Gulf Breeze - Barrier Dunes 15 , Cape San Blas, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

Our stay was so wonderful. Great location, beautiful condo and wonderful hostess! We could not have asked for more. We saw and heard the Gulf from our living room and bedrooms. So easy to just run down the stairs to the white sandy beach. Everything we needed was available and ready for us...and our dogs. Wendy responded quickly to any request. I don't know how she does it! We all loved our stay at Gulf Breeze and would recommend it to anyone who loves beautiful beaches, soft Gulf breezes, friendly people and dogs, great nights of sleep and rest, and pretty accommodations. My husband, our collie, and I loved our stay at the newly renovated Gulf Breeze, for a few days before Christmas, 2019.    The condo was very well stocked, had a great gulf view and an easy short walk to the beach.

Gulf Breeze was nicely decorated and the master bed was extremely comfortable!

It was a pleasure to work with Wendy and would definitely stay here again..... hopefully next December.

Great stay in Gulf Breeze. The unit was as described. Pictures were accurate. The view was great and only short walk to beach. The owner has equipped the unit with everything needed plus MORE! Easy booking and prompt response to all inquiries. Weather was wonderful-ready to return.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Gulf Breeze during fall break! It was in excellent condition and very clean. We typically prefer oceanfront for the views, however, the views from this unit were amazing as well with the palm trees and ocean just behind them. Very close to the beach. We will definitely book again, hoping to get back down next year for the 4th of July fireworks!

Everything about the Cape & this townhouse are wonderful. The beach is just steps from the door to the white sand beach and clear water. The home has everything you need and more. Beautifully updated and decorated. The only things you need are beach towels and toiletries. Without question, we would definitely stay here again.

This was are 7th year at Barrier Dunes and it was the best ever.  Love the location so close to the beach, hope to always stay at Gulf Breeze 15, it had everything you might need and the service was the best.  I asked Wendy if the palms could be trimmed and it was done the next day. To be able to sit on the deck and see the water and hear the waves is like heaven. Everyone who stayed wants to come back! Thank you for sharing your home with me and my family great memories!

We absolutely love CSB! The cottage was newly remodeled, comfortable, clean and well-stocked. The location was perfect, easy to get to the beach and pool and a very nice view at a great price. Wendy was terrific to work with too. We will return again to this cottage!

One of the best vacations our family has ever taken! Wendy’s place was amazing and checked all the right boxes. The house was very clean and had great amenities (stocked kitchen ware, spices, etc.) The rooms were perfect sizes and nicely updated throughout. Location was great and super close to beach!

By far the cleanest, nicest unit that we have ever stayed in the Barrier Dunes. Great location very short walk to the beach or the pools. Would definitely book this one again! Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gulf Breeze 15.  The condo was beautiful and we really appreciated the spices & the plastic wraps, detergents and washer & dryer being right there.  The two granddaughters thought the loft was great.  The beach was very pretty.  I am sure we will be back someday.

We have been coming to Cape San Blas for the past 4 years. It is truly a WONDERFUL place to visit! We have made many special memories with our family and fur babies during our times there. We never want to leave when it's time to go. We have stayed in Gulf Breeze the last three trips and can't say enough about this place! Wendy has done an awesome job making sure that everything is perfect. The unit was completely remodeled after Hurricane Michael and there was not a thing that we needed during our stay! The views are wonderful and just steps away from the beach. We will definitely be coming back to this little peace of heaven on earth!!

We all had a super time at the Cape as usual. Thank you for all your help. And you have a wonderfully helpful staff!  When get settled back in I'll send a few pictures of our time there. Thank you again!!

One of the most relaxing places.

This was our second time staying on the Cape and dealing with Wendy.   It's definitely a no worry vacation. Wendy sees to it that everything is perfect! 


Beautiful sunsets and we had the best weather. The Pompano were plentiful and delicious!! A few day trips to Port St. Joe and Apalachicola made for a great week. Thanks again Wendy.

We had a wonderful time at the Cape, we will be back.  We did have everything we needed, except more time to enjoy the lovely home and beautiful beach.  Our boy Champ had a great time romping in the sand.  He even got in the water and swam for the first time. 

