Crystal Shores Unit 607, Gulf Shores, Alabama Vacation Rental by Owner

We loved this unit. The balcony is great for the family. Most importantly the unit is clean and was ready. We will return to this specific unit time and time again. The owners are great and responsive.

Great view, the quietest condo we have ever stayed. It was clean and had beautiful decor. Diane was so easy to work with and made sure everything was great. Thanks again for allowing us to stay. We will definitely be back.

AGAIN! That's right we stayed again with Jim and Diane. Why? because they are so easy to work with. The condo is always clean.( can't say that for the other places we've stayed at in GS) They are always there to answer any questions that you may have. The beds are very comfortable with extra blankets, pillows and fans if needed. The view is amazing also. I especially love when Diane sends the final email..." Diane was a breeze to work with and was quick to respond to any questions prior to our trip. The condo was clean and well decorated and I loved that beach chairs, umbrellas and towels were provided. I would definitely stay here again.

We had the good fortune of getting away for Labor Day this year and were able to stay in unit 607 at Crystal Shores. This condo was everything that other reviews claimed and we had an outstanding time!! Anytime you are away from home you always expect the unexpected which was a keypad issue to get in the room, but Diane answered on the first ring and was able to give an alternate code and everything else was smooth sailing!! We enjoyed everything this unit had to offer and hopefully we will get lucky enough to stay there again someday soon!!

We stayed in unit 607 for our 3rd time this Labor Day. Late summer is great on the beach! Fewer people makes for a more enjoyable time. Our family loves this corner unit, with the extra balcony space and windows on the west side. These owners even supply beach chairs, umbrellas, towels., and toys! The condo is so clean! The beds are so comfortable, and the owenr supplied everything we needed for a week away from home. These are some of the easiest people to work with, and were very attentive to our needs. We hope to be back next year, and would like to make Crystal Shores 607 a new family tradition.

Traveling with three children is a very daunting experience! However, with the travel accommodations in this unit, we had an amazing week! The unit sits directly on the beach, which allowed for our family to transition back and forth during the day. Also, the unit comes with everything needed for the beach! The unit itself was beautiful! The two bathrooms was extremely helpful, and the washer and dryer was a fantastic resource! There was one small issue with the dishwasher, but the owners proactively communicated that out at the onset of the week. Overall, it ended up being the best vacation that we ever took! We look forward to requesting use of this unit again this summer!

Our experience with this vacation was great. It was refreshing to have the type of communication I had during the reservation process, and continuing up to the date of stay. The owners were available and easy to work with. All the little extras made for a memorable stay at the beach! The little store across the street is really handy and being really close to some great restaurants is a real plus. We look forward to our next vacation in this unit.

We've been to Gulf Shores 10 straight years now and stayed at several other places. I would say this is the best(unit 607) by far. The cleanest, updated and the view was great. really loved the balcony that wrapped around. I do want to mention too that we did have a "little" hic up getting into the condo when we arrived. But a simple phone call to Jim and Diane and they really jumped on it and took care of the situation. And even called back several times to check on us the make sure everything was ok! We really appreciated that. For that reason we will book again in 2019. Thanks Jim and Diane

By the end of 2018 we will have stayed at Crystal Shores in Unit 607 five times. We have been in the spring and also the fall. Both times of year are perfect. We keep going back because it feels like home to us. We love the view on the wrap around balcony, and because the Condo is on the corner it gives you more windows therefore more light. It is always clean, well looked after, and stocked with all the kitchen items you may need. The laundry area is full of everything you may need for a day on the beach. (Chairs, umbrella, floats, towels, and lots of things for little one to play in the sand with.) Our favorite thing is the two lounge chairs in the living room. We both have our own comfortable chair to relax in after a long day at the beach. The owners, Diane and Jim, are easy to work with and very accommodating. If I had to use one word I would use the word COMFORTABLY.

We have had the pleasure of using Diane and Jim’s condo more than once. It is so beautiful there! You can see the ocean when you come through the door. It has bright surroundings, and is a nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a large living room and very modern kitchen. This unit has all you need. It’s close to great places to eat and all the shopping anyone needs. The balcony is spacious, especially since it’s a corner unit. You have a beach front view and you can also see the bay!! We plan on returning again to enjoy this condo as much as we always have. I thank Diane and Jim for letting us be part of this beautiful place.

These owners and this condo have become a family tradition for us. We just love this condo and the owners. The condo has everything you need to make your stay just like home, only so much better because the beach is your back yard!! The condo has so many windows, the view is almost as good from inside the condo as it is from outside on the balcony. One year when we stayed in this unit we had an AC issue. These owners responded right away and called and texted multiple times to check on us and keep us posted on what to expect until the issue was resolved. (which was almost immediately) Their concern for us and our comfort far exceeded our expectations (after all , it could not have been helped). If you are thinking of booking this unit, don't hesitate. You will not be disappointed with the condo, the beach location and view, ,and certainly not with the owners. We don't even look anywhere else anymore.

Crystal Shores is our second home. We spend time there as often as we can, and we try to make sure we leave it with everything we feel is needed for a comfortable vacation. Knowing you want to come back to 607 each year means a lot to us. Jim and I never want a vacation to be interrupted by a problem, but when something does happen it is our goal to set things right as quickly as possible. We are always grateful to have such understanding guests!

My family and I recently stay in this until from June 17th -June 21st 2017. When we entered the condo we knew right away this was the "right" choice for our family vacation, and all the kids were really excited. As we went from room to room, the kids were happy to see that there were several board games, movies and sand toys, we certainly weren't expecting that. The bathrooms were clean and provided a lot of storage space...you need space with 4 teenage girls. The bathrooms had"Soft plush" towels that you would receive at a 5 star hotel chain. The bedrooms were inviting and the mattresses (even the pull-out-sofa) were comfortable and above par then what you typically experience with a rental unit. The kitchen had all the accommodations of a home. This allowed us to prepare meals and eat as a family like this was our own home. We had several meals out on the balcony. The corner unit views are spectacular from the living-room, master bedroom and the balcony. I also cant say enough about the owner Jim & Diane they provided outstanding customer service, truly a joy to deal with. We will be back next year.

We have been regular tenants of Jim and Diane Williams’ Crystal Shores unit 607 in Gulf Shores, Alabama, for several years. We spend every January and February in their remarkable unit, and we will continue to do so as long as they are kind enough to have us. Everything about the unit is of the highest quality. The rooms are bright and cheerful and thoughtfully decorated. The furnishings – the beds, the living room and dining room furniture, and even the balcony furniture -- are the very best of utmost comfort. The kitchen is equipped with just about every imaginable, like-new appliance. Jim and Diane go out of their ways to make certain the unit has every imaginable convenience, that it is immaculate, and that we always feel comfortable and secure. If something isn’t right, which rarely happens, they see to it that immediate corrective actions are taken. The building itself is conveniently located on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. A seemingly endless beach front is ideal for walking, a bike trail is literally at our front door and great restaurants and shopping are within walking distance or a short drive away. The building has its own convenient and safe in-building parking, a well-equipped workout room, a sauna and hot tub and an indoor/outdoor pool. The Williams unit has an ideal wrap-around balcony which provides a spectacular Gulf view. We can’t say enough about how fortunate we feel to be able to rent this marvelous unit from the Jim and Diane Williams. Dick and Ginny Kemplin Mercer, Wisconsin
