Grand Point is a great place to stay if you are looking for a low density condominium vacation rental. The facilities are nice and location very nice. Being the middle of July we expected many more people and a crowded beach. We were pleasantly surprised, even the pool area was not crowded. There was never a wait for the elevator which can be a challenge in some high rise condos. Our condo had nice views of the water but not direct gulf front if that is what you are looking for. The interior differed from pictures with a ‘new’ sectional versus the bright couch and chairs shown in the online pictures. Kitchen was stocked nicely. Definitely bring extra paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing liquid etc. as there is a bare minimum provided. Beds and baths were okay with the master being much better than guest room. The guest room absolutely could use new sheets and pillows. Overall this unit is nice but not the best we’ve stayed in. The Grand Point itself is not overly fancy with huge pools and grounds but beats out fancy with much less crowds. We would stay here again.

Our stay was perfect from beginning to end. The room was beautiful. Very clean, very well furnished and comfortable. The view was gorgeous. From the balcony we could see the pass as well as the open ocean. Great place to hang out. Quiet atmosphere. We plan to try to get the same room the next time we visit the area. Loved it!

Thanks so much for sharing your condo ! We had 5 members of our family , 3 generations , and it was enjoyed by all . We’ve stayed multiple times in Orange Beach and this was a unique location with the boats coming by . Very fun and enjoyable stay.

Nice basic condo. Would recommend adding a rug for the living area & the master bedroom as well as another night stand & lamp for master bedroom! Could use another towel bar & bath mat for master bath.

Cleanliness: overall was very good, however, I immediately saw beard trimmings in the sink in one of the bathrooms. I wouldn't expect to see that if it was thoroughly cleaned between guests. It gives the impression that the cleaning company just did a quick wipe down and left. Check in process: a little confusing since we had to go to a different building to get our packet first. And then I left what I assumed was our parking pass (bright red paper that said "parking pass") on our dash when we parked at the condo. The next day we had a note that we were illegally parked and would be towed. We eventually found the correct paper and put it on the dash. These are my only two complaints and were relatively minor. We didn't need much communication with property mangers during our stay, but the little messages back and forth were quickly responded to and answered all questions with no problem. Whoever was answering my questions made me feel like I was talking to a buddy, not a stranger. I would book this property again with no hesitation, and can't wait to go back!

The Space
Grand Point 502 is situated on the 5th floor offering stunning views of Perdido Pass and the Gulf of Mexico. The condo is 1250 square feet, with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 9-foot ceilings. Our kitchen features new stainless-steel appliances, granite counter-tops, and is fully stocked for all of your cooking needs. There is a regular (normal drip) coffee pot. The dining table has seating for 4 plus seating for 3 additional guests at the kitchen bar. We also have a table on the balcony which seats 4. A wet bar is adjacent to the kitchen with a new ice maker, along with a full-sized laundry room with iron and ironing board. The master bedroom has a king bed with balcony access, a full-sized dresser for your belongings, and private bathroom. The master bath has a jetted tub with a separate shower, dual-vanity, and a large walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a chest of drawers for clothes storage. Each bedroom has a TV and DVD player. Grand Pointe 502 will comfortably sleep up to six guests if you make use of the sofa-sleeper in the living room. Additional features of the fantastic condo include: new wood-grain tile flooring throughout the common area with carpet in the bedrooms, Wi-Fi, new air conditioner, new furniture, and the entire condo has recently been repainted.
Guest Access
Amenities at Grand Pointe include: beach side pool, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, fitness facility and a beautiful gazebo for cooking/picnicking complete with gas grills.
Neighborhood
Grand Pointe borders Perdido Pass to the east and the Gulf of Mexico to the south making it one of the most beautiful and unique areas of Orange Beach. Dolphins love to play in the pass so it almost a guarantee that guests will catch a dolphin sighting. Amenities include a large gulf front pool, an indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, a sauna, steam room, exercise room, and a meeting room. There is a ground level restroom near the pool area. The grill area offers 2 gas grills under a covered pergola with seating. Grand Pointe is a private, gated community with coded access, and sits back from the busy boulevard so you never have to deal with any street noise. Bring your fishing rods to fish off of the jetties and your beach gear to use while enjoying the expansive beach!
Other things to note
NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking. AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses. *A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed at the complex. One is included in your booking but a second pass must be purchased ($50) at check-in, if needed. Trailers are not allowed on the property.
