say if you are not an early riser the sun will wake you up. On mornings I was not ready to rise, I took in the beauty, covered my head and dozed right back off. The view across the bay at night is really pretty with the lights of Port St Joe across the water. The house was spotless, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the bay (all of which are there for your use). We enjoyed watching the crabs scurry on the bottom. We drove across to the beach because we carried so much stuff. Bikes are there to ride or a golf cart if you want to rent it. David was very responsive if I had questions. Our dogs really enjoyed the location and the bay. You cannot go wrong with this one. We will definitely go back if the house is available when we travel.

Trudy May's Bay is your ideal family vacation home. Located on beautiful Cape San Blas on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Here at Trudy May's Bay house, you have the best of both the bay and the gulf. The vista views of St. Joseph Bay from this house will lure you to the 500' dock (shared with only one other home) for paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, and scalloping. Also, we have a screened-in waterfront gazebo with a hammock for your day and nighttime enjoyment with power and running water. Enjoy taking the house bicycles (8) out for a tour of the area on the extended bike path, 2 mi. to the park. We also furnish, beach towels, linens, a large well-appointed galley kitchen with granite counters, and stainless steel appliances. There are TVs in all bedrooms and surround in the living room. The home is very private, has sheltered parking, fishing off of the dock and a fish cleaning sink, on the dock, a large gas grill on the lower balcony beck, and amazing views. It is a10-minute walk a public beach access point at Cape Palms Park (down bike path) with sheltered, tables, bathrooms, wheelchair access, grills, kids play area, open 24/7
We allow pets (see our pet fee policy) and the deck off the living room has a gate that locks perfect for the safety of dogs and young children.
