Motes Condo located at Island Royale , Gulf Shores, Alabama Vacation Rental by Owner

The condo was very clean and furnishings well laid out. The only drawback was the beds/mattress were not as comfortable as I would have expected.

Although we come to GS every year, this was our first stay at this property. Location was great, very clean, well appointed. Full kitchen and pots, pans and dishes supported in condo cooked dinners. Enjoyed the exercise room and particularly the sauna. Text to property manager re no kitchen towels brought immediate response. Bed mattresses probably need to be replaced - way too soft and uncomfortable in both rooms!! Other than beds, we really enjoyed our stay. Would like to return if bed situation

Great place and great location just wanted to list a few things. We replaced the bulb in the fridge, and 2 of the chairs were damaged on the patio one wobbles and the other had a back panel on the seat broken. Just wanted to give a heads up to the property owner. Overall a very nice place! Would absolutely stay at this property again!!

Best beach access in gulf shores. Staff were nice and helpful. Beautiful views. Inly complaint is the pool is shaded most of the time, but we are beach people so it doesnt bother us to much. Will stay here everytime we come to gulf shores.

Clean and nicely decorated condo with a beautiful view of the ocean. The large balcony with furniture is amazing. Host was quickly available for any questions. Also, Gulf Shores Beach is clean and family friendly. We can't wait to come back!

We loved it from the time we booked this particular condo and far exceeded our expectations. Very clean, and comfortable! Well equipped kitchen, plenty of silverware, nice pots and pans, even a cast iron skillet (now I had to go buy one for home). Had a keirig coffee maker and a regular coffee maker. Loved the balcony! It was just what was stated, you will not want to leave! Our first few days, it was too breezy to stay out on the balcony, and worse on the beach! So about half of the week we got to enjoy the beach! Look forward to coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo is beautiful and was extremely clean! The location is perfect for anything you want to do in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach areas. It’s very close to all the main attractions without being right in the hustle and bustle of all the shops and traffic. Getting in and out of the parking lot was very easy, which isn’t always the case at other complexes we have stayed at. The beach access is wonderful and is a beautiful spot to set up and enjoy a full day of sun and sand! The small boardwalk has hoses for rinsing off and is just a few steps from the entrance of the parking garage into the elevator. It’s super convenient for getting cleaned off and making a quick trip back up to the condo for lunch or to take a break from the beach. The condo had everything we needed and was in amazing condition, so we really didn’t have much interaction with our lovely hostess. But honestly, that’s the way it should be! It was a great experience all the way around and we will definitely stay here again!