Thank you for a WONDERFUL vacation.  My kids are already planning the trip to the same townhome next Summer so we will be booking with you next year for sure.  Your home was absolutely gorgeous and you had everything that we needed to enjoy the relaxation we needed.  We didn’t have to purchase any dishes and you even provided us with hand soap and trash bags and the spices to cook with.  I also loved how quiet and peaceful the complex was.  The house was very clean and we had plenty of towels for the week as well.  I love beach theme and the décor made it extra special because it is decorated so cool for the beach!!!   The kids enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the waves crash.   Another added cool bonus is the nice grill that is right on the deck to cook-out. The short walk to the beach was one of my favorites of all.  It was literally about 20 footsteps and you were on the sand.  Also the fact that you provide the beach chairs and the cart was an added bonus!!!  I can’t say enough great things about the beach either.  The water and sand were gorgeous and very family oriented.   The water was crystal clear and not crowded either!!

Also if you love fishing this is the place.  My kids and husband enjoyed going to the bay right outside the complex at the state park and they caught lots of fish and sting rays.  We also took a boat out in the bay and caught a lot of fish and sharks and that was a cool experience that my kids will remember and cherish.

Lots of great memories made in a week that I will look back on and smile big!!!!

Also, you are welcome about fixing the door handle.  That was very easy for Chad and no inconvenience at all!!!  That was nothing except normal wear and tear.  Your house is well taken care of.

Michelle and I want to thank you so much for providing us a wonderful place for the holidays. We got much needed R&R and truly enjoyed our stay! The condo was in the perfect location and was exactly what we needed. We noticed right away that we had nothing to worry about because it was all right there when we arrived. The beach was so close and we ended up catching about 30 whiting in the surf. We noticed right away that the people in the complex were super nice. The atmosphere was relaxed and the weather was awesome! I would highly recommend your place to anyone who wants a worry free vacation…short or long…to relax, enjoy the beach and the serenity of it all…Thank you again for a great get away!

This was our second consecutive year to Cape San Blas via the Barrier Dunes and booking through Wendy.  This year like last was a blast.  We did a whole lot less this year as far as the area attractions are concerned.  We brought most everything we needed with us and didn’t get out of the house too much.  It rained a lot.  That did not keep us from the beach however.  We had a blast the entire time.  Wendy and Sonni responded to every question and concern we had while we were there and they did so with a quickness.  We will definitely be coming back.  We brought our two Border Collies with us and they had an absolute scream and never wanted to leave the beach.  The word “beach” is now solidified in their minds with the Barrier Dunes at Cape San Blas.  My 3-year-old son couldn’t get enough of any of it.  Between the pool, the beach itself, and the other kids there tooling around in the sand and surf he was in bliss.  It truly is one of the greatest family getaways we have known.  The only drawback is that the time goes by way too quickly in the Cape.  We will try and amend that on our next pass with a much longer stay!

This was our first year staying on “the forgotten coast”, we certainly hope it stays that way. The beach is absolutely beautiful, clear water and very uncrowded beach almost like having a private beach. We have been vacationing along the gulf coast for over 25 years this year was our very favorite .From the very first contact,  Wendy made the planning for our vacation easy responding promptly to our questions. The pictures on the website are very accurate in representing the town home, community and beach. The townhouse was clean, spacious and comfortable. When we vacation we love to buy fresh seafood  cook in the evenings. The kitchen in BD #15 is an ideal place for cooking as it is spacious and well equipped. We plan to return next year and for many more! Thank you Wendy, for making this the best vacation on the gulf ever!!

This is our second time staying in Barrier Dunes and the first in this unit. The owner is very easy to deal with. All communications I sent to her were responded to very quickly and satisfactorily. The unit itself, 555 Barrier Dunes Drive, is nicely stocked with everything you need to get your beach visit started! Beach chairs are provided, which is a huge plus to me – one less thing to haul from home!

My favorite thing about Barrier Dunes, and Cape San Blas, is that they are pet-friendly!  We love taking our dogs to the beach, instead of having to board them! There are pet stations situated conveniently throughout the property with plenty of garbage cans. You will be surprised how clean this pet-friendly destination is!

Can’t wait til our next trip to Barrier Dunes!

We had a WONDERFUL time!!!  The home was even better than we had hoped…spacious, clean & beautiful!!! The weekend was truly perfect!  To be perfectly honest with you, the only time we ever left the house/beach once we arrived was for one quick trip to The Trading Post to get more ice and OJ!  

I have rented many places over the years and have never been to a place that was better stocked or provided more information about the house itself or the surrounding areas.  It is clear that you take pride in the homes you manage and of the Cape San Blas area itself.  

The beautiful beach home, white sand, crystal clear sparkling (like diamonds) water, and most importantly the laughter between good friends on this magical weekend will be memories we all treasure for a lifetime!
